i'm thinking its something similar to its breaching form, just way more realistic and of course way creepier.
its also nice to think that that *is* melting love's containment form, filter or not. it uses that aesthetically appealing form to lure you in and grant you "her" adoration, only to turn you into a mindless minion in the end. its not surprising for an aleph to do so, especially thinking that nothing there literally uses the skin of your employees for camouflage.

If I recall correctly the gift also has a special effect. When you're also wearing the armor, it will create a red shield whenever you take more than 10 damage.

Sometimes something odd occurs with melting love, it happened some times with me. If you neglect her for too long, sometimes she will enter other containement cells from the same departament. Idk if that's a bug, but it happened a few times with me.

I think the best way to deal with the slime is having one specific agent only working on her, and never let him go back to the main area to regen, try other methods like the music box to keep him sane and just roam around usually empy hallways

Melting Love spawned in bottom part of my center command hall.
Which means I can just let the bottom part be destroyed, then deal with all blobs when (or even until) they reach upper part.

It is starting to become more a ressource management game than a survival/factory building game
Cancer SCP. When you have her you have 2 choices:
1. Play a couple of days, realize it's impossible to progress further and start from day 1.
2. Start from day 1 immediately so you save yourself some time.
Managing her is as hard as putting toothpaste back inside its tube. Not only that but suppression doesn't grant you many PE boxes, so she's essentially a useless Aleph.
One thing I discovered regarding Melting Love. If it's breaking out during a meltdown, send it a level 1 Newbie with Prudence less than Fortitude. They immediately go insane and I use other employees with white weapons to knock some sense back into them. They aren't infected.

@@withergamer4885, I don't recall. Thing was I did not have Sniper or execution bullets so I never researched Melting Love and left it alone. I could not see the counter. Only time Melting Love was a threat was during meltdowns, and the level 1 newbie kept it from ever escaping.

@@withergamer4885 I actually tried the same trick on Silent Orchestra and the worker committed suicide. I recall employees handle panic differently depending on their stats. Not sure which one was important. Or maybe no other employees got to him in time to restore his sanity. Not exactly sure what happened other than the employee committed suicide and all the clerks in the department immediately fell over dead. Amazing what happens in this game.

Weirdly enough I haven't seen any Rule 34 of this one yet.
But instead of Nothing There, Freischütz and Red
I found a pretty cool way on how to work with Melting Love without having to worry about employees being infected and turning into slime blobs:
Step 1: In deployment phase, only put a single employee to the department where ML is located or during the management phase, move any other agents that are in that department manually into another department.
Step 2: GET RID OF ALL CLERKS
If you have them, use the execution bullets on all of the clerks that wander in the department. It prevents any clerks being infected and turning into slimes, without running the risk of making abnormalities that react to deaths breach.
(for example mountain of smiling bodies or big bird)
Step 3: Now that the agent is completely alone, work with Melting Love without having to worry about anything!

I just got Mountain of Smiling Bodies, Nothing There, Army in Black and now Melting Love on my 23th day in game, just bought this game and still learning to manage stuffs but it hit me damn hard.

Something very important that I didn't see anyone talking about just yet: The Managerial tip 7 is severely misleading. It says "If less then 24 PE boxes are produced, every *D-03-109-2 MAY* transform into [redacted].". "May" implies they might or might not, but that's not exactly what happens. If less then 24 boxes are produced, *_there is a chance_* that everyone infected, INCLUDING D-03-109-1, (not only D-03-109-2, as the managerial tip implies), will transform into the smaller slime. What this means is: If you are training an employee to do insight work with the slime girl, they *_have a chance_* to transform into slime if they produce less than 24 boxes. (probably 50%, haven't done enough tests to confirm this though) And as they are considered "dead" when they transform, Melting Love will also breach. I don't know if this is something that got lost in translation, or if the devs just made it misleading accidentally, but beware of that.

i feel like lobotomy corporation is too scared to do crossover trials [examples from the SCP foundation: SCP-096 and 682, 096 and 173 etc] but if they would, they could learn alot more about the abnormalities and their behavior with other abnormals

@@battlestorm7655 idk if it would be that decisive. Lobotomy's abnormalities are each effectively immortal. No matter how hard you fight them, you can only hope to get them back in their cell. Also, there are some fucking *heavy* hitters in the Aleph class of Lobo Corp. WhiteKnight and Bluestar come to mind, the former basically being a god and the second a sentient black hole.
Don't get me wrong, SCP would probs win, but I don't think "fucking annihilated" does Lobo Corp enough credit.

as well as scp 173. the infamous necksnapping statue. will also not be able to find you. or any other scp for that matter
some of the things lobo corp has heavily counter the sup's that seek like a bloodhound or put a mark on them. perhaps even using the singing machine to enchant one of the scp's to turn them against one another and throw that one in (might cause some major damage later but hey)
Not to mention as you said 2 godlike beings. Melting love before perishing can turn SCP's into her minions. Queen bee form a distance can turn them into drones. etc. etc etc. Punishing bird can potentially oneshot something. And lets not forget, what would happen if the undying Crocodile actually falls into the singing machine, or it manages to wander into we can change this? it will be stuck forever providing unlimited power!!
Lobo corp has many cunning things. Also Our WAW friend Hood (lets hope the wolf isn't there) will be a great help as well in battling many of these creatures as she is ranged most of the time

I know there is a point where you can choose abnormalities but they dont show up right away, think its towards the 30 days if that's where you're at. Otherwise not sure, have had that happen anywhere else...

That's definitely right then, there is a way to verify files to make sure something didnt get deleted randomly, but I generally remove completely and redownload/install if that happens. Still learning PC things as I'd been out of the PC world for a decade until this March x.x
