Building a Woodbox with Shapr3D using Parametric modeling

For this ash and cherry wood box, I tried parametric modeling in Shapr3D on my iPad. It gave me the flexibility to experiment with different dimensions and proportions of the design. Also, quite handy to keep all the important dimensions like wall thickness and clearances during all the adjustments.

Really love this piece. Beautiful form and wood selection too. It is cherry and ash like in the Shapr model right? Also, I keep forgetting the name of the layout tool use around 4:44. Love to pick one up. You know when a tool makes sense? That one resonates with me but I can never find it online when searching.

I think you mean the parallel marking gauge thing? I’m sorry I don’t know the name of it. Scriber gauge maybe?
