Great review. Would definitely want to try the maple. Would be good to take on a trip where you want protein for breakfast but can’t make eggs. But sorry raisins are my enemy, people add them to everything i don’t like the taste or texture; I can handle craisins those.

I love hearty flake cereals that take time to chew, but I pass on any cereal with nuts.
That's why I love the original Special K Protein cereal so much, since it's just the plain protein flakes with nothing else.

These are grain based cereals that are high protein, Ghost cereals are no grains and just dehydrated whey protein mixes. That's the texture difference you're referring to...

I never believe the pictures either. I always laugh at frozen meal pictures! I have never bought Wheaties. These do sound good, especially the Honey Pecan, however I prefer the regular cereals. It’s good to know there are good ones out there. Great review.

Never liked Wheaties. Way too hard, like chewing rocks. Grape Nuts are hard, but soften pretty good, and I like the flavor more than anything Wheaties can do.
