for the first 7 years I played for kess than 200 people. In the last 8 years I've played drums for over 70,000 people. Been following you for years. And you inspired me like crazy. (learned a ton of stick tricks really early 😂) The only live concert I enjoyed was when the word alive was Opening for Memphis may fire at house of blues in southern California (and I got to meet you briefly after the show in 2015) Now I operate a mobile detailing business in Sacramento CA, and have a newsletter on Social skills, creativity, and storytelling. I find drumming as the foundation which I built confidence and have built all the rest of my creative endeavors around. And you were a huge inspiration early in my drumming career.

You don't need talent. It's just that if something interests you, how do others do it? That's the right way you want to get into. Just start with the basics and after a while you will get the rhythm in your body, then you practice the techniques and you are very close to the point you wanted to reach. I'm pretty sure more drumming songs have got you interested. Start with less demanding. Electronic drums are enough to do drumming.

What’s he turning around and saying to someone after the fire goes off? Is it about how the fire is burning him like that one watch the world burn performance? It’s so nutty to me how someone of his caliber can continue maintaining the groove even while being burned and turning around to talk to a tech. That’s a level of professionalism and just skill that is just super impressive to me.
Yep, that entire time the flames were going off for any song, his burns were getting worse. Matt Horn (His drum tech) has a really good video on it since he was there for it. Highly recommend

This makes me want to start drums but as someone with no musical talent, its so hard to learn something new like this, like a whole new language tbh
