Brilliant, great to see the underside after 12mths of use. I'm tempted to do the underside of my van again in 6mths, then go to a 12mths treatment, just before winter sets in again, Love this stuff...
Morning People Of Lanogaurd Great video. Just goes to show how well the product is. FANTASTIC!! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas 🎅🎅🎅🎅 & a prosperous new year 🎄🎄🎄🎄 Keep up the good work. I'll be purchasing my top up bundle in the spring of 2023 for my driveway princess L200. Stay lucky. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Alan L200
Hi, Lanoguard is good to use on the engine bay but avoid fan belts. If Lanoguard is applied to the exhaust manifolds it will likely burn off due to the extreme heat, they get up to (Lanoguard is heat resistant to 450 degrees). We recommend spraying Moto Spray onto the areas you want to protect then wiping the excess off with a cloth. Or wetting a cloth with Lanoguard and wiping that over the areas you wish to protect. Yes Lanoguard can be used on your door hinges - you can use the Moto Spray and the Moto Grease, and it will protect, lubricate, and stays in place preventing rust or further rust developing. Hope this answers your question
I had hoped to use Lanoguard but I wanted a black finish to give the underside a uniform look like underseal, so ended up using fluid film black. Are you going to offer a black finish, or could I have added a black die to lanoguard for next time? Edit - I appreciate your reasoning for it being clear, so that you can see what’s going on underneath.
Thanks for your comment, Making Lanoguard black It’s something that would take a lot of thought and R&D once a colour is added it changes the dynamic of Lanoguard, the idea of Lanoguard being clear is so that you can still see what’s going on underneath, not cover up rust and areas would need to be masked up before spraying if it was black. I would suggest having a look on our Facebook User Group where this has been discussed many times by our members and if may give you some ideas of products to add or maybe paint prior to applying Lanoguard. Please follow this link to our User Group - facebook.com/groups/lanoguardusers I hope you find this helpful,
Hi, Lanoguard is jet wash resistant 3000psi therefore you can jet wash the dirt and road grit off, Lanoguard will stay keep in place doing its job. Last year we created a video regarding jet washing and dirt - here is a link to the video if you are interested facebook.com/718860434/videos/10159075916085435/ It is always good to clean prior to topping up to remove any dirt, grime from the surface, and see how it’s been working on your vehicle’s underbody/chassis. To remove any hard dirt and mud you can use a brush (such as a dustpan and brush) to help remove any stubborn dirt and grime, Lanoguard will stay put - check out this video it shows jet washing, brushing and explains a little - facebook.com/718860434/videos/10159075916085435/. I hope this answers your question
Hi I noticed that there was rust on the inner side of your spare wheel rim on the original video when treating the LR Disco 4 would there be any issues using Lanoguard next to the rubber of the tyre or any rubber on the car Regards Bob
Hi Bob, Lanoguard is safe to use on rubbers, plastics, and metals even the exhaust without any issue, meaning no masking up is needed. The areas to avoid are the brake discs and pads, you can cover these if you prefer, hope this helps
@@Lanoguard thanks very much for the reply I plan to sell my current vehicle and intend to buy a kit from you soon as it looks a great British product and look forward to using it. Regards Bob.
Hi, Please have a look at our Application Centres Map where you will be able to find our trade partner who can apply it for you, please follow this link to the map showing their locations and contact details. www.lanoguard.co.uk/pages/application-centres If there aren’t any applicators near you an alternative is to contact your local garage and see if they will apply it for you. We are always happy to discuss application with them if they have any questions. I hope this helps and there is someone near you.
I noticed you sprayed the silencer. Is that wise ?. Even halfway down the exhaust system that box will be approx 150c with a hot engine. Will it not just burn and make a horrible smell ?.
Hi, Lanoguard is a safe product to handle and to use. It is jet-wash resistant, non-perishing, non-conductive and non-flammable. It is safe to use on electrics, rubbers, and plastics and even the exhaust issue (meaning when using Lanoguard no masking up is needed). Lanoguard works well on hot surfaces because it doesn’t evaporate. It works well on stainless steel exhausts too. For exhaust it will burn off on areas that reach over 450 degrees such as downpipes of some engines. The areas to avoid are the brake discs and pads, cover these if you prefer. Hope this answers your question

Could you use the product on landrover door hinges which always seem to rust & direct on to the engine?…

If the dirt has stuck to the original application, isn’t it best to avoid another coat unless it has been properly cleaned?
