@@god0fgames100 easy. It’s big brother, people are obsessed by the idea of the government watching them, that someone else knows what they are doing. That people are listening in, that Alexa is adding random items to our shopping just because they’ve heard us mention a product we’ve seen.
Yet hear we are. We’re not watching the latest must see TV show, we’re watching someone else watch it.
We’re using technology to do the very thing we don’t want others doing to us.
Why else would we have “Private Browsing”? Why delete cookies?
The philosophical point is, it’s the ultimate, eternal state.
We watch people watching tv, so build that. The next level is watching people who are watching other people watch tv… it becomes an infinite pattern that leads us back to one thing. Watching TV.

It is funny how these people are the loud minority for both sides. I get this same treatment from iPhone users. Like I will be just sitting there existing, I pull out my Samsung, then all of a sudden!!! "Why dont you switch to iPhone already? Disgusting, you show up as the green bubble in Messages. You should get an iPod just so we can face time. We can play games in our messages can you do that?", it is that and soooo many more.

I mean the Apple fanboyism is worse in many ways. And wouldn't you laugh at someone who spent more than a months rent on a phone that still falls behind Android in features?
@ToxicRakyat Dunno what you're trying to say with "efficiency" because that is a broad term for a lot of things. Performance per € is on average way worse on an iphone than on most android phones. Camera Technology i can't really talk about because that's not important to me, therefore i didn't bother to check in the past and am not going to start a spreadsheet just for a yt comment and longevity of the iphone and their batteries is a fucking joke.
While i agree that both Android and Apple devices do have their pros and cons, if you pull from the same price pool (within 5% because well, not everything has the exact same price) Android outshines Apple by a lot because of the different manufacturers who compete with one another, while Apple just jacks up prices with their iOS monopoly.
@ToxicRakyat You’re right about longevity with iPhone. Yeah it’s all cool to have a phone that lasts longer than an iPhone. In my life I’ve had up to 4 iPhones and about 6 Androids varying from the Samsung S line and HTC One line. Major difference and this difference has been consistent with every android phone I’ve had is that you can’t enjoy games for more than a month or two because after that it just becomes a nuclear reactor in your pocket when you come off a game or after spending a lot of time on a big app like youtube. Where as currently I own an iPhone XR and have had it for three and a half years. No damage, doesn’t heat up, battery health is only at 90% so I don’t even have to replace the battery yet. I have 4 big games on my phone that I play competitively as well.

Personally I've never heard anyone anywhere bragging about Android. It's a utilitarian daily driver. Wanting the version update, yes. But bragging about the OS itself? Nahh never.
