1974 is the year Roy's last son Alex (Orbi) Orbison was born. Just an unbelievable voice!!! And a super sweet, kind man!! There's dome great pics of Roy!! To sad no one is running this channel anymore. Seems Marty Sinclear, who started the channel has passed away. Or that's what I've gathered from posts on other videos from this channel.
Others listening to this. Use your imagination to her the beauty beyond the poor recording. And you may appreciate it is a gem, like your in the rear of stage listening live. // Roy had his heart attack 4 years later in 1978. We were blessed to have him another 10 years after that, till 1988.
think this one has been recorded from a mic in the crowd this was on tv in melbourne and the music and voice where spot on as i recorded it if ive still got it on a reel to reel taken from tv and ill post it . cheers Carl
PHOTOS! I am very interested in obtaining any photos that might be out there of the Adelaide concert as I was the Trumpet player and have nothing to show for it except great memories (obviously no smartphones etc in those days). Musicians Union ruled that all touring international concerts had to be appx 50% Australian content, either as a support act or as band members of the main act. So Roy picked up a horn section in Adelaide and I was fortunate enough to get the gig. I think it happened again about a year later so I'm also very interested in any pics of that one too.
i would love a good copy of this or would like to bye this not many people will share the BIG O stuff i don't know why becauce we'll never rememer him if we can't lisen to his great music

I do the same. I search the internet for any information or pictures I can find of Roy. He's beyond wonderful!!!
I was there that nite . He had an incomparable live presence with just his voice .No bells or whistles .Never have forgotten that special time .🙏✌❤
