In his business, that meant someone was out their wearing his work for the public to see and ask about. The same goes for you and those lawns. Word of mouth is a powerful tool. He also took his riding lawnmower around and would mow yards for free when he saw them overgrown, but that's just because he was a caring person, not because of business. I am owner of The Lawn Kings in Lexington mo. We do a lot of free yards but I got to say that you got my support. I'm proud to say you are the man. May God bless you and your family.
Doing this for free is one of the most overlooked acts of service! Not only did you make this look beautiful but it leads to the beautification of the entire neighborhood!!!!
Alittle goes a long way” for him it was little enough to do for free cause he is good enough to know it goes a long way. For his 25 bucks and time put in … he made friend for life… did a service for his physical and mental health … made us feel motivated … the ripple effects. Money is not the only form of payment.
He also made tons of money from the video too tho, so he gets to help people without hurting their wallet and still getting paid and us at home get to be entertained and inspired while also not losing any money
I agree, I’m fully disabled and on disability, below poverty level, and it’s important to me that my lawn and neighborhood look good. I was raised as a military brat and on base your lawn has to be pristine so I grew up mowing the lawn. I love seeing a beautiful, trim lawn. Since I’ve become disabled, even though I often don’t have money for food, I have to pay $90 a month to have my lawn mowed and edged. That’s actually an act of kindness by a company that will only charge me $45 every other week. Doing something that might be easy and trivial to many, means the world to people that don’t have the ability and/or means. Thank you for having the heart to help those in need.
All the lawn care guys who do a yard for free are starting a movement for helping others. I watch Bladz, Juggernaut, clean the City and even another guy in Australia. You are all such a blessing and your videos are inspiring so many. Thank you! 👍😎🌟
As a species we need to come out of the "money first" mindset and start doing what needs to be done. Imagine a doctor refusing to operate on/treat a patient because the patient doesn't have money to pay for the doc's services - that is what makes our current system unsustainable.
There is also a guy that started robbing homes under this premise of helping with free mowing. Basically he'd ask for times in which he could mow their lawn for free and get them to reveal when they wouldn't be home and he breaks in at those times. Hope the cops catch up to him but he's responsible for knocking over at least 10 homes now (mostly seniors of course).
I’ll support a person like this all day long. BLESS YOU!!! I’m disabled as well, and I know how embarrassing it can be when your yard is the worst yard in the neighborhood. Ugh! You’re an Angel!!!
I can't believe how covered that curb was! Working with her at a price she can afford for the rest of the season was a wonderful gesture of compassion.
As a former landscaper and mower I like what you do, helping people the way you do and still able to make a buck from YT. Wasn't around when I was doing this so a little jealous. PRO-TIP at 15:00 when you went to lift that panel from the ground, be very careful as something like that is highly desirable for snakes. @@timwilde4200grew up in Port Hedland, worked for the council as a gardener. Once found two brown snakes under a panel with two bluetoungues and a huge goanna, all just hangin out under there, wondering who turned on the lights all of a sudden.
@@duanehirini2078 That's funny. I lived by the Murray river in Sth. Australia for ten years, and having browns hanging about the house was pretty common. I had a yard set up to one side for the dogs to do their business and snake-proofed it as much as I could. I came out one day to find all four of them casually sunning themselves - with a dead brown lying on the ground, all chewed up! I raced them to the vet (3 kelpies and a malamute) in a panic, thinking at least one must have been bitten, but after observing them for a few hours the vet said they were fine. All I could think was that the mal was the one that attacked the snake and that the very thick fur around her neck had protected her when she chewed the snake by the neck. Doesn't always work out that way - I lost one of the kelpies and a pet goat to the browns.
@@jackiewallace9231 I hate the tip culture. I am SOOOO happy he refused the tip. People need to learn to appreciate without money. Money is for contracts and business and so on. This was a gesture of goodwill. You cannot tip goodwill. You just have to pass it on ... or pay it forward as they say.

But he lied about the foot because she was walking fine. And before you say it was a prosthetic than how could she afford that and not a lawn mow? Yes he is being a good person mowing the lawn, but if he lies about disabilities than what else does he lie about?
My dad mowed lawns for elderly folks in his parents' neighborhood my entire life. This channel makes me think of him and all the hard work I saw modeled as a young man. Appreciate your content, you're a good dude. 👍🏻
You touched my heart and made me weep, talking about what your DAD,his mowing for the neighbors and whathe taught you and who you are today…I just lost my best friend, my DAD last year. He was a truck driver Union Teamster, I called him The WORKING MAN. ! I am all I am and my three boys are as a result Grandpas Teachings.. I’m glad your not in anymore pain, but I really miss you Charlie Brown..
I imagine how good it made your father feel, to help others. I can also imagine the old folks saying, " he's such a kind man, and look how good it all looks." Time spent admiring his work and thinking about him.
Thanks! You have really nice equipment (that’s what she said huh?… lol) I noticed you even went over your cuts twice (to cut, then mulch)… great technique and ATD. So much work has to be done before you can mow. Respect and Love. Everyone tip him $5. Drive that 2500 High Country brother!!!
This reminds me so much of a childhood friend of mine. When he was a teenager, he and his dad started a lawn-mowing business for him to save up for college. Every Friday they’d take care of the yards of all the elderly widows in the neighborhood for free. That friend has since passed away, but remembering him while watching you brought a smile to my face. Thanks for caring about the people around you.
"That takes away from the privilege of me doin' it." I LOVE that. It truly is a gift to give. When we allow others to give to us, we give the gift of gratitude back to the giver. It's a two-way interaction. Way to go, SB Mowing!!

Things like insulating doors and windows, drywall repair etc. It makes a person feel good about themselves. 2 winters ago, I got sick and I couldn't believe the love that came my way. People brought me tons of food and drinks and just spent time with me. Good on you dude.
Definitely consider having a low maintenance garden filled with shrubs rather than a lawn. Lawns are irrationally engraved in US culture, get over it, there's much better alternatives.
My husband has had three heart attacks resulting in three surgeries including a double bypass. I'm going to have back surgery and can barely walk. I think what you're doing is wonderful. I don't think you realize how much it means to folks. Thank you for being there for them..❤️
Speedy recovery! Check with your local city if they have volunteers for yard-work for seniors there usually is an organization available or veteran’s program might be of help or at least know which of your neighborhood chapters can help. Also check your local library’s bulletin for free resources. Now that lots of young folks are out of school, their free time can help to do good in their communities.

@@Piglife101 Not necessarily. Most people know who and what their neighbors are and that has a huge role in how the locals treat them. I have several neighbors that are awesome people and everyone helps each other out with them all the time. Then there's the oddball narcissistic a-hole idiot one that nobody will go near for good hard-learned reasons. All they do is whine about how nobody helps them while at the same time they happily report anyone for anything they imagine they have done wrong or just don't like and have done so many times the local law and emergency crews will not respond to calls from them anymore. Kinda hard to have sympathy for the person in the neighborhood that will call the cops on the guy who works 15 and 30-day rotations in the oil fields for not having mowed his yard for a month. Or that reported the couple down the street for having 'illegals' living with them because they bought a used RV and had it set up legally in their front driveway and their kids were camping out in it all summer.

Doing this for free is one of the most overlooked acts of service! Not only did you make this look beautiful but it leads to the beautification of the entire neighborhood!!!!
especially when it cost him $25 in gas just to do the job
It was so nice that the lady tried to tip him at the end. You could tell it meant a lot to her!
@@hargitsingh4971 Not the best analogy, since they will operate regardless.
@@johnjackson9767 Only in emergency wards in my experience. Otherwise a patient cannot go past reception if they cannot pay the fees.
These white men should be highlighted in the media to bridge the racial divide. Not those race baiting protests
I’ll support a person like this all day long. BLESS YOU!!! I’m disabled as well, and I know how embarrassing it can be when your yard is the worst yard in the neighborhood. Ugh! You’re an Angel!!!

It looks like you live an an area prone for Copperheads and the like. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Love your vids. EDIT; when you turned down that tip at the end and what you said, I gained a whole new respect for you. Good job man!
Turning down the tip said it all. I immediately noticed that also.
I come from Australia - my FIRST THOUGHT was snakes. lol

Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
