Dave i think the existing stripes with the new green paint would look amazing. The red line on the outside of the stripe would really set off the green and the black.

Not trying to be a Nancy here but as you were foaming and gooping all the joints that need that connection I seen you didn’t etch prime or weld prime all your grind marks. Wow quite a change in plans Dave, but if your not comfortable driving with the glass roof then do what makes you happy! Cant wait to see it done, Green is more than i would do , gray is more my liking, but they will see you coming!
What about making your own seat for when you go to track, that is lowered and your helmet would fit the roof header. This way you could just change out the drivers seat when going to track, plus it is not like your at the track every day so it wouldn't be a big pain the change out the seat on track days.
I feel you Dave. If I had rented a Charger w/ the sunroof in 2017, I wouldn't have bought my 2018 R/T. I'm 6'4" and the headliner actually touches my head because of the sunroof mechanism. No sunroof in my R/T, so I didn't know until I got a loaner last year.

I think I'd rather have the cool roof and run aftermarket bucket seats for track days but I'm not built like a giraffe or building/driving any of your cars so we all know how much my opinion matters. :) Also, if you ever sell it. A salvage hellcat durango with upgrade to the panaramic roof unavailable on durangos = cool. Not so much with a salvage hellcat durango with less options than it sold with. People will question the rebuild thinking you cheaped out even when not true.

Like the channel and watching since the Ford build. Even though you don't ever seem to finish anything I am still a fan. Just my opinion but buy the proper roof skin from the dealer and repaint the same color so you can use the really nice stock headliner. That gray with the black strip/red accent is really nice and resale would be good when you get done with it. That green looks like crap and you have to jam the car out and the engine compartment is already the gray. Doesn't make sense to go green and more work.

Our durango HC hatch is aligned like garbage from the factory and rubbing the paint off the seam sealer. Been trying to get the dealer to fix it since May and they keep having excuses.
Damn, Dave hyped the pano sunroof for the longest and then he quits on it because… he wants to track this giant boat with a helmet on?! WTF?! I call BS. He prob doesn’t want to deal with the complexity of the project bc he wants to sell it after it’s been fixed.
