I didn’t see this in the comment but for those of you that needed to know how many rows she did it’s 56 rows per square
Thank you Kasabre28! That is exactly what I was looking for! Kind regards.
Thanks luv
Thank you!
Thank you 😊💜
Thank you I be wanting to try it so bad
THANK YOU SO MUCH BECAUSE I CAN REALLY SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING THANK YOU PLEASE DON’T CHANGE HOW YOU TEACH AND SHOW HOW TO MAKE THE STICH .
You are so welcome! I'll make sure it's always this easy to see what I'm doing 😊
I have a question about the first half double crochet row, did you go all the way to the first loop and stop there to croshet one?
This looks so cute that even though I 3000% do not need more yarn or projects, I immediately went and ordered this yarn so I can make this blanket down the road. Thanks!
😄 I completely know what you mean! I saw the yarn and knew I had to make a pattern with it. It's just so gorgeous!! Have fun 💙
Lol, this statement so applies to me. You can get the yarn at Walmart too
im a complete beginner but my cousins having a baby in about 6 months and id love to make this for the kiddo. its so so pretty. thank you!!!
my first project because im getting a nephew! and your instructions are amazing 😭
I just finished this as my first big project thank you for this titorial it’s super easy for beginners and now I can hdc really fast I built a lot of skill and now have a beautiful blanket for my coming baby boy💙💙💙
This is gorgeous Brittany! Definitely going to do this! I love the beautiful yarn you used! That yarn is so soft to work with!
It really is! And you just can't beat the gorgeous colorways. I love the Mandala line of yarns 💙
I recently got some baby blue ice cream yarn for a baby blanket.
This is perfect: simple but interesting. And it will show off the color changes nicely.
I loved the baby blanket and will definitely be using that pattern
Wonderful! I'm glad you found it helpful. Have a wonderful weekend!
I am in awe of your straight edges!
Using only one chain with a half double crochet stitch (and not counting the chain as a stitch) is the secret sauce 😁
i am a completely beginner and this video is perfect for me! Your explanation is clear and your demonstrations are easy to follow along! i just don't get it why this video does not have a million views. Your voice is so smoooooth!
Definitely I understood everything and I’m going to do it because my daughter is pregnant of a baby girl and she told me she loved this one
thanks for sharing the pattern and tutorial. Very nice blanket love the yarn you used.
I always use stitch markers for the first and last stitches this way I always have straight edges and same stitch counts.
This pattern and the tutorial made me a new subscriber! (I also joined the newsletter.) I HATE baby blankets with "holes" in them! They really aren't very practical. This pattern is simple, yet open for all SORTS of adjustments to make it a bit more complex if the crocheter chooses to change things up a bit. :) While I don't have any babies to crochet for at the moment, this will DEFINITELY go into my "for future use" file! :D Thank you for sharing such a lovely pattern and I look forward to exploring previous and future patterns as well. :)
Hi Gwendy! I’m so happy to have you in the community now ☺️ Let me know if you ever have any questions. I’m happy to help!
This is gorgeous! I'm moving this ahead of my many to do projects! I'm going to use these colors too!
Very BEAUTIFUL blanket thank you so much for the beautiful tutorial I will make it for sure
Thanks!
Wow thank you so much, Rose! 💙🥰 I appreciate the support so much!
@@bhookedcrochet your the best- anytime I can help support I will
When I learned to crochet I could never see where the last stitch in a row was. You give excellent directions!!!
Love this pattern!!!
Thank you, Sally!
Beautiful blanket! Very well done. Calming voice with just the facts.
this is the first time I've seen your tutorial.❤❤❤ this is so beautiful. thank you so much so clear and easy. I'm looking forward to try making this😊
Hi Diane! I’m happy you found it 💙 Have fun making it!
Got my yarn for this, now I just need the time. 💕💕💕
This looks absolutely beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks Brittany thanks for sharing this blanket with us it's so beautiful. And very interesting I saved it for another time.
Thank you, Yvonne! 💙
I am absolutely in love with the color scheme of this blanket and want to make one for myself but not sure how many rows should I start with for a throw size. Can you please help me.
Perfect easy relaxing pattern while I watch TV or listen to audio books. I absolutely do not need any more yarn or WIP's but I'm ordering mandala baby today 😂👍💜🇬🇧
It’s just too pretty not to try! I did the same thing 😂
This blanket looks so fun! Thanks for sharing this, I definitely want to try it!
It really was a joy to make. The color of the yarn made it!
This is so pretty, thank you for sharing. I have a question about multiples, does it matter how many chains you start with if you want to change the size?? 🥰
love this and you are very good at teaching thanks
I am almost finished with the beautiful navy and cream for beginners blanket. It is my very first project. Thank you for helping/encouraging me that I could crochet!
I am going to make this baby blanket next. Do I need a "gauge"? I'm not even sure what it is???
Is there a way you could add how many skeins to buy of the yarn you recommend for each of your projets? That would help me!
I don't know anyone who crochets, so I am relying totally on you.
Thank you !
Sheila
Such a beautiful blanket w/a different spin. I truly love it n your instructions were so clear. Tfs.
Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed it 🥰
This is very pretty and appreciate your tutorial! Thanks, Kris K from CT
🌻🧶🎈
Thank you so much, Kris! Have a wonderful weekend! 💙
The colours are sooooo beautiful. Fantastic.
Thank you very much for this tutorial, and your great teaching of how to do it, you are Soo easy to follow, and I love this design.👍👍👍👍❤❤
Look at them colors beautiful gorgeous
Very Beautiful baby afghan.
rather than counting (after the chain and first row), use a stitch marker (locking or a length of yarn)
That is so cool looking!! Can't wait to try the pattern!! 💗
Thank you, Robyn!
It’s beautiful blanket I love your yarn.
Thank you so much, Maria!
Pretty blanket! Thank you for sharing!
so cute thank u for sharing this beautiful baby blanket ❤
this baby blanket is so wunderful 💞 thank you so mutch 😊👍
My pleasure! I’m so glad you enjoyed it 💙
Beautiful blanket!! I think I have this yarn to make it
Perfect!!
Thank you so much for this elegant pattern 😍 but I wonder if I could make the blocks Separately then joins them together?
Yep, you definitely could!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial
Gulay uzun maşallah çok güzel oruyorsunuz çok güzel olmuş hepsi birbirinden guzel tesekkurler turkıye 🇹🇷🇹🇷👏👏👍🌹🪻🌷💐❤️😘
Can we use a foundation half double crochet stitch (Fhdc) for this pattern? Reason I ask is I tend to have too tight of a chain, which causes my first row more narrow then rest of my project
Wow!!!beautiful blanket
Beautiful pattern and colors!
So cute colours
great tutorial!!! just one question if I change the starting number of stitches to make one big block instead would that be good? and if I did change it how many chains would I have to start with to make it one big equal square? thanks sorry if my question is confusing 😊
This is a really pretty blanket and an excellent pattern.
Beautiful! How many cakes?
Thanks for sharing! I like this color. It's lovely~
This is beautiful
How big is the hook please
Do I have to use a 5.5 hook
Would this be ok with a 4mm hook? I appreciate that it would be smaller overall as well
Love the blanket is so Kool
Can you tell me how many yarn cakes are required for this pattern please. Thanks.
Thank You!!!💞💞💞💞
You are so welcome!
Thank you for cool idea but how can I make it bigger like lap blanket or bed spread or afghan?????
I love your blanket 😍. Can this be remake with chunky yarn?
Interesting design! When you begin the next block, are you joining the yarn on the right side or on the wrong side?
What if I want to make this a bigger blanket. Do I just keep adding more rows?
thank you love this
I finished this yesterday 😊. But the last block....ooooh... Had to frog it 3/4 times...
very pretty
Imma gonna do this for me instead 😎😚😚
Beautiful blanket.👍🏾
I’m try it
I'm a super beginner crocheter, but once I get a little practice in, I'd love to do this project. Does anyone know how many skeins of yarn this takes? Is it just one? Sorry if this is a silly question xo
She used 3 cakes of the Mandala yarn.
How do you keep your work so straight? And keep it from curling up
Beautiful!! Thank you
My pleasure!
Waw...congratulation!
Can I use the thick type of yarn?
I love it! Thank you for sharing this. After the first square could you just work up the side without cutting the yarn? Do you think that would work and look as good as yours does?
You know, I think you could! As long as you end up in the correct side of the row 🤔
Beautiful
Can we do rectangular version of this? For an adult??
this is great thank you 😊
I'm just reaaaally struggling with building the 2nd block - anymore attempts and it will ruin block 1 stitches 😫 can I just crochet the blocks separately (same size) and combine them individually but still following the finished product's design?
Excellent thanks ❣️🤩👏👏👏
You’re welcome 😊
78 stiches at beggining then 77 rows each need 6mm hook 1 yarn cake per block 1st row just hdc as normal then do it thro back loop only slip stitch to join 4 blocks may take weeks so be patient look for pattern in description
If you use a single color, do you have to cut and start with a new slip knot for each block?? Or can you just have one continuous stitch for each? Also, what are the dimensions of this blanket?
Thank you for video love do you know how front post back post crochet
I sure do ☺️ You can crochet some really interesting stitch patterns with post stitches
Which other yarn van we use
Can this be increased to a queen size blanket?
Great video thank you 😊
So glad you enjoyed it!
Bonjour magnifique couverture.. Peut on avoir le patron et en 🇫🇷 français
Merci beaucoup
Hi which crochet hook you used please
You can also use stitch markers if you're not sure (they have saved my life lol)
Where do you put your stich markers at?
Thanks so much
Can you crochet each block individually and then stitch them together in this pattern?
Sure, you could absolutely do that!
@@bhookedcrochet Yay! Thanks so much for your response!
Hi, do you have a pattern to make this larger?
Pretty, how many rows did you crochet up and how do you count the completed rows and lastly can a stitch marker be put at the end so the 77th stitch will be found easily instead of counting each row. Just asking. Lol hate counting a lot of stitches.
Contrast would help but it is possible to tell what you are doing because there is some contrast between the background and the yarn!
I made this Rainbow color blanket for my grandchildren long time ago I it was in 2013
Looks beautiful and so comfy. How many cakes did u use? Thank you
I believe she stated in the video that she used 3 cakes total.
@@gwendyrose8905 oops yes she did tks
How much smaller would it be with an H hook instead of an I hook??
Piz told me how much yarn are use in 1 mitar baby blanket pizzzzzzzzzzz......
I want to do this but for an adult. Is there a stitch count to make it bigger? I didn’t see one in the pattern
