Hi, guys. I've found your video from a post on Facebook. I never thought Google already had something like this. And this is a very good tutorial. Normally, 25-minute videos are boring, but yours aren't. Thanks for the video. I even stopped the ad-blocker in order to watch ads to monetize this video. :D
This was the most educational video I've seen a long time. I use jamboard all the time but in just a few minutes I've learned so many new and exciting ways to use it with my students, not to mention amazing time-saving tips. Thank you so much guys!!!!!
This video was very informative. It gave step-by-step instructions on how I can create quizzes for my students using all subject areas, which is extremely helpful as an elementary teacher. Thanks MobyMax!
Wow~ Jamboard is a really attractive and useful tool. I made 3 types of classes to use Jamboard for Korean teachers. I'm also introducing how and when teachers can use Jamboard and Google Slides Presentation for the class composition and environment. Please keep up the wonderful work for teachers around the globe.😀😁😃👍👍👍
I really appreciate for your so kind and perfect video for comprehending Jamboard. I'm going to make a little hard choice between google presentation and jamboard depending on the students' activity. Currently, jamboard is best for realize the same function of bulletin board(Padlet) and teacher-centered instruction drawing(Keep and MS Onenote's drawing).

Hello Sam! I greatly appreciate this more in-depth guide. Aside from using pen tools or touch screens, how else can a high school Math teacher incorporate more complicated symbols in Jamboard? I just find my scribbled formula messy sometimes so I have to ask. Have you tried using EquatiO with Jamboard?
You can! In fact I show how to use EquatiO with Jamboard in this other video (I time stamped it to the exact part): ruclips.net/video/S9m4HCjOkcA/видео.html
A GIF is called a jiff, not a ghiff, a jiff, it's a jiff! But hey, awesome video, you guys did a great job of going over all the features clearly and very visually engaging : )
This was a great resource! I am looking to use Jamboard as a resource for teachers in a professional development setting. Is there a video specifically geared towards that?
Thank you! I'm not aware of a video about how to use it for PD, though you can use some of the ideas in this video as a way to demo for teachers how it works.
Love Jamboard and all your ideas. HOWEVER, it frustrates me that my 8th graders can edit/erase all the great ideas other kids post. I basically screen shot the Jamboards as a class leaves so I can embed on a Slide later to have kids refer to. Is there an update coming out that will ONLY ALLOW kids to delete their own post, and not mess with others'?
Hello - I love Jamboard and I love your videos. Question- when we make stickies on Jamboard sometimes the font is huge, sometimes it is small, and other times it "runs off" of the sticky. Are there any tricks to fixing these hiccups? Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
Hi Theresa, I know, that happens to me too. I'm not aware of a way to set a default size so this doesn't happen. I end up just needing to manually adjust the size
That's true, which is why you might want to use it for more of the small group or individual assignments as opposed to whole class activities if that's an issue.
Hi. I was tasked to make a virtual "Thinking Wall" for our students where they can post questions and their classmates will be able to answer them. I don't want my students to mess up a frame in the Jamboard, so I am thinking of using the Padlet. However, there is a limited number of Padlets I can create. I hope you can help me choose the best app for that. Thank you.
Hi Chaira, Yeah, I would definitely use Padlet for that purpose over Jamboard. Especially because Jamboard doesn't really have a comment function, whereas Padlet does. You can just archive old Padlet boards, which won't delete them, but will open up new space.
This was so helpful. I am wondering how to take parts of one jamboard and put it into another jamboard. I see that you can save it as a PDF and copy it in as a background, but what if you want a pile of sticky notes that need to be moved around or other elements to be able to be moved in the new board? I tutor in reading, and my readers arrive at different concepts at different times. I would love to be able to put parts of one student's lesson into another student's board.
Love Jamboard for Home Learning. I would love to know which student is doing what, particularly when there’s always one who decides to misbehave and draw over it instead of listening. Any news about that from the developers?
This was amazing. Thank you! Can I ask what software you use to video yourself and insert yourself into your videos so you are standing in the video? Where do you get the special background behind yourself, as well? Thank you!
We used a green screen and an app called Screenflow so we are in front of the slides. It’s not an easy app to learn though. You can use Loom if you want your camera to be a circle. Loom is free to teachers and is simple to use.
Great Presentation! I was unclear about one thing however. On the interactive notebook piece, is the first downloaded document assigned as view only, if so, how are the students able to edit it? Each additional sheet will somehow come together with the preceding ones to form a notebook????
This may be want you want to do>>>You should share the jamboard link as editable by anyone that has the link instead of default, view only. Find that in link settings. The whole jam board must be view only or editable, I may not make one frame view only and the following frames. As far as I know😀
Thanks, Alfreda! The purpose of posting the view only document is so students can copy and paste those pages into their own notebook. I explain this in greater detail in this other video: ruclips.net/video/VH2dOJi7-3Y/видео.html

I don't know for certain, but my understanding is that you can't currently embed a Jamboard directly into Canvas. Will that change? Hopefully! You should still be able to have students click the link out to Jamboard to access it though.
Trying to get into using jamboards. I was wondering how to assign each group a jam while in breakout rooms using Zoom. My learning management is Canvas. Help! Thx millions!
I teach HS math so I am looking for some way to assess students as they practice a problem during the lesson. Am I able to switch from individual student to student in jamboard to see their work in real time or am I only able to look at their work as an "assignment"?
I want to give my 1st graders access to a jamboard I created. I changed the settings to restricted and added my student emails. I also set the share permission to editor. By sharing it this way with my students, will I be able to change the share permission to viewer for everyone at the same time or will I have to change each student email to viewer one at a time?
Unfortunately you'll have to change access one at a time (as far as I can tell, I've been playing around with it to see if there's a better way, but haven't found one so far). Best of luck!
