I don't understand why people don't like the older Avon pieces. Most of them are of good quality. I love their jewelry. I have necklaces and earrings that are 25 to 30 years old and still shine like new.
I have asked that before. For resellers the market is flooded and value is very low. But I think they are pretty also
For sure, it’s a much better quality than the cheap junk that is sold today. It’s a shame that some folks feel it’s not good enough to sell. Granted, it may not bring top dollar. But in my opinion, it’s still a real deal, especially some vintage pieces.
I still have a few Avon pieces in my possession from way back, wish I had held on to a few more!

Kari the entertainer is so much fun to watch. She makes me laugh.
I personally think Avon makes some pretty cool pieces. I wouldn't pass one up just because it's Avon. You two are so much fun to watch. And like another viewer stated,everyone needs a Kari in their life. I love her sense of humor and she's so down to earth. I was laughing at Mikey for walking around with nothing but a pink flamingo in his cart.lol. I have never heard of Cherish. Going to have to go check it out. Great finds ladies. Have an awesome day.

I wish parents would teach their kids like we did when we were younger and that is to use an inside voice and an outside voice .I remember a couple of years ago when some lil boy was being loud and kept saying mom , mom ,mom like 500 times and I had , had a bad day and I turned around and said really loud "What do you want ? His mother told me thank you that has been the quietest he has been all day . LOL .that lil house you found in the lamp section I would have grabbed that up for my christmas village . I add a piece a year .I have a desk like that and mine is a golden beryl by waltham circa 1959-1960 . The desk is older than I am but not by much LOL . I love it all the same .

believe your last trip to the swap meet you did a lot of video footage and looking over items and comments on them and you did a great job. You really hit your stride and grove in that one. After I retired from teaching I did commerical voice overs for 5 years at a local t.v. station and you really have a natural gift. My husband said you remind us of our grandson. He is now 26.
Congrats again to the whole family, and pets on the new place.

The squeak reminds me of when Daddy and I rode our horses. Getting into that saddle always makes me happy everytime I hear it. I was a daddy's girl and wherever he went I was there. I was supposed to be his little boy but I was as tough as any boy. I was a tomboy growing up. I lost my Daddy several years ago. Later in life he always wore overalls. He told me one time when his time came for him to leave us to bury him in his overalls. Mom had his blue suit laid out and I grabbed his new pair of overalls and his cowboy boots and that is what he wore to ride over the mountains and to ride on old Red into gates of heaven. Dani I love watching you and don't let anyone get to you I feel like we would be good friends. We like so many things. I have my mother's things I have my grandmother's things and I have my aunt's things. So I know there is things to keep and things to sell. I only had one child a boy and he doesn't want anything. I so wanted to pass these things onto someone that would appreciate it like I have. The amber glass small dish was a fairy light base.

That cool polka-dot piggie with there'd bow-tie is verrry old. My Mom won one at a Stare Fair when she was young, I think a teenager. It sits on top of my refrigerator. The dots in the one I have are much more faded. It's probably from the mid-late 40's or early 50's!! Really good find!!! I think it will make an outstanding booth item.
Piggy bank is a hull. I have a white with red bow that my grandparents got in early 40s. They would throw money in it like blue notes and silver dollars. They had a motel (Hadlock motel) restaurant (sid's then Lloyd's cafe) and had station in Baker California. It's now where the jack in the box is. Part of their house is still there. They also lived in Vegas. Sold in 81 and now the family lives in Carson city. Love watching you!!! I would love to buy it From you.
Identical piggy bank is shown in my American Bisque book. That book called it an Attitude Pig.

That amber piece is the bottom to an old Princess House covered candle dish. I've got a couple of them myself. The chimney is what makes it glow beautifully!
I think the amber footed bowl is the bottom of a fairy light. The ridges are to support the top or candle. Anyone with a bit of needlepointing experience can make whatever initials they want on that BYU pillow kit; so many schools have lion/tiger/cat mascots.
I found two orrefors vases, one bud vase and another was blue and green. $2 each.

Dani, I bet the stainless strainer pot fits over the large pot. Together, they make a pasta pot or a steamer. The circumference looks to be the same size.They are likely sold separately so each comes with a lid.

The broken pieces would make a great project for folk art. People in various shelters, senior centers , etc.
Your Goodwill and Thrift shops have much, much better items than any of ours in Missouri. Our stores seem to have nothing but junk! I don’t resell but items I seem to find are made in China on the shelves. I may come home with one or two items. I would resell, if I ever found anything good. Although, I must admit, I don’t go as often as you!

Hi, Danni and Kari! Thanks for taking us on another fun and exciting shopping trip! The 2-handled bowl with the silver etch was made by the Cambridge Glass company. I don't know the name of the etch, but the blank is called Gadroon.

I absolutely loved that secretary desk dresser! I used to refinish a lot of secretary desks to sell them, but the one you found just needs some good furniture oil, imo. That piece would be difficult to leave behind! xo
I was so bummed when you didn’t pick up the base to that fairy light! There’s a huge market for mismatched pieces. I know an entire group of ladies (me included) trying to match their single pieces with a top or bottom. It looked like a Viking diamond point base.

The sea urchin came with potpourri originally. That is the reason for the stopper. My husband made a brass base with a candle light center and a cord. Mine is now a night light and is beautiful, albeit extremely fragile. It came from goldsmiths dept. store, currently macy’s early 80’s.

That amber glass pedestal piece at 25:39 was a bottom to a tea light holder. There is a dome that fits over the top. I have the same exact thing, the same color.

Hello you crazy gals. Dani, girl and Kari, baby. I’m laying here in the cool watching you shop and wishing I was with you. Don’t know about that heat though. It is just 106 here in Oklahoma and I break a sweat just thinking about it! My two favorite things were that cute piggy bank and the awesome owl Christmas ornaments. After you get your car unloaded that air conditioning and a nice sofa will feel really good.

You missed the 1930's/40's Munising wooden dough bowl at 10:40...right next to the black bowl you picked up. Those dough bowls are worth $🤑$
I saw the amount of wear on it and didn't want to deal with it.. but yes generally I pick up the old wooden bowls
