Imo the pic should be in the new library displayed in one of those glass cases billy aquired.maybe with a plaque.and photos of the old kitchen and the new.

Looking back at the start it's difficult to imagine your vision for this restoration project Billy & Gwendoline it has certainly been a challenge and I admire you for cracking on and sticking at it. I would have given up long ago. I look forward to the next episode and your return to the convent once the work at the chateau in prep for your dads birthday is complete.

Not only a new kitchen was obtained during the process a new plasterer was formed thanks to Simon the patient teacher and Yanis an exceptional apprentice.
You're one of my favorite channels. Each new project reveals the past and is almost like a treasure hunt to uncover what was there. Yesterday I watched you remove more of the floor and there were four levels of flooring cement, dirt, wood, tile it's no wonder the beams were saging. So amazing to look at the reno from the beginning and see the spectacular work that was achieved. It would be interesting to bring any of the nuns that may have once been at the convent to get their reaction and hear stories from their time on the site.
From what he’s said in the past I think all the nuns have passed on. But there was a guy that used to deliver to the convent that stopped by once. There’s probably more people like that in the village.
The kitchen is a massive acheivment, but in my opinion, the organ is the most epic addition to the convent so far, possibly surpassed evenually by the library. In all, this whole restoration is really fantastic.
