Why is it that we have to coat fish in flour first before batter and not vegetables? I forget sometimes and it doest stick on properly. So no flour on any veggies before frying? Thanks a bunch. Hi Alge, maintain the flour is to protect the protein but actually you can coat vegetables with flour too - think tempura. However, if you're stir frying fish, yes we recommend you to coat fish with flour to give it a nice smooth exterior. You don't have to do this for vegetables but you can add cornflour slurry to the sauce to thicken it. This will help the sauce coat the vegetables better. Hope this helps.
Hi Youxinerfa, they'll stay crispy for about 15 - 30 mins or so. If they are not as crispy anymore, you can airfry them for about 5 mins to make them fresh again. Happy cooking!
Hi Winnie, removing the skin from brinjal won't significantly impact its nutritional value. While the skin does contain some fiber and antioxidants, the bulk of these nutrients are found in the flesh. Hope this helps.
@@qlevy7132 yes nobody is aware: corn has zein gluten in it, look it up. tapioca is free from gluten but still can cause problems for some. so basically you want to get rid of these fillers.
