To all the people discussing whether he's doing it for the views, of course he's doing it for the views. The home owner gets a free, class act lawn service, and the creator gets to make a better living than he could as a simple one man lawn care service, and we get an oddly satisfying video. It's a win win win

Really .. the funny thing is that someone has to analyze the actions of an individual doing good… it’s sad. However, I really enjoy the heart of the one man landscaper and his ability to bring to life a homeowner home by makeovers and manicuring the lawn. This is called helping to make this world a better place. Now maybe a suggestion @nathan Rogers you can do something by getting off your device and giving iced water to homeless in the summer .. just saying ! No judgement here! Or something good for special needs , etc. Record it and share I’m sure we will love to see that ! Signed A teacher , parent and sibling of special needs adult!

Have you ever gone back to see if a new found pride has made any of the home owners continue to maintain their yards ?
Many years (decades) ago, I had a severely overgrown back yard. My neglect had become an embarassment. One day, I tore up all the weeds (well over 6 ft tall in some areas) and laid new sod. It was such an amazing transformation that keeping it maintained became a passionate hobby, and I eventually planted flower gardens, hedges, shrubs and trees in the coming years. I went from walking past my yard every day, to spending most of my summer free-time in it (It is buried under snow for 5-6 months of the year so summer is all I've got). I was curious if this is an effect that your efforts have caused with some of the folks you've helped.
Others have said it before... I bet the neighbours love you even more than the homeowners.

(Nice work covering the street sign.) As with any big job, it seems to help to "finish" small areas at a time, building a sense of progress. So far, you further got the property line edged, refound and redefined two entrances. That was excellent trimming the back porch shrubs and pruning back a tree starting to cause roof damage. It redefined the area and added back "space". Looks like it could be an enjoyable patio to use again. There was a lot of comfort in that much restoration. People that can’t take care of their yards shouldn’t own houses. Their homes harbor pests, bring down property values in the neighborhood, but the worst part is it makes the neighborhood an unpleasant place to live. I moved into a nice neighborhood when I bought my first home, where everyone took care of their property l. Then, I had a neighbor move in that didn’t take care of his yard. He got rats, that spread to their yards, snakes, bugs which made sitting outside unpleasant, and it was so unsightly. Everyone ended up hating that guy after a while, and no one was nice to him anymore. We all at some point helped the guy out, but he totally took advantage of everyone and expected them to do it. The guy would go out walking for hours every day, but he couldn’t walk behind a lawn mower for 30 minutes once a week. People that do not tend to their properties are losers, and all the neighbors hate them.
