I’ve been following eloy for a good few years now (I’m a huge sepultura fan) I’ve seen them live, you think this drum cam is impressive? Wait until you see eloy live, he drums through you. It’s murderous. The most impressive thing is his stamina as he never tires. His technique and finesse is obscene too. I’m so happy the world is seeing eloy now. The best drummer on the planet and it’s not even close. Check out his work with sepultura on the Quadra album. Isolation is eloys masterpiece and I’m genuinely going to miss him playing it. I hope slipknot let him bring his Brazilian rudimentary work into their new songs.

Anos ouvindo Slipknot e esse refrão da Eyeless é bem parecida com a da Surfacing. Joey sabia colocar sua assinatura nas músicas de um jeito único.
It's inevitable to compare Jay and Eloy because of this new Slipknot acquisition. Jay is extremely talented and you can see that in the latest slipknot albums. But Eloy is different from anything we've ever seen in the band. It's as if he energized the band, making it more brutal like before.
Yes. Jay was never good enough at live and also on the albums he was fast and that's all. Never was on good tempo at live, made huge mistakes, played parts different cuz it was too much for him. He is good but slipknot was too much for him.

Both drummers are super talented, BUT!! i stay with Joey, on my opinion he was way better then Jay and Eloy. I started listen to Slipknot and became a fan after i've seen disasterpiece show in London , that was a master class of drumming, the songs sounded even better than studio recording , and i bacame a fan of slipknot because of Joey, the way he played drums, and coolest Corey's mask!! Rip Paul and Joyey, we miss both of you guys.
