- I finally tried Shea Moisture’s Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Collection! This line had all the hype so I wanted to see what is was all about for myself. Watch the video to see what I thought about it ♡

Okay one thing I love about the shes moisture it tells u what product is helpful for ur hair the intense shampoo and conditioner line is only for 4A 4B and 4C and that's because our hair need more moisturizer and I LOVE IT GUYS ITS AMAZING and I have 4A and 4B and my hair feels so nice and healthy and finish it off with extra virgin coconut oil and permanent oil
It kinds of defeats the purpose to blow dry your hair. Most people want to use this to avoid heat.
I don’t mind blow drying my hair . To each their own
I personally love this line. I’m pretty sure it’s recommended to put the hair masque right after you shampoo & then go in with the conditioner because after you shampoo whatever you put into your hair it will absorb most. You should also try to apply the shampoo wet. I’m sure you wouldn’t have to apply so much product. Good video overall though ☺️

Also didn't see you wash twice. I usually get waayy more lather on the 2nd wash without adding so much shampoo. Pretty much a pre-wash to the real wash.
now seeing this and did not expect you to blow dry your hair, try again.
With buying natural hair products you have to know you hair and know your porosity in order to purchase the right line especially from Shea Moisture
For sure but even though I do know those things some products still don’t seem to work. It’s hit or miss sometimes

@@RayanneSamantha blow dried hair is "straightened"....curling/twisting cream "curls it up" or at least changes the straight to curl up...right??? Why blow dry it is all we're saying....

I love this line - This is made for high porosity hair. I had a sew in for months & this line immediately restored & retained moisture for my hair & scalp. This is THE BEST line from Shea Moisture for my 4c high porosity hair.
It appears that the author of this video seems like she may have low-medium porosity.
I asked experts and dermatologist a out the hair mask, it has hydrolyzed rice protein as ingredient no 15, they told me it isn't a big amount of protein and that it wont cause protein overload in low porosity girls and that probably it is in a persent of 1 or less, so it wouldn't be a big deal for low porosity, of course it should be used with loderation
I have low porosity 4b 4c hair (mostly 4c) and it works wonders, especially since I use it after a long protective style and it helped me retain SO MUCH length 😋
i only bought it bc when i searched up is it good for low porosity the shea moisture website said yes

I feel the issue here with lopo is with the Shea moisture Manuka and Honey masque, a little goes a veeeeerrry long way. Some of us are just so heavy handed with products and low porosity hair really don't like that in my understanding.

Great video Rayanne! This is one of my favorite lines from Shea Moisture, but I agree with you regarding the custard. They have a hair milk that people prefer over the custard because it gives just as much moisture without the coated oily feeling and also has more hold. The red palm oil and cocoa butter line also provides great moisture and the curl stretch pudding has more hold than the manuka honey custard as well.

I’ve once again been living under a rock because I did NOT know there was a hair milk🤦🏾♀️... so maybe I’ll try that out. I’ve never tried anything from the line you mentioned but I will give it a look. I really reallly wanted to loveeeeee everything but I just wasn’t wowed like everyone else . That’s all good though . Everyone’s hair is different right

I purchased the Shea moisture JBCO and I’m scared but when I was little my aunt used the leave in conditioner from the JBCO line on my hair and it was good but now I have color hair and I wonder if it is still good
I wish I could say it will work but I feel like shea moisture products in a whole are extremely hit or Miss . Some people love them and some hate ... no in between
Try this product at your own risk!! I’ve read a lot of reviews (after I purchased it 🤦🏽♀️) of ppl having allergic reactions to it. I dismissed them because i don’t typically have a sensitive scalp.
I purchased this product less than 24 hours ago and used it. Fell Inlove immediately..... 12 hours after using it and I’m miserable Smfh. I haven’t been allergic to a product since Dr Miracle in 05’ 😪 I realllyyyyyy love this product though because it’s the first deep conditioner that made my hair feel cloud soft and actually detangled my hair. I usually struggle getting the comb or brush to go through no matter what I do , but this product allowed me to experience that. It’s too bad that my scalp is on fire now though , I really wanted to try the rest of this line. Hopefully if you do choose to try this product , you won’t have any adverse reaction.

PleaseTickle Me what are you talking about? I clearly stated I purchased the product, it’s sitting in my bathroom. I did not bash it, I gave my experience with the product. I LOVE what it did to my hair, not my scalp. Like I said , many ppl have complained of an allergic reaction, read the ingredients to make sure you’re not allergic to anything or simply don’t apply it to yourself scalp. Purchase at your own risk, you may not have the same experience as me, but at least youve been warned if you do. My son had no problem with the product but I only left it on his head for 40 minutes. My mom kept it in for almost a full 8 hours and she had no issues either
They changed the ingredients! It used to be fragrance was the 8th ingredient but now its the 4th! Its not even an essential oil blend anymore!
This product is now mostly fragrance made with who knows what. No wonder people are having reactions.

Everyone gives this line a bad review which is why I avoid it. I’m finally planning to give it a shot. I’m nervous because everyone with my hair type 4c gives it a bad review. I like the yogurt one but my hair hates the protein. It likes and hates the yogurt one. This has the Honey 🍯 in it and my hair liked the one with the honey and yogurt so I thought I’ll give it a try. Haven’t tried it yet. Hope I finally found a hair product my hair likes.

@@RayanneSamantha yes, I hate it. I like the Shea moisture raw Shea butter with kelp line more. I hate the smell of the manuka honey and Madura oil one. The deep conditioner smelled fine but did nothing for my hair. The leave in felt like it did nothing. I just moved on and did not try the shampoo and conditioner. I do wonder if the shampoo and conditioner I was using interfered with this one as the shampoo made my hair feel very stripped and dry.
I wish the raw Shea with kelp one had a leave in. It has a Detangler which I don’t own. I do love the extra moisture line of the raw Shea and kelp line, They have conditioner with 9x and shampoo with 3X moisture. The ones with extra moisture has the golden lid as the regular one has the white lid. The sampoo does not make my hair feel super stripped.
Note, I was buying everything from target 🎯 which I love because you can try it and return it which is great for people learning what works for their hair. Idk if they have a limit on how many returns you can do in a month.

I have pretty straight hair, it has some wave in the bottom but it’s straight for sure. I love this entire line and honestly the shampoo feels like conditioner as I rinse it out! I kinda dislike that the shampoo has such minimum lather

The shampoo didn’t work for me it left my hair super hard 😂 but then I used the hair mask and left it in for 30 mins and then used the conditioner and yes it worked well in my hair ❤ so maybe I won’t be using the shampoo only the other two products .
This and the manuka honey and yogurt line are the only ones that work for my hair🤔.

Every product especially from conditioners upward must leave a film on the hair. That is what protects the hair. However, it could be that you felt like your hair is coated with nylon or was; a feeling most people are not too comfortable with.
