Russia did not let any single country off the hook. Not a single one that tried to look West. NOT A SINGLE ONE!! You cannot compare Belarus to Poland, Slovakia, Czechia, Romania or any other NATO member.
Unless you are ready to accept Belarus into NATO right now, immediately - no delays, no negotiations, no preconditions, no criteria, nothing, immediately, and move NATO troops inside of Belarus right away... if you are not ready for that - then the status quo (no war, no destruction, no deaths) is the best deal Belarus can hope for so far.
Wake the F up! And compare apples to apples.

These are actions that one would expect from a demoralized nation without any kind of horizon for future or conscious will for self-determination.
Theese documentaries are great, but releasing them in this way isn’t very strategic. If You want wider public aim for quantity with shorter form movies. As far as I know it should stimulate algorithm much better. Love Your work either way! Good luck!

The EU is a peace project, intended to avoid conflict which led to two major wars in a generation devastating most of Europe from Brest to Volgograd. To prevent conflict, cooperation by trade is the means. Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia understand this and have developed their economies to the benefit of their people as a result. The UK left the EU in 2020 and has not prospered. The US is far away from Belarus. Russia is next door.

if you've actually been to belarus you know how developed it is, and before devastating western sanctions in 2014 it was doing much better by gdp per capita metrics than multiple former eastern bloc countries like Bulgaria and Croatia. This despite being a landlocked country with zero natural resources.

that's because no one in Belarus will ever be able to cover farms into parking lots and offices and because they have large parts of the land that cannot be traded to any currency and finally because vast majority of the nation outside of progressive Minsk support current leader for as long as he has beating heart. Erdogan is also at power for over 20 years and there are no human rights issues there at all. On contrary, Turkey was always a leader on population growth. For those who wants to get "richer" off Western economies especially around Minsk or Homel he isn't favor, but for those who wants to be not fully dependent on Western currency he is father and family so go figure, because reality isn't a movie and nooz on TV.

u can't. many structures function in Belarus without any currency. sanctions worked only on the news, but in reality Belarus continued to trade and purchase all necessary goods in and out. Today it's the safest country in Europe for foreigners to travel with lowest crime rate. No traveler notices any signs of aggression of government against population there and great sincere hospitality. check more videos on how people from different parts of world visiting Belarus instead of watching propaganda. Check out how many expats from Western Europe purchasing properties to retire in Belarus. Those are real factors, not propaganda.

How exactly is it propaganda? Lukashenko came to power and immediately raised Russian to the status of official language and made it the language of his government. Russian language and culture is promoted over Belarusian and a minority of Belarusian young people speak Belarusian over Russian because of him. Additionally, he replaced all of Belarus' traditional flags and national symbols with Communist ones of Russian origin.
