Flat is an add -on that is helpful for music teachers. You can create short musical examples on a staff and insert them directly onto your slide! Thanks for all the other suggestions! I look forward to watching some of your other videos to go into more depth on some of these add ons.

I have been using Pear Deck on Google Slides with my students during Remote Learning. I work with elementary students-the youngest students are in 2nd grade. They are all able to connect to Pear Deck, and it definitely helps to make lessons a lot more interactive and engaging for my students at home.

Love all the tutorials learning so much. How do you choose between using for example Nearpod, or Peardeck, and then also deciding whether to use it as an add-on? It's a bit overwhelming, but exciting too.
Thanks, Judy! In general I lean toward Nearpod these days because it has so many high quality content integrations and pre-built lessons, plus a wide-array of interactivity functions. Pear Deck is best for adding quick checks for understanding to slides you've already made, in my opinion.
@@NewEdTechClassroom How do you get nearpod to work for the kids without them having a gmail account? and also how do we share the nearpod screen for the students at the same time as on zoom?
Luckily, I used Nearpod before the Pandemic. The Add on makes it so much easier to edit your presentations. The best thing is that you are instantly engaging all students and they play videos on their devices so you do not need worry about screen sharing a video

Love all the tutorials learning so much. How do you choose between using for example Nearpod, or Peardeck, and then also deciding whether to use it as an add-on? It's a bit overwhelming, but exciting too.
Thanks, Judy! In general I lean toward Nearpod these days because it has so many high quality content integrations and pre-built lessons, plus a wide-array of interactivity functions. Pear Deck is best for adding quick checks for understanding to slides you've already made, in my opinion.
@@NewEdTechClassroom How do you get nearpod to work for the kids without them having a gmail account? and also how do we share the nearpod screen for the students at the same time as on zoom?

Luckily, I used Nearpod before the Pandemic. The Add on makes it so much easier to edit your presentations.
The best thing is that you are instantly engaging all students and they play videos on their devices so you do not need worry about screen sharing a video
