I think when some viewers ask what type pencil you are using they want to know 2B, HB, 9B etc, not the manufacturer brand name. Maybe it’s just me.
I do agree I started drawing and I use 2 types of pencils graphite and sketch and both are HB

I got a question. So I like to draw and doodle things and lately I've been trying to hone in on realistic looking things (just been drawling things infront of me).I drawl with on a number 2 pencil and an eraser. I hit a brick wall when it comes to fabric specifically a napkin. I came across this video and noticed the use of different pencils and the look they give on paper. My question is for someone like me, a beginner not sure about types and kinds, what kind of beginner pencil numbers or types brand specific that I should get and experiment with to get started into fabrics and shading so I can get a feel for them and see what I can do and get a better look for, while also not going crazy on costs.Im located in upstate NY so I have access to Walmart,Hobby Lobby, ACMoore, if anyone knows other stores too close to Latham NY.THanks so much.Sorry about the rambling
Hi Amber, if you're looking for something affordable then try any local brand that offers a range of different shades but if you're willing to invest in some quality product that might help you in the long run then i'll suggest you purchase faber castell pencils, they're really good. Good luck 👍🏻

This is supposed to be a beginners tutorial step by step, yet you sped up the video assuming as beginners we know how to draw folds. This is not a great tutorial for beginners. If you do another, can you please keep it at real time to help us beginners know what to do?
