actually, the gun he uses is specifically a "pre-Imperial Garlean revolver". you can get one in Gubal (not sure if hard) and compare it's still an awesome touch, though. Who else is going to have pre-Imperial Garlean weaponry but the man who founded the empire?
In regards to the light returning.. it's one thing to write a blanket success. It's another to write an outright failure, despite having done everything correctly. The latter is MUCH harder to do, and yet it's done here.
From what I recall at the time, they hadn't made the Crystal Tower a requirement yet when 5.0 was out, so there were people who couldn't call out to G'raha when this scene came about because they hadn't done the raids to know who he is.
That is correct It wasn't until the patches that they just could not proceed in any way without it being mandatory, so you can't exit ARR into HW (as in, the final few quests of 2.5 I believe) without having done crystal tower first
I've heard the restriction did pop up for the quest that starts 5.0 as well, for those few that hadn't done it before release. This could be incorrect, but it is what I was told!
I started playing the MSQ about a year ago and powered right through Shadowbringers. Took a bit of a break and am jumping back in the finish up Endwalker and your guy's podcasts and streams have been a great way to catch up on stuff I forgot. Can't wait to see you do the Shadowbringers patch content!
Man, I know you've been doing it for a while, but big ups for editing in the split-screens when relevant. You totally didn't have to do that for a stream clips channel.
I love the idea someone had where Emet was there the entire time but he was just having trouble getting his gun to work Video for those who haven’t seen it: ruclips.net/video/O24Zb0GWJU0/видео.html
Ryne-cording was terrible and I love it too. 16:03 Kitty aggro yet again. 18:40 There is nothing Emet does better than drinking scenes. 23:36 What makes it better is from Ardbert's tone you can tell he's sympathizing with you, as someone who knows what it's like to try to help but make everything worse, edit later, yeah you got this at 30:00. 26:25 So many other streamers have said the same thing, it wouldn't have been the same if Emet had used any kind of magic. Dude is Garlean, after all.
I'll never understand why people do this, I get that the underlying goal is to.. Hype them up? Make sure a piece of information remains in their mind? But what it ACTUALLY does is forces them to see information as a through line that they know with absolute certainty is relevant because you're quite literally saying "This is relevant" Like the name on its own isn't going to "spoil" something, but it's also not going to do anything other than set an expectation either... So like why though? I just really don't get it.. If I got comments like this in my playthrough, it would have been really upsetting to be forced to know with certainty that something was relevant later.. It ruined the moment of "Oh shit this is the guy they mentioned at X moment!" Instead you forcibly turn it into "Oh, I was wondering when this was going to happen." idk, this probably comes off as rude or whatever, but I feel like you should understand there's no way to approach people doing this without it coming off as rude. Because there's a fundamental gap between us, you believe you're hyping, I believe you're ruining. Nothing to say I'm explicitly right, but I can tell you with certainty it would ruin it for me and are the type of comments I would dread interacting with my community because of.
@@Disconnected66 Guess you don't play much Telltale Games. This person will remember this. Who knows if it will be that relevant. Maybe it's just they dress later...maybe it's how they die. Who knows. There would also be others who would be appreciative of a heads up, so they know the name so when it comes up later, they are aware of it rather than be like "who the heck was that again?" So, in the end it's a preference, and I should be able to say what I want just as much as you would be able to say or not say what you want :P
It's funny you mention a game dropping you into such hopelessness. Kefka from Final Fantasy VI actually succeeds in his plan to destroy the world. The second half of the game is you re-gathering the band throughout the World of Ruin in order to take out Kefka.
behold: a sorcerer of eld. tremble before my gun.
Can't help but replay 09:23 cause the lil edit with switching from Val to Tuna is so very chef's kiss. Absolutely love it.
The editor's been doing that a lot, and every time, it's just... [chef's kiss]
Such a small moment and easy to miss but Val wearing white and Tuna wearing black makes it stand out so swell
it was so seamless!!! i didnt even notice omg
I've never noticed it before, but for some reason I find it very amusing how Emet says "By YOUR twelve, boy" when responding to Alphinaud
I loved that line.
love how emet uses a gun here. a wizard with insane power just uses the weapon the garlean empire, an empire he raised, made to stop the cat boy
"Behold, a Sorcerer of Eld!" [BLAM]
I cast bullet!

"We did everything right, everything that was asked of us, and still - still it came to this!"
Yeah, kinda interesting how that happened twice.

I laughed at the champaigne and party poppers bit.
"We're dead man walking now! HURRAY!" 🤣

Only a Garlean would bring a gun to a magic fight.
I laughed so hard when Emet brought a gun to bust a cap in our fav catboy. Behold, a sorcerer of eld, who decided gun was the best answer

Well emet was a fan of theatre. So it was less his gun not working and more he was waiting for *the most dramatic moment* to make his entrance
I've seen that video. Extremely well done animation.
The Bene_G video. Love it
I almost shat myself laughing at that one. Just the face the WoL makes at the end... So good.
Customary cat interference in this video too!
Guess you either die a hero, or live long enough to become a light warden.
Emet being able to control a Lightwarden, is probably because he's just that strong
Don't be jealous of Vauthry's hair garrett, You also have much hair
You killed Graha! You bastard! was the first thing through my head when Thancred reacted...

Pay attention to the name Loghrif, this will be important later :) @15:35

Behold a great and powerful sorcerer of eld's chosen magic is: G-U-N
Please React to "/Emote" by Zanekonpu.
I second this!
Let's gooooo
