GAME CHANGER! I didn't know that Loom allowed you to edit your recordings. I have been redoing an entire lesson! Thanks! Equatio will have a learning curve if using voice, your example was NOT what they typed, but I hope this will help in middle school math when I create assignments. Great extensions that will make my life easier in the classroom.
I recently discovered your channel, and I must say it's the best teacher's corner on youtube for teaching with technology. Thanks to you my EFL lessons are more interactive and engaging. Plus, I loved the extensity extension! I didn't know such a thing even existed. Thank you so much!
My example for the 2nd extension wasn't a good one as you currently aren't allowed to be in multiple breakout rooms at once. A better example would have been to open multiple Google Meet meetings in separate tabs as a way to monitor separate rooms. Hopefully that changes soon in Zoom, and sorry for any confusion!
Great video, and I especially appreciate that you have listed all of the extensions in the description below the video so I didn’t have to rewind to find the ones that I want to use. I’m a subscriber to your channel, and I always find something useful in your videos.

Always such great advice! Can you explain how you set up your breakout rooms in different tabs? When I'm on zoom I can only view one breakout room at a time, but seeing them all at once would be super convenient.
Hi Leslie, here's an article from Zoom about being in multiple room at once. In short, I gave a bad example here and should have used Google Meet when showing this since you can launch several Meet meetings at once: support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360001120743-Joining-multiple-meetings-simultaneously-on-desktop
thank you. I looked through the post, I dont wanr to send students to different meetings so I guess I'll have to cross my fingers and hope that zoom modifies their breakout feature to be more like Google meets. I did however show it to our administrative team and they immediately saw value in it. So thank you so much. You and so knowledgeable and helpful. Your videos have made virtual teaching so much more interesting and manageable for me and my students.
It is like a treasure box. Thank you sooo much Sam and keep going. I would like to know how did you put that loomie avatar in the video together with the lesson? You mentioned that you explained in one of the videos but I didn't manage to locate it.
I really appreciate your efforts 👌 Please let me know if extensions make slow Browsers 🐌? Then your suggested extension is extensity. Isn't it? And I found that the pined extensions also make Browsers 🐌 slowe too. Am I Wright?
Yeah having a lot of extensions can use up more memory on your computer which could slow it down. Having extensify will allow you to choose which ones are active so they aren't all on at the same time.
awesome video as always Sam.. I follow almost all of your tips on this channel. would you please make some tips for google form extension that most teachers need, it will be very helpful. thank you so much, have a good day
Hi Sam. Thanks you for all of your suggestions to help make our lives easier. I have also taken your course and it is awesome. I have a question about slides. Is there an extension that will let you draw on a slide as you are presenting? I currently use the scribble tool and just make the slide larger - not very smooth when I'm delivering instruction.

Thank you for sharing some Google chrome extensions. I had done some preliminary research for tech tools, but most of these were new to me. I have a questions regarding the math extension equatIO. Is this an app in which students can also speak equations into a google doc? I can see it being helpful when students are providing answers via a google doc.
Equatio does have that feature but not sure if it's a paid feature or not for students (all features are free for teachers). You can see more of Equatio's updated features in this video - ruclips.net/video/sh_QPnY9H8Y/видео.html
Wow! Great tools! Thank u so much for sharing. I have a question. Is it possible to use two extensions at the same time? For example, I want to record my screen using loom and web paint at the same time.
Hey Jijish! If you upload a video to RUclips, it will automatically create captions for you which is nice. You can go in and edit them since they won't be perfect because it's done by a computer. You can learn more about it here - ruclips.net/video/rB9ql0L0cUQ/видео.html
Hey! General google question -- how do I back up my school google drive files and docs to my personal google? For when my school changes over to exclusively use the DOE email and google drive instead of the school name google drive we have been using for years. I have already shared the drive with my personal google, but must I open every folder and make a copy of every doc to my personal so I am able to access it once this school drive is gone? So. much. work! Thanks :)
Hey Andrea! Use Google Takeout. You'll be able to use it to create zip files of all your Drive folders and then have them sent to you. Make sure you add all files that were created in shared organizational folders to your actual Drive, though, otherwise they won't get pulled out.

Is there any extension for timer ? Also, I would like to highlight an issue of using Kami is, if we are using this to do paper correction & on the other side, if students have it installed (both stakeholders using the same email domain), they will be able to see our live correction even before we release their scripts!
