This song means so much to me. I was listening to this song when I decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. I decided to do so because I grew up in a poor family and I was looking for a way to ease the burden on my family. Yes I was scared and praying to God for guidance. The song seemed to fit the moment. Thank you for this song Mr. Hart, the song means more to than you will ever know; and to many others as well.
My younger sister died of cancer in september 2017. In her last days she didn't actually say "Just a little more time" but she did tell me she had stll so much left to do in life. It was another way for asking for more time. This song made me think of her. From Italy
As of tomorrow, it will be two months that I have been completely off of mental health medication under the guidance of my doctors. Even in my darkest days, when I didn’t want to live anymore, I would listen to Corey (and especially this song), and it gave me a glimmer of hope, a ray of sunshine and the fight to live. ..... Happy Birthday, Corey ..and thank you so very much!!
Corey Hart. I would listen to this song every single night before laying my head down to sleep; when I was in Afghanistan. It kept me alive, kept me going, always looking forward to the future. Thank you for keeping my spirits up then and still to this very Day! God Bless you!
Wow. I know this song is timeless and means so much to so many but your comment about being in afghanistan had me trying to imagine what you went through and I just want to say Thank you. I dont think people including myself could even imagine what you and so many went through but many do try and are so grateful. I always look at it as the reason people have no idea is because of the fact that you and so many like you do such a good job. The only way people would undertstand is if you failed. Sadly weak men come from good times. Good times created by strong men. Well the weak are rising up and sadly its going to be tough times soon. Very tough. Its been good times for a long time. Thats why People have become crybabys. About everything. People get offened by everthing simply because they need something to complain about. They are going to create the worst times. Spoiled brats have no idea how good they have it. The most spoiled generation is the one that hates everthing and wants everything and they dont want to do anything.
This is absolutely beautiful!!! My 19 year old daughter just wants to give up & I just heard this new version & sent it to her!!! I’m 46, so I course I grew up with the original version & loved it back then!!!
When I was a kid my father left out of the blue leaving me, my little brother and my mom to keep the ship from sinking in a state with no family or friends near. There were days I know when I only saw her dropping us off and picking us up from sitters. I remember listening to this song over and over on my Walkman, having recorded this song on an old cassette tape from the radio. I don’t know how she did it, but now as a grown man I don’t know if I could have. I would like to thank you Corey Hart for all the darkest times in people’s lives you helped push them through with your voice and a true masterpiece of a song. Because when the night is cold and dark, you can see, you can see light. Cause no one can take away your right , to fight and to never surrender......
You are (or were) not alone my friend. My father left us and our mother when I was just over 1 year old and my sister was a few months old. That doesn’t mean it sucked less, but just know it unfortunately happened to so many. Many of us understand your story and I do hope life is very good for you now.
Right?! He and his lovely wife look & sound wonderful. Mr Hart was inducted into the Canadian Rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame last year (2019) & I couldn’t believe how well he appears. Looks at least 10 years younger than his age. Great to see them happy and healthy. Beautiful family, too.
Beautiful! Hearing this reminds me so much of my battles with depression & hearing the news today of Lisa Marie Presley's son's suicide...how many need this message. Sharing❤
In April of 2016 I was having breakfast with my partner. It started as a typical Saturday morning until suddenly while drinking his coffee he felt pain and turned pail quickly. I rushed him to the hospital, where everything feel into chaos, his aorta had ruptured and they had to rush him into surgery to save his life. The moments before they brought him in, we held hands and told each other how much we loved each other. He didn't survive the operation. I remember leaving the hospital going back to our apartment feeling so broken. For years everything I did reminded me of us. It was such a dark time as I tried to adjust to him being taken away from me. I listened to never surrender so many times as I tried to heal. Over 4 years later I have a new person in my life, somehow I can't help but feel my former partner had a hand in helping me find happiness and love again. I have a new set of hopes and dreams, and a past that I try to honor with every breath that I'm alive.
Thank you for this. I lost the man who raised me to covid last month and I wasn't even able to be at the funeral because I'm high risk. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. Music keeps me going. It gets harder the older I get though. Thank you again for this beautiful song of hope and stay safe. ❤
Mr. Corey Hart... My name is Mike and I am 59 years old now. In my twenties you were pivotal influence and aspiration for me. My life and my world would never have turned out to evolve to be what it has become. I LOVE AND THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR
I was a lost hurting teen when I first heard this anthem. I played your cassette on my walkman every day. Your voice pushed me to carry on, and to me, you've always been the coolest 😎 dude on the planet.
I loved this song back when it was released in 1985, and it has always had a special place in my heart.. This 2020 version and video is simply amazing!! As I have grown and learned many things over the years, I have come to see life as a 'Road' we all walk together.. None of us know where the road ends, we are just all walking it.. Sometimes, we offer a hand of friendship to help others who need a hand get back up and walk.. And sometimes, when we are down, someone offers us a hand so that we can get back up.. Maybe it is a family member, or a friend, or a complete stranger showing kindness.. Sometimes it is an easy walk, and sometimes it is hard, and we are tired and feeling like we have lost our way.. But we get back up and keep walking This Road We Call Life..And we remember that we are ALL in this together, continuing on that road.. Watching Corey Hart walking along a road while his voice resonates brings tears to my eyes every time I watch and listen to this!!! THANK YOU, Corey Hart.. Your music and lyrics have TRULY made a difference for the better in this world!!!
"No one can take away your right to fight... " Love this version so much. Much needed reminder to everyone that we should never surrender despite the challenges we are facing... 🙏🤗❤❤
Corey, I have always want to tell you how this song literally saved my life. I was 14/15 and had a horrible home life and the typical insecurities in Junior High. I had been planning to commit suicide. But this some came out and I used it as my mantra to think of suicide as my mom “winning.” And i didn’t want to surrender to her contempt for me. I wanted to be able to eventually prove her wrong. Thank you. This is my all time favorite song because I owe it my life.
i was in that state as well, until i cried out to God, the heavenly father of the bible when i was 17, changed my life when the holy spirit entered my body. just know, hundreds of millions of christian’s pray for you and love you, and Jesus Christ loves you dearly. God bless ❤️
The very first concert I went to was Boy in the Box. Yrs later, my hubbs took me to the anniversary concert...best ever❤️ ... no surrender ... was my shining light in dark times when I was a kid..thank you forever!
@irwinwesley8297......luv ya bro - 'thank you'. Currently homeless, but......God has entered my life. I've never been happier or felt more at peace. First few months living on the cold harsh streets was brutal (NO sleeping bag - NO winter coat). Right in the middle of winter - right in the middle of the Covid-19 crisis. I'll never forget the kind, loving care of the beautiful folks at the Church of the Redeemer - sharing a hot meal along with a warm, welcoming smile. GOD BLESS US Love & Respect_________mykey from toronto
Oh wow, I'm bawling! I instantly went back in time, to 1985 Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, my Dad bought my sister and I tickets and surprised us! We both had amazing floor seats and cried when you came out on stage! My first big city concert, always in my heart! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us! ❤
As an eighties kid who loved his music then....I still love it!!! Never surrender!!!! BEAUTIFUL! !!! This message is soo appropriate to our Covid19 days!!! Hug those close to you today!! Thank you again Cory Hart!!!!
Thanks man, we all needed this. You have helped me survive when I was alone, walking to work, in Texas. Headphones on, singing along, finding my strength. Your music and calm soul have also helped me stay sober. Corey, pure hearts are hard to find. Rock on bro. ❤️🤘
Many memories bring this song to my mind. 1985, third year of architecture, many sleepless nights in order to complete my presentations. At dawn back to work and repeat the cycle for two more years. The 80's forever.
That is a beautiful rendition of one of my favorite songs from back in the day. All these years later and you STILL managed to outdo yourself. Thanks for bringing it back and perfect timing as I am currently undergoing treatment for Stage III colon cancer. This song gives me a motivation boost. BRAVO and thank you again! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yes they are, and someone who was from my past told me he used to do repair planes in the Gulf war for the military. If even on circuit shows a glimmer of a problem on military planes all the circuits get replaced. Those planes are monitored closer than ones used by the general public.
I was 9 years old when I heard this music. We all have our own challenges and path to cross. This song was always in the back in my head to never surrender during my dark days in life when I have no one run to but to move on slowly one step at a time until things got better. Your song has impacted so many lives including mine. Thank you Corey Hart.
Welcome back Corey , I’m 37 years old from Mexico I discovered you music 7 years ago and I love the feeling your voice gives to each and every single lírica of your songs , unfortunately in Mexico most of people don’t know your work as a musician like me so I can never go to one of you concerts couse you will probably never come to Mexico but thanks for your great voice , keep doing it and never surrender 👍🏻
I was 8 years old listening to this back with my mom on her Record Player she died in 1989 of Cancer and this is one song me and her shared... Thank you... Never Surrender no matter how bad it seems..
Corey, '66' years old, fighting life's challenges, poor health and deep depression reeling from a divorce 5 years ago this week that I didn't want and now dealing w/the COVID-19 virus just trying to survive. Fortunately music is something that I'm turn to repeatedly if for nothing less than a momentary distraction from life. I keep coming back to your remake of your song "Never Surrender" and find myself in tears as I listen intently to the lyrics. The passion that you put into this song is truly is incredible and touches my soul. I thank you for your gift and message in this song. It's refreshing to listen to a song like this where the message is a story to the heart. Thank you for this gift. May God continue to bless your voice... Randy Wilson White Lake/MI
When you mention Corey Hart in the US most everyone thinks of "Sunglasses at Night" but this was my favorite. I just loved the message & the idea of everyone having someone in their life encouraging them. This song was popular when I was in HS & I was glad to have it in my repertoire when going though teenage 'angst.' The great ones stick with you & this one always has. Happy it was given some new life during a troubling time for many.
You know the world has changed from this virus..everything that everyone has been through..from loss of work..loss of loved one's...missing friends..family & so on...but all you have to do is play this song from a music legend in Corey...If you're feeling down & just need a pick me up this song can do it for you..."Never Surrender"..never give up...Thank you Corey for being there when we all need something to make us smile...Your music is that for me & I bet millions of other people all over the world...
I love the fact that in this video you are coming back home. And that is where you had left home in the 80s original version. Love it!!!!! Welcome back Corey!!!
Wow I didn’t realize that and that’s exactly what I did in my life. I ran away from home. I had so much pride and ego. I was hurt and tired of everything so I ran and ran for years. 10 years later I am back again and what has changed is my attitude and perspective. Along with some family and friends and landscape. I felt I needed more opportunities in my hometown so I came back. Things are better and I have never felt better letting go of the past. Forgiving others and especially myself. Love yourself brothers and sisters. That’s truly what started changing me. I wanted to feel better and love myself. Nobody’s opinion matters except your own. You know who you are. You know what you’ve done and where you’ve come from. You make it happen!!!
The first cassette I ever owned as a kid was Corey Hart. That Christmas was one of my most memorable. I really enjoy this new version of the song. It feels like it was meant for me because it describes how I’m feeling right now in my life. “Just a little uncertainty can bring you down”
Guess I'm sailing in a similar boat bro! Confusion, uncertainty and what else not..I go to my music to find peace and hope..and 80s music was really full of that.. My best wishes to you mate!🍻
You mentioned Christmas and I had to share that I have Cory's version of Rudolph the red nose reindeer on my Christmas playlist and a few years ago my youngest son and I were bringing the christmas tree home when that song came on. He loved it and we both sang along. My son said, "he really rocks out on this song." Its a favorite memory of mine.
I received the First Offense cassette tape in 4th grade (mid-80s) as a white elephant gift. Since it was small and inconspicuous, it was the last choice. Little did everyone know, my gift was by far, the best one!
My wife passed away suddenly in my arms on July 16. I'm just a walking shell going through the motions. We both loved this song. Nancy, I miss you and Love You so much.
Happy Birthday to Corey Heart. The best memories of seeing you in concert. I will never forget these times in my darkness in my life. Find way back home.
What a tender and touching reworking of this song! Such a beautiful rendition. Everything old is new again, and very fitting for the days we are living now! HOPE AND PEACE ✌
The last couple of months was hard, I lost my job, nearly cost my spouse and got separated, went into depression, my mother is diabetic and suffered from intense neuropathy and went to the hospital, all my life was showering down in darkness, pain and despair. One day,I knelt down on my knees for gratitude and forgiveness to God and asking for getting my life back. After a few weeks of praying, my spouse called me back wondering how am I feeling, we talked it out and decided to return our married lives, I'm on a new job training, and today my mother was feeling a bit better after surgery. Her pain is reducing from her neuropathy which I'm hopeful that her pain will be gone soon. Seems that God heard my prayers and gave me that chance to have my life again, maybe better one, only God knows, but I'm happy again and I owe God my entire life for reshaping my life back. So today, I came to type my comments to say thank you for this song you've been shared to me and to the world. Because in this trying times, aa good prayer can makes a greater hope and be persistent with all you got because good things will eventually come slowly, but surely. Never surrender, brother!
I grew up in the 80s. I love both versions. The irony of it all. We are not enough, by design by the way. We need to surrender our will and realize we need a Savior. Believe with our whole hearts in the finished work of Jesus Christ. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. He is life. He is the Way, the Truth and Life. God bless. Only Jesus Christ Saves ❤!
To borrow a lyric from another CH song that this video reminds me of: “that beauty flows when I understand simplicity...” Never Surrender has been a personal anthem since 1985. It’s timeless and much needed now as the world is “calling all angels” to ask for healing, especially all who have been impacted by the pandemic, all who seek justice for black people suffering senseless brutality, and all who try to survive daily personal struggles, great or small. This song is also very much a prayer asking the self to find the inner strength to never give up, never lose hope, never surrender. To CH, I hope you and your family are staying healthy and safe. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and healing gift of music once again. It’s a comfort knowing that in our ever-changing world, some things you can always count on to be there and to stay the same. Although you’ve changed some lyrics in this version, the same powerful underlying message shines through. I get the same chills as I do when I listen to the original version. I’m excited that another generation will hear this song because I know it will inspire them to persevere no matter what. With gratitude, Darlene
If you are around Corey's age. You simply get this rendition of our decades gone and where we are today. I left Canada for good in the 80s and never went back. My memories are these words, that voice, and those deep thoughts. We get it. We became a part of you and you lived inside of us all these decades. This is simply perfect for those who lived during that time and are reflecting now. No explanation as we really never left. Your voice reminds us of where we came from and where we are now in life. I get it. Thank you for the mirror so I can see my soul again and to stop and accept like you did your departure to the Bahamas and others of us who went over oceans. Thank you for sealing decades while reminding me all I forgot and for being a benchmark that is engraved in my being.
...I LOVE the original version, but this version is so heart-felt, met with a sincere honesty that speaks to one's soul!!...THANKS so much for uploading this PHENOMENAL GEM!!...Much LOVE and APPRECIATION!!...
I had a rough childhood. I remember singing along on the radio at 8 years old. Classic, and relevant to this day. An indelible song that holds special meaning to me. Thank you.
This song has meant so much to me, pretty much since it came out. This remix/version of it is so beautiful I cried. This song is my anthem, it saved me so many times when I wanted to give up. Thank you Corey for this beautiful gift you have given all of us.
‘No one can take or break your right to fight and never surrender”. Sadly here in the USA, the media and government will sure as hell try. Nice version of a classic tune, great to hear from you again Corey
I was 14 when this song came out and I watched the video on MTV a lot. I am thrilled for Corey's success in and outside the business. Praying for him and his beautiful family.
Corey when I was a lil boy in California and got lost on the wrong school bus your original version of this was playing in the 80's. I never forgot it. Nice to have that comforting voice as a kid feeling lost not knowing how to find my way back...
I was 16 yrs old when I heard this song and have been loving it for over 30 years, it's the very first song whenever I call-in radio station to ask them to play no matter they could find it or not. You and your song encourage me all the 34 years all the time, now my daughter has graduated from college, I still gave her this song many times when she felt sad or struggle in something all through the years, and also my wife, my family, my friends. I don't know you Mr.Corey Hart, but you are always my friend deep inside my heart and the whole life. Just passing by and see the film by random here in the middle of the night in Taiwan, Asia, we still don't know each other actually but appreciate your work and the spirit you gave me. It will be there. never surrender.

Thank you for a beautiful song. I have been struggling with Systemic Lupus since I was 16 years old. It has brought me to my knees many times. 10 years ago I became partially disabled in both my hands due to Ehlers Danlos. My near death experience changed me. Yes never give up even when you feel lost and feel alone. The angels hear you. This song describes my life. Somethings you can’t put into words, but this song explains so much. Thank you. 🙏🏻🌻
My best friend passed away in 1985....u were our favorite singer...artist whatever ...sunglasses at night was our jam..n this song help me when she passed ...thank you for the memories ....bitter sweet but beautiful✨✌💙👍
For those who are having a hard time, whatever it is, hold on to God and the people who really love you ... because, as this beautiful song says, when the night is cold and dark, no one, but absolutely no one, can take away the right to fight and never give up. A hug!!
Wonderful. So lovely to hear this again, all these years later. It has a completely different meaning now. After surviving years and years of struggling through my husband's alcoholism, then his death 3 years ago - I am starting to blossom. Finding my way back home. x

I was 17 years old when this song came out. Going through a very dark time. I listened, and held on to this song...every dark time I went through, this was the song I always went back too. Corey, this is a top 10 song from the 80's my friend hands down. It's always brought me out of my darkest days, darkest times throughout my life and I'm 52 now. Been a fan of yours since 1983 and will be forever. You rock dude, God bless you and thank you for this latest version of a song that will touch anyone if they stop and listen. Been tons of songs over the years but THIS SONG still resonates with me to this day. Live long and prosper my friend and NEVER SURRENDER!
Thanks for all the comments - I'm very touched by your kind words. - Corey Hart
Thanks brother. Needed to hear this today. Be safe.
Bless you, my brother.

Been a fan since the first time I heard Sunglasses at Night on the radio.
Love hearing you sing. Wonderful video
Thanks man came across you again I’m 55 now and my son who is 19 and is on his own journey now, he will need this song one day 😊

My aunt my other mom died last night. ❤ 😢 so much more also. Thank you. I will keep fighting!!!!❤
The music from 80's must come back.
yeah no kidding
It has never gone!
Best decade for music & movies!
Music with actual lyrics instead of repetitive words/beats with no meaning!
I agree man, today's music don't got the same soul, I like an old time rock n roll right? Hahaha
Corey Hart. I would listen to this song every single night before laying my head down to sleep; when I was in Afghanistan. It kept me alive, kept me going, always looking forward to the future. Thank you for keeping my spirits up then and still to this very Day! God Bless you!
Thank you for serving & protecting us🇺🇸
Find hope where you can; what a lesson. Thank you for your service.
Wow that is amazing
yeah man... tell it to the marines... too... God bless you man....

🙏💞
Beautiful words of inspiration ❤️
Geez, I'm crying all over again. I'm getting all my cassettes out tomorrow. I had a zillion posters on my walls. My first love.
Did Corey Hart ♡ my comment?!
That made my year. I was literally sitting crying over a crappy situation today and that made it happy tears.
This man has aged like a fine wine ... Absolutely stunning ❤
Cripes! Does this guy EVER age?! He looks amazing.
He looks better now!!
I was thinking the same thing. I was a fan as a teenager in the 80's and time has been good to him.
Right? My first thought was "Who's this young model he hired to be in his video?"
Seriously! I was a kid when this came out, and I look older than he does now. Time to hit the gym and 'never surrender...'
Your song has kept me alive and going since June 1985. #beheretomorrow
Beautiful! Hearing this reminds me so much of my battles with depression & hearing the news today of Lisa Marie Presley's son's suicide...how many need this message. Sharing❤
Enjoy this as much as the original. Still have the 45 of this song and your 33 album “Boy in the Box”. Let’s just say the 45 has seen better days lol

❤😎 Sorry for your loss. Glad your life is better again.
This song brought me through a lot of pain when I was young. Now this new arrangement comes and I am lifted up yet again. Thank you, Corey Hart. ❤🩹

Watching Corey Hart walking along a road while his voice resonates brings tears to my eyes every time I watch and listen to this!!! THANK YOU, Corey Hart.. Your music and lyrics have TRULY made a difference for the better in this world!!!
Calling all Angels. Beautiful and heartfelt rendition of 'Never Surrender' Corey. Timing is perfect for our world right now. Thank you.
It is what the world needs right now.
Indeed!
Tråkigt för tidigare chef som använde min fars kyrka på ett negativt sätt och från att familjen kommer att hålla sig borta.
Great to hear your incredible voice again.
I’m glad you made it through the bad times .
Amen
🙏🏻🤗
I am sorry you went through that.
i was in that state as well, until i cried out to God, the heavenly father of the bible when i was 17, changed my life when the holy spirit entered my body. just know, hundreds of millions of christian’s pray for you and love you, and Jesus Christ loves you dearly. God bless ❤️
Your song guided me when I was young and lost I followed your voice, and it still leads me to this day Beautiful ...💕
The very first concert I went to was Boy in the Box. Yrs later, my hubbs took me to the anniversary concert...best ever❤️ ... no surrender ... was my shining light in dark times when I was a kid..thank you forever!
I've always loved this song! I remember when it came out in the 80s ❤️❤️❤️
You can't imagine how many times this song has helped me since I was a teenager, I'm now 50 years old.❤
❤
I work with homeless folks in downtown TORONTO and this song uplifts us
Thank you for being a light to those who need a help up ... loving those and asking nothing in return... selfless!
@ Irwin Wesley While the Government fast tracks economic migrants and illegals to housing, puts in in motels and hotels.
Same brother.. I work with homeless vets here in Rochester, NY. Same message applies.
GOD BLESS US
Love & Respect_________mykey from toronto
Beautiful song ! Beautiful voice ! God bless you Corey Hart.
@@coreyhartofficial100 With love😘
Oh wow, I'm bawling! I instantly went back in time, to 1985 Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, my Dad bought my sister and I tickets and surprised us! We both had amazing floor seats and cried when you came out on stage! My first big city concert, always in my heart! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us! ❤
As an eighties kid who loved his music then....I still love it!!! Never surrender!!!! BEAUTIFUL! !!! This message is soo appropriate to our Covid19 days!!! Hug those close to you today!! Thank you again Cory Hart!!!!
...Aussi...j'aimerais dire que je suis de Montréal aussi Cory...on etais (les annee 80) et on est encore fier de notre frere Montrealais! !!!
Like a fine wine this song has aged very well.
My God...I remember growing up with this....still as amazing now as then. Thank you, sir!
❤️Never give up
Surrender only to God⏳
I am so moved by the beautiful arrangement of your song Corey! These words are more important than ever, now~~~
Yes they are, and someone who was from my past told me he used to do repair planes in the Gulf war for the military. If even on circuit shows a glimmer of a problem on military planes all the circuits get replaced. Those planes are monitored closer than ones used by the general public.
Battled alcohol for more than 20 years. I’ve been sober for over years with my family’s help and the Vivatrol shot. Thank you Cory
COREY- WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.WITH ALL THE COMMENTS-IT SHOWS THAT YOU ARE LOVED AND APPRECIATED.GREAT JOB COREY..
One of the best...it makes me cry...i really love this song. From philippines here. We love you 💓💓💓
❤❤❤
The world needs to be reminded of this message right now. Thank you CH!
Hi Corey....just you need say "thank jesus", you song say the you hart a big hug
Mr. Hart...I have been listening to you since I was a teen in the 80's. And never have you sounded so good! May you be blessed!
I love you then, I still love you now. I’ll never surrender.
Thank you Corey Hart for RE~releasing the beautiful " NEVER SURRENDER" 35 years later!Your voice is still beautiful!
I graduated in the 80’s and this & sunglasses at night were my all time Favorite songs ever....♥️
Corey,
'66' years old, fighting life's challenges, poor health and deep depression reeling from a divorce 5 years ago this week that I didn't want and now dealing w/the COVID-19 virus just trying to survive.

Tråkigt för tidigare chef som använde min fars kyrka på ett negativt sätt och från att familjen kommer att hålla sig borta.
High school days. . . Thank you for reviving this song.
This song has seen me through a lot of tough days. Thank you
God Bless you Corey Hart.....This is Americas new theme song for 2024......we are on our way back to making our country great again.
I just got to say your voice, your presence still Beautiful..
So simple, so perfect, exactly the message I needed to hear today!
Me too🙂
Loved that song in the 80s. Great talent
True but if you look at the new lyrics, it sounds like a man coming home to God. He never surrendered to the world but decides to surrender to God.
Corey Hart was one of the most underrated vocal artists of his decade. Much love.
@@bohemianabyss6419 Thanks and you too bro!
I remember listening to this on 45 record as a kid and my father in the background singing never surrender. RIP.
❤️
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED COREY HART. MY HUSBAND AND I REALLY ENJOY HIS MUSIC.HE'S UNDERRATED AND SHOULD BE CLASSIFIED AS ONE OF THE BEST.HE DESERVES IT..
I'm 16 and I really like the 80s song I hoped this music back in a future
I grew up in the 80s. I love both versions. The irony of it all. We are not enough, by design by the way. We need to surrender our will and realize we need a Savior. Believe with our whole hearts in the finished work of Jesus Christ. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. He is life. He is the Way, the Truth and Life. God bless. Only Jesus Christ Saves ❤!
❤ ❤
To borrow a lyric from another CH song that this video reminds me of: “that beauty flows when I understand simplicity...”
Never Surrender has been a personal anthem since 1985.
With gratitude,
Darlene
"With a little perseverance, you can get things done"
One of the most motivating lines heard in a song.
‘No one can take or break your right to fight and never surrender”. Sadly here in the USA, the media and government will sure as hell try. Nice version of a classic tune, great to hear from you again Corey
Stay home and stay healthy.
Great song that helps my depression go away.
I was 14 when this song came out and I watched the video on MTV a lot. I am thrilled for Corey's success in and outside the business. Praying for him and his beautiful family.
I love Corey Hart brings me back to the 80s high school days I would love to see him in person pray it comes someday soon
COREY, THANKS FOR THIS LOVELY NEW VERSION, I LOVED IT!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
THE FIRST TIME I HEARD NEVER SURRENDER, I WAS A 12 YEAR OLD EX CHANGE MEXICAN SPENDING A WHOLE SUMMER IN CALGARY ALBERTA AWAY FROM HOME, AWAY FROM FAMILY, I DIDN'T KNOW ENGLISH, AND NEVER SURRENDER WAS THE FIRST SONG I COULD FULLY UNDERSTAND, ,PLUS IT WAS PERFECT FOR ME, AND SINCE THAN, THIS SONG HAS BEEN MY COMPANION THROUGHOUT MANY HARD TIMES.
THANK YOU FOR THIS, MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING, ON JUNE 25TH, I'LL BE 46, AND I FEEL THIS AS A PRE GIFT, SO PERFECT!
THANK YOU COREY HEART!
LOVE FROM MEXICO!

One of my fave song of CH. So famous during 80's🎶🎸👍
So good to hear this song again, even after 30 years, this song is so uplifting in its acoustic style.
Thank you Corey, very deep and heartfelt. Big hug to you, because we can all use a hug these days.
I think Corey Hart was always an underrated singer. Talented individual. Glad to see he is still sharing his talent. God Bless.
For those who are having a hard time, whatever it is, hold on to God and the people who really love you ... because, as this beautiful song says, when the night is cold and dark, no one, but absolutely no one, can take away the right to fight and never give up. A hug!!
Time is all we are asking for!!! Never Surrender never let go of hope Corey is awesome love his songs love his voice
Wonderful. So lovely to hear this again, all these years later. It has a completely different meaning now. After surviving years and years of struggling through my husband's alcoholism, then his death 3 years ago - I am starting to blossom. Finding my way back home. x
( Oh I finally did it I stop 😭 crying after listening over and over again Artists always know the right words to sing, beautiful song.

Tråkigt för tidigare chef som använde min fars kyrka på ett negativt sätt och från att familjen kommer att hålla sig borta.
I loved this song growing up as a teenager. This song has helped me get through some tougfh times in my life. Just beatiful and such a talented soul. Thank you for this beatiful version.
