I've heard it said that the water is referring to the word, the word is the living water, which if a person hears the word that would refer to what is flesh is flesh , but I thought it meant you have to be a human born from a womb which has water, to the verse of what is flesh is flesh, it's not referring to baptism at all in my view! I was a former COC, I've been delivered since 1999, but one thing I can say if I weren't a COC I might not have ever been saved, I studied word & it convicted me to saving faith, I'm only one in my family that has been converted, my parents, brother, all his family are still in it, my grandparents were also that way but they have passed on now! I appreciate you & all the work you do, along with Trey Fisher or parish reformed!

It's clear the scriptures repeatedly states that you must be baptized in water and recive the Holy spirit , only satan would deny this fact .
