The sintessence of woodworking: perfect done, details in perfection... and otherwise silence... no unneeded monologs and no disturbing music... Great job! Congrats... 🔨👍
I'm going to make you some push sticks. You're killing me with the hands on such tiny boards over the jointer. Your skill level tells me you've been woodworking as long as I have, and when you go that long without injury, you begin to feel invincible. I know I did, at least up to the point I lost the tip of my finger doing exactly what you were doing on the jointer
Ive just made two of these boxes, I didn’t have the centre jig so i did it a different way ( past makes ) and it turned out brilliant, but to do it and put it down on video like you did is pure genius, thank you.
I am a carpenter who likes to do fine work......I have to say I was humbled by your craftsmanship. I also do halos and hip thrusts.......I wondered if you do too Orr is it just handy doing glue ups. On a serious note keep the videos coming.
@od_form it's beautiful and clever! I found the video itself hard on my eyes because it was sped up and a bit choppy...can you please go through your editing settings and use fades instead of quick change between shots. That hinge...is pure wooden magic!
Yeah they all have to slave down to the damn algorithm and lose all their integrity, if his mission would’ve just been to make the best video possible I highly doubt that he would’ve made it vertical.
Awesome built, remarkable precision. Wondering which tool you are using to drill the holes at 5:55 - could you share the name/brand if I want to search for? THX!
Masha Allah, Tabarak Al Rahman, you are my beautiful brother, creative, elegant, charming and legendary. You have all my love, great appreciation and respect. 💫👑💫💝👉👈💖💞 🪐🪐🪐🪐🌠🌠🕊💌
i about fell out of my chair when those hinges disappeared into the side of that box.. amazing work!! What was the tool u used to drill the holes in the hinges?
Please don't use your fingers to run stock over power cutters, esp. the jointer. There's always a safe way to do it, and you can't turn back time if you get injured. I like cement finishing floats with rubber bottoms for pushing stock over a jointer. Just a few bucks and your dead safe with better control. I don't want to have to take my shoes off to count to ten.
What drill bit are you using to cut the holes for the hinge? I've been trying to figure out how it's labeled and failing miserably at identifying it. Thanks @tiltedknot

How do you account for wood movement? Or does it not matter in such a small project?

You have every tool and machine available. Amazing.
How much does a box like this cost? Do you have a shop or website to see your products?
What is the drill bit you are using at 5:49. Fantastic build be the way.
I'd guess it's from Rob Cosman but I'm not sure if anyone else sells them. Google 'Rob Cosman's wooden hinge' and you might find more info.

Awsome box! I see you use 9.5mm dovels, so what size is the half round router bit you are using?
It's not half round , it's a core box bit , you can get it at rockler , and it's probably a three eights .
Wow
I’m very curious about that jig you used to drill the hole into the dowels is that a home made idea or is it an available to by tool

Nicely machined end product, but lacks the finesse and character of carpentry. It depends very much upon the customer base.
Skipped forward just to confirm whole video is vertical. So i stopped watching
You should slow down my friend. Behind the scenes we’re bandaids and picking up tools. I hope none of your viewers are trying to keep up with you.
