For your reference (as a driver of the 377) the DRA is used at platforms where no starting signal is provided (and you have entered the platform on a single or double yellow) as a reminder to the driver to either expect an "expect stop" aspect or A "stop" aspect
Just gotta have that route knowledge. After a while, speed limits, signal placement, and upcoming stations get drilled into your mind and you know exactly when they’re about to come up.
Ahh a US brother playing UK train routes, lovely to see. And yes , the 377s IRL sound alot better hence the complaints, but I guess this gives you an idea. I can link a video of sound if you want to hear the traction motors ..or for anyone else who wants to know
Yeah, I love some of the rail networks outside of the US. I've seen comparisons on the forums between the way it sounds in-game to the IRL version and it is noticeable. It's basically what I said in my recent review of the Southeastern High Speed route.
@@MysticZeenoz yeah, I guess when you go on them all the time (since 377s and 465s and 375s etc are local to me) you kind of notice the sound in way more detail and have naturally higher expectations. I'm glad they finally release more uk passenger routes tbh. Tsw was slacking with them before haha
Yeah. I feel that way with the M3/M7 on LIRR. I live in NYC, so I get to see these units all the time, that also means that I instantly know the issues when I see them. And yeah, it's nice to see more UK Routes. I really like them. This is why I like to suggest things like London - Brighton, Thameslink, and the WCML.
One of the things that really irritates me about East Coastway, is that there are a lot of sections of the track that are missing the AWI markers and the AWS signal that goes with them. An example would be that 70 to 60 mph reduction that you encountered. Good memorization of the route. I wish DTG would be more consistent in their quality control. Nice video though!

Thanks for the information.
Really impressed to see someone operating without a HUD at all!

@@MysticZeenoz yeah exactly, and I agree. UK routes are almost endless (uk loves their trains lol, trains and transportation everywhere)
Yup. And I really like seeing stuff like the London Underground/Overground, Thameslink, and Crossrail.
