Love mine. It’s my go to lens. I take about 90% of my shots with it.
My 12-40 2.8 Pro and 40-150 2.8 Pro are without doubt my 'go to' lenses and ones that exude quality.
Just ordered one - can’t wait,
Use it for a long time … fantastic lens … would be nice if there will be a new upgraded edition . I agree with Robin Wong for the f4 version coming OMDS could have changed the focal length a bit to make it more attractive against the competition. The 150-400 Pro can be presented and sold more aggressively by sending teams with 3 bodies and lenses to African NP’s . Like Robin Wong states : Let’s do this !
That Manual Focus Cluth KILLED me on my first shoot I used it on. I didn't know it was a thing and it got engaged and I couldn't figure out why my lens wasn't auto focusing! Luckily it was just on a tripod filming an event, so manual was fine, but it was a live stream with a former Vice President and I was freaking out!
Now I know how it works though thanks to your video!

Hi, does the lens hood detach to enable you to fit say 10 stop filters? TIA
On your website it says that the focusing distane is 70cm?
As much as I love mine, it took me 5 weeks and purchasing another one after breaking the first, before I learned how to extend and push down on the hood. Your example is not my experience. You've heard this for years from photographers and yet it remains the frail piece that it is.
