Hi Cody , real nice way to spend a Sunday evening . Thanks again for another post . Them Cragar S/S wheels are my favorite . The ones on my '85 Cutlass are in about the same shape as yours . It's very much like your '57 just 28 or so years younger . It was a birthday present from my wife about 18 years ago . It's been to lots of out door car shows and often has Tri -Five Chevys parked beside it . Back about 2019 at one show it was surrounded by '57 Chevys. Thanks again for posting, it was again fun to watch.
Thank you so much for the support and kind words!! I would love to see the Cutlass, those are nice rides! Thanks for watching, see you on the next one!
Excellent work Brother Cody :) also excellent 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door get updated parts on and run like good condition car again ! Excellent on gauges updated on too also and Lol on 80w90 differential fluid putting in to ! I remember on farm when use funnel plus big pail of 20 litres pail sounds like someone juggling back a Big Mickey Bottle of Whiskey and when pail empty the air vavle whistle like deflated a tire when take valve stem apart out Lol! 80w90 was differential fluid for farm tractors also combine drive axles too!
Glad you got the right parts this time...lol..sometimes those guys you order parts from just don't know..on my 56 the fuel tank leaked and the guy i got it from would seal it with bar soap i thought that was funny the tank had a dent in it where it leaked so i pulled the dent out and soldered the split that fixed it..don't forget to adjust the brakes before you drive it..sometimes i wish i had kept my 56 i was so close..the guy i sold it to said he was going to put a 350 with a turbo 350 transmission..it was a automatic from the factory..the floor was the only bad rust it had with minor on the tailgate..the fenders were perfect no rust anywhere especially behind the head lights..i sold it because i had too many projects..and he offeref a insane amount of money but it all worked out..you have to stay on it to get it right the amazing thing is you can still get parts for yours a little pricey but available..i see you'll be rebuilding the front end as well . not a hard job i did mine by myself the springs were a little tough but i managed and so can you just have a come - a - long handy..keep on plugging ..see you on the next one Cheers 🍺🍺🍺🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I ran into the same problem with the new sending unit I ordered for my '86 Chevy pickup the gasket holes did not line up. Anyway you are making progress on the '57 that's good. A good mechanic always figures out a way to make things work. I enjoy your videos thanks so much, cheers.

On my 66 C-10 with a 235 inline 6 my exhaust manifold cracked could not find another , but Headman Headers still made a 3 and 3 setup so you could run tru duels the 3 closest to the firewall dropped down and ran toward the passenger side , got those on and put 20in glasspacks on with pipes that ran out infront of the rear tires . They sure opened that 6 banger up and it ran like a scalded ape !!
