Thank you so much for doing these videos. I am 1 month new to dcs and went all in on a vr pit choosing the f18 as my first to learn on. Your videos are the only ones I can flow and grasp. Thanks again.
These tutorials are awesome!! Just bought the F-18 and F-14 together a few days ago and the in-game tutorials are lower than gravel quality. You've filled in all the gaps so far and I'm still watching to learn more. Thanks for the time putting all these together, and thank you for inserting the updates as they become available. This is a ton of work that you've done for the community. (BTW, your other videos are all awesome as well showing there is much more to the game than the "milsim" aspect of it... great fun and again, thank you so much Cap and GR!!)
Very useful @Grim Reapers. Boy. You guys really know your modules. I just bought the FA 18 after becoming moderately familiar with the A-10C. I will say the A-10C is a little steeper of a learning curve and way more buttons and switches imo. Anyways I was going through training for TACAN ADF & The instructor or programming was just buggy and I kept having to start the simulation over and I was still getting no more information when I was trying to press TCN and then 67X it just would not take my input until I watched your video I was in a foul mood. Just having someone to lay this ugly bag of snakes out straight for me is delightful. “Hold the ON OFF button, sometimes that’s the issue.” 🤣 🤪 Thx Cap!
Whenever my training instructor gets weird and sometimes won’t cue in or talk until I do something or complete a step and I’m lost and have to start training all over, I just say toss it and I come look at your videos! Keep it up!

@@grimreapers I don't think heading of the carrier and tacan code are the same thing mate. But there are plenty of answers in other comments. Also take in consideration that the "runway" on the carrier is in an angle agording to other comments 10° or so. 😊 happy flying
Bryce Chetwynd if I am not mistakenly, the 348 is referring to the tacan’s radial showing the direction of the carrier which is not the carrier’s runway direction that happen to be aprox., 12-14 degrees less that the actual dirección of the carrier.

@3:22 "The exact cours of this runways is 348 magnetic" , where do i get this info ? and also thanks for all the tutorials =)
go into the map (f10) and click on your cv, then you can see in the left corner the information bearing. Thats the number you need :)
