As a former landscaper and mower I like what you do, helping people the way you do and still able to make a buck from YT. Wasn't around when I was doing this so a little jealous. PRO-TIP at 15:00 when you went to lift that panel from the ground, be very careful as something like that is highly desirable for snakes. It looks like you live an an area prone for Copperheads and the like. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Love your vids. @@duanehirini2078 That's funny. I lived by the Murray river in Sth. Australia for ten years, and having browns hanging about the house was pretty common. I had a yard set up to one side for the dogs to do their business and snake-proofed it as much as I could. I came out one day to find all four of them casually sunning themselves - with a dead brown lying on the ground, all chewed up! I raced them to the vet (3 kelpies and a malamute) in a panic, thinking at least one must have been bitten, but after observing them for a few hours the vet said they were fine. All I could think was that the mal was the one that attacked the snake and that the very thick fur around her neck had protected her when she chewed the snake by the neck. Doesn't always work out that way - I lost one of the kelpies and a pet goat to the browns.

I agree, I’m fully disabled and on disability, below poverty level, and it’s important to me that my lawn and neighborhood look good. I was raised as a military brat and on base your lawn has to be pristine so I grew up mowing the lawn. I love seeing a beautiful, trim lawn. Since I’ve become disabled, even though I often don’t have money for food, I have to pay $90 a month to have my lawn mowed and edged. That’s actually an act of kindness by a company that will only charge me $45 every other week. Doing something that might be easy and trivial to many, means the world to people that don’t have the ability and/or means. Thank you for having the heart to help those in need.

My dad owned his own embroidery business, and he always used to say "never underestimate the value of a free sample."
In his business, that meant someone was out their wearing his work for the public to see and ask about. The same goes for you and those lawns. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.
He also took his riding lawnmower around and would mow yards for free when he saw them overgrown, but that's just because he was a caring person, not because of business. All I know is those values made him very successful in his time.

What a lovely transformation of her lawns. Those edges were back-breaking work but made a big difference. And how wonderful that you’ve offered to maintain it for her…what a gift! Blessings to you.

Spencer, I would like to say that you are an amazing young man. That you and you alone cleaned up that very large yard; even the part in front and on the sides and in the back, by yourself that was an incredible job. For Free!! WOW? That was such a blessing, you gave her the Grace to accept the help that you were offering her. I can thank you as a handicapped /disabled woman. ♿ We were charged four hundred for lawn care, just for the fifteen minutes he was here! You young man are the exception to the rule! I am new to texting.💐 Sorry I if I ran on too long....🌹🥰❤💗💖🏡🎆🎇

Thank you for being a helper for others out there. The world could use a lot more folks like you who bring so much kindness into our daily lives. I am 80 years old, and just discovered that young people like you who do good works--and expect nothing in return-- still exist out there. Thank you for making me happy every time I watch your show.

You my friend, are a great man. We used to do this all the time in our neighborhood for the elderly. My mother taught me it was a kindness and it showed me that its okay to help people. You killed it and honestly, I was smiling the whole time. Great job, and thanks for being a real good dude!

Agreed. We can’t change or control others only us. Imagine if more us made even modest efforts to be the change we want to see in our world? Humans share ~98-99.5% DNA. One big dysfunctional family with all life on this tiny planet incl the crazy cousins you try to avoid. Cheers✌️🌎

My dad mowed lawns for elderly folks in his parents' neighborhood my entire life. This channel makes me think of him and all the hard work I saw modeled as a young man. Appreciate your content, you're a good dude. 👍🏻

I imagine how good it made your father feel, to help others.
I can also imagine the old folks saying, " he's such a kind man, and look how good it all looks." Time spent admiring his work and thinking about him.

I watch a lot of these so called “charity cutting” videos, and they all seem to be a “one and done”. You have to wonder what the poor homeowner does afterwards. But you get my subscription for giving true charity by continuing to care about her situation and making the effort to work within her budget. Well done sir!

LOVE IT! As is watching the video, I was thinking about the lady. She probably slept very well that night. Obviously, she was trying to have her lawn kept up, but not having the means or the ability to do so was a lot of stress and anxiety. For the first time in a long time, her emotions are at rest. You not only gave her nice yard, but peace of mind.

Solely for the fact that you offered her a discount on recurring lawn care, you just warmed my heart. That right there earned you my subscription and likes on all your videos. What a genuine soul you have, I can totally reciprocate the notion. I would love to have the ability to help people in a way like you do.
