    The base trim LE is all I need because I don't want to be stuck with the Direct Injection and the electrically powered variable valve timing. Thank you for reviewing such trim sir!

    • @0latency
      @0latency 2 года назад +2

      The 2.0 engine is both port and direct injected, it's reliable. I have a 2019 Corolla hatchback with the 2.0, no issues. It gets better mpg than the 2015 I had with port injected 1.8. The bigger displacement helps with mpg on the freeway, it doesn't get as stressed

      Toyota is smart enough to include a port injector as well as the direct injector,that way your valves don't carbon up.The spray from the port injector washes the valves.

    The front seats have under seat vents which push air-conditioned air to the back seats. So it's not as bad as it looks. Also rear legroom is a problem if you're tall and your passengers are tall. My whole family had no problem fitting in a 2021 Corolla LE. You seem to be quite tall though, Mike.

    I've had 3 Corollas. Two LE's and one SE. The LE variants were great for basic transportation, they weren't fun to drive or anything; but then again who gets a Corolla for the driving experience? I'm considering getting a '22 LE and upgrading to the LE convenience package and the frameless mirror with HomeLink.
