    How did you make the terrain with the house models and partcile system? Such a sick render bro.

    • @skilllanoodle
      @skilllanoodle  2 года назад

      I modeled a few basic shack models with some rust textures placed on them, put them all in a collection, and then used a particle system to apply them to my ground plane

      @@skilllanoodle Oh sick thank you!!! How did you make your ground plane look so much like terrain with its bumps and curves my dude?

    • @skilllanoodle
      @skilllanoodle  2 года назад

      @@williamkelly7760 essentially just basic poly modeling pulling on vertices and faces, Also a SubD modifier can go a long way n making that easier!

    Hola! Excelente video!!

    @Dakrahs 2 года назад +2

    good tutorial, altough I actually feel that the last step - adding the mountains and the clouds - kind of ruins the final result :/ it's much better looking (and really easy too) to do them in blender...

    • @skilllanoodle
      @skilllanoodle  2 года назад

      What I often found was that while using ant landscape is quite easy, actually texturing the models is what I find the most difficult. If you have a good technique for texturing ant landscapes I would for sure be interested in hearing a different approach!

      @@skilllanoodle There is a way to use an external software called "World Creator", James Tralie has a good tutorial on how to combine it with Blender. But tbh at this point, you could just break up your mountains in different png's for layering and place them in the background with some distance + add some fog / haze to get more atmospheric depth...

      @skilllanoodle  2 года назад

      @@Dakrahs I'm definitely going to have to check that out. Thanks!
