I love euro nymphing I recently bought the same reel youre using and caught a ton of fish on it. Euro in most cases outfishes the indicator from my experience

Hi, I'm having a few problems with my line nymph fishing sessions. For several outings now, I've been fishing all day without managing to catch a fish, despite changing nymphs several times (I've tried several tip sizes: 12, 14, 16, as well as different configurations with different tips and stems depending on the water vein and depth).
I'm wondering if this is normal or if there are adjustments I could make to improve my results. I'm aware that fishing isn't an exact science, but I'd like your opinion.
- Would you recommend any strategies for adjusting the nymph's drift, or any advice on reading the river?
- Are there any particular signs to look out for to understand whether the fish are active, and what type of nymph would be best in these conditions?
How do I know if my drifts
Are they correct?
I'm willing to try several things, and any advice or adjustments you could give me would be very welcome.

Are you in Europe? They just call it nymphing there. LOL. I went out with a guide in Norway and he hands me a euro nymph rod which I wasn't used to and I said, "No indicator, huh?" He said, "What?" Uh, nevermind.

Fishing preferences are on a spectrum, not a binary system. I for one am attracted to both euro and bobber-doggin', and frankly I can't settle for either one exclusively.

He sure is. As soon as he sets the hook in the downstream direction he re-positions the rod upstream, to keep the fish upstream. He also moves his feet to keep the fish above him which makes it a helluva lot easier to net them. Kyle's a beast.

What euro nymph 3wt rod do you suggest
Been watching a lot of your videos for info. Taking in a lot. I am getting into fly fishing and have people willing to help me learn. But I do have a question for the masses. Is there anything I can do the day before to get ready for a day on the river? I am ok with wasting my time, but I am not a fan of wasting other people's time. Especially if they are there to help me learn a new thing. I guess what I am trying to find out is....should I try to rig up the night before or just do I when I get to the river? Is there anything I should I have staged and ready to go before even getting in the truck to head out?
If it takes you a long time to rig up on the water, then yeah, do it the day before. Also just practice your knots; surgeon's knot and whatever you tie to your flies. I recommend a Davy knot. It's so fast and easy, it's a game changer. You want to get good at it so you don't waste time trying to undo a tangle. Just cut it off and retie (take the scraps with you). Also, so you can change flies quickly if you're not getting any takes. Good luck.
Best thing u can do to prep is practice tying knots. U need to b able and willing to change flies and rig up after snagging the bottom.
