Is the down pipe the only exhaust mod you have? also how much quieter is it when you’re in like comfort mode with all the valves closed. I have a 16’ S3 and I want to get tuned but I might as well just go stage two with a downpipe but I’m afraid it’s just gonna be obnoxious because I do use the car to drive my grandma around for appointments and what not. I have a stg 2 with a cts dp paired to a stock resonator and stock muffler. It's not loud at all in the cabin. I'm actually going to put a resonator delete on
@@SIMPLB9 not always i can not tell you outright but if you unplugged the grey cable just north of your battery that leads to the downpipe it'll never throw the CEL for that again xD i can neither confirm nor deny this helping or not helping but thats an option you have
@@SaucyGarageI'm about to upgrade to a s3 but what I did to my GTI is I went to O'Reilly's and got a non fouled spark plug. Screwed it into the dp then the O2 sensor. Never got an engine light 6$ fix.

Yes u have to take drive shaft off either way
