An alternate universe where Neil DeGrasse Tyson was still respected in the 2030s.

Eventually, Mars will be terraformed and colonised.

These shorts are so underrated! I have read the book several times (first time when it was still warm from its first print), seen the movie many many times after that (last time it was today) and this is the first time I found out that these shorts even exist. Just 2.9K views? What went wrong?

The videos were originally uploaded on their own "AresLIVE" channel and had a few million views. Unfortunately the channel got deleted, probably because these videos are now special features on the DVD and iTunes versions of the movie.

I AM SURE, that whenever Man lands on Mars, they will surely name a "Damon Point" on Mars to remember Matt and his fictional journeys and experiences that inspired real life missions.

Sadly, Mars is incontinent, can't hold its water. Thus, no terraforming, but maybe an unmanned scientific research station eventually.

Since this was written new research shows there is a large amount of water deep underground, which may change things. Humans on Mars, great idea because of all the advances that will fall from it. Terraforming, bad idea.
