If my natural voice was about say 6 semitones higher... then I might be able to after some practice. Man, I can sing like A2 with my normal voice! I am seriously a low baritone. :) I just use pitch shifting on the high stuff I sing on my channel. Like Along. I pitched that thing up 9 semitones. I just found ways to make it not sound pitched. thanks ya!!!!

      @TruthSurge 4 года назад +2

      @@adammishan nope. Most all the rock tunes I pitch up AFTER singing them in a lower key. It's like a runner doing a marathon but he has metal lower legs cuz his lower legs aren't actuaoly there. So, he says hey, I'm still going to run. So, years ago I wanted to sing a Dio tune (rainbo in the dark) but obviously with a deep baritone, that isn't going to happen. So, I pitched it up by oh 5, 6? semitones. Then I realized I could sing all these songs LOWER, fix the range in the mix, done. So, I've had fun doing these songs and the fact I pitch them up is no secret or not really. I post that in some of the descriptions. I made a vid on how I do it also. you can search baraccuda and truthsurge. That Alone song I pitched up 9 semitones! So, yeah. They are more like audio sculptures but I do sing them live and then patch them up a bit in the mix. alt takes, touch of auto-tune etc. To me, it's about the end result. I have NO desire to sing live or play guitar live and I consider myself a pretty damn good guitarist. ty!!!

      @@GaminglegendZak this is how I got my whistle register: push air threw your mouth but dont try to sing anything, while youre pushing the air, push your throat and try to force it to make a noise but not like you would do with your headvoice, its a very different placement, and dont do it too hard tho because doing it harder wont help, and just keep doing that, eventually a squeak sound should come out, which is the whistle register.

    It should be noted that singing in the whistle register is like being double-jointed, you either have it or you don't. Secondly, there is no contact between the vocal fold in whistle (like when you whistle with your lips) the sound is completely disconnected from your lower registers. This was a great video for learning how to squeal, though...
