- Finally, a video about the Jeep where I actually have some knowledge. I've been Upholstering furniture and automobiles for 30 years, so have a lot of experience with upholstering headliners. Glad I could finally share some first hand knowledge.
Could you link the video where you install it, please? It’s not showing up in searches
This is a really helpful video though, I was thinking about replacing my headliner in my jeep with something but wasn't sure how to go about doing it
Nice job. Looks great
I tried this and it failed miserably, twice. But I WAS using straight polyester fabric, a high-synthetic, high-density material. Did not want the foam, so I skipped over the two-layer headliner material.
Thank you for this video. How many cans did you use? I might be doing a headliner soon, so I need to know how many cans to buy, Thank you.
It was a while ago, but I know it was less than two.
@@HoJForgeThank you so much for the quick reply.
Oh man that airplane noise is awful obnoxious haha
It will be like driving a convertible , looking up at the clouds.
So I was thinking of sewing it on the inside part so I won't have to worry About adhesive spray..I hate that stuff.. what do you think..will that work??
Is the material sagging after 3+ years or still tight?
Sold that Jeep a couple of months ago... the headliner was still right and tight
