I feel a LITTLE bad because he probably got caught up in how his family looks from the outside and trying to look like a God honoring family in every aspect, so to have a child do something like this is a shot to that end. But He has to realize he’s not perfect. That being said I will admit I’ve been through traumatic events and literally blocked things out. I’ve seen evidence of the trauma( I’m disabled since birth so thankfully I was never physically abused) but I’ve seen like cards etc and I was apparently fully conscious but I have no memory. I’ve seen other things non medical related I was on the sidelines watching and I blocked those out too. So it’s possible he really doesn’t recall. Idk only God knows his heart. Either way we are called to extend grace and love to all. Like Jesus did on the cross. Hopefully those in the family who are blinded will one day see the truth and repent. The real crime is Jim Bob's hair. All i know is if my daughter was abused, i wouldn't ever forget it.
