This is obviously a Denali (aka pricy). I'm more curious about future more affordable trims. GM has three battery sizes for the BT1 architecture but we only see two here in the Sierra for now. The 2025 Silverado EV WT2 is using the 14 module pack (~119KWh) that is also an option on the Brightdrop cargo vans. So it will be interesting when that pack proliferates other trims as well and creates more affordable options. The sweet spot for many I think is the 2025 Silverado EV LT3 model with the 20 module pack. Even the LT3 is very well equipped (better Equipped than my Blazer EV 2LT model). I do wish GM made a mid-sized electric truck.
The ice vehicle software vs the BEV software is completely different and for a better user experience having native software vs fragmented ensures performance of systems which is the reason Rivian does the same thing Also the BEV SierraEV vs ice front ends are the same which is key

Fun fact, the hummer ev with the 2x trim and no extreme offroad package can tow 12,000 and has almost 2k in payload, higher than either the silverado ev and sierra ev in any offered configurations
Where do you see the payload specs? I saw on GM Authority that shows the 2 motor Hummer EV only has a 1485lb payload compared to 1750lb for the 3WT Silverado EV.
Why didn't they just call this what it is, the Avalanche. Sure come up with another name for the GMC version but why not differentiate these from the gas trucks with a different name because they're so different.
No apple CarPlay is a big deal. Like a no-buy deal. Everything else seems great, but the GM system is clunky and not necessary. If you’re going to not use CarPlay it needs to be as well done as rivan or tesla
I don’t think a truck needs a moonroof the tires can be brought down to 20s and people that buy Dinali’s don’t need a fold down seat because they never haul anything in the bed otherwise it’s a very good truck
On the Truck specs, Rivian does not have the towing ability, on the regen and charging and does not have Supercruise while towing, the GMC is the better road tripper.
