My heart is troubled this Christmas. My health is deteriorating, my finances are in shambles, and for the first time ever I will not see my children on Christmas day. This video, this lovely reminder of what Christmas really is, has brought some comfort and peace to my aching heart and has reminded me of who it was that was born on Christmas day. He who made lame beggars walk and blind men see is truly the Son of God.

I agree with Nielson. The fact that the man ran up to Jesus to embrace him almost as if he's a child running up to his parent, which is quite true... It can make anyone smile. It makes me remember the days when innocence still reigns in many hearts. We were all once a child.

The part that touches me the most is at the end (2:43) when the man notices the Savior and runs to embrace him. What a beautiful scene of compassion. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of us all. The Savior stands willing to accept all who will choose to come to him.

Susan Price How did you go about becoming a Mormon? I have studied a little about the LDS Church , but don't know very much. There is just something about them that seems right. If I made the move to Mormonism, it would cause a major problem with my family... but I have felt drawn towards the Church of Latter-Day Saints for some time now and would appreciate your advice. Thank you.
2dogs- we have missionaries all over the world that would love to stop by, talk to you, and answer any questions. If you go to mormon.org you can chat with representatives, request a free copy of the Book of Mormon, find a meetinghouse and many other things.
There are missionaries (just regular Mormon church members who volunteer their time) that are all around the world, and their specific responsibility is to help other people to come closer to Jesus Christ, and one of the things they do is teach people who want to become members. You can arrange a meeting with the missionaries in your area or find a church meeting house by going to mormon.org. I'm glad to hear you have been drawn to Mormonism, it's something that has really changed my life. My mom was the first person in her family to listen to the missionaries, and eventually the rest of her family listened and joined too, and I'm very grateful. My biggest advice is to look at official Church information, because there are a lot of nay-sayers out there on the internet nowadays. Good luck!!!

This, and other similar videos, take those who are watching them, back in the world's history, to that day and age, that time. They make it seem as though you were right there, glimpsing a glorious part of spiritual history. Though I love all Christmas music, "O Holy Night", is one of my favorites, I love this video!
They would take you back to that day and age if the race and ethnicity of Jesus was correct. He wasn't white, or European.
