So glad I now live in NZ as none of that corrosion to deal with. Just changed my coffin arms and tuning forks and all came apart so easy. Even putting ball joints back didn't even need pretension to hold them in place

Great video, I just subscribed. Have bought an early Boxster and plan to do this myself.

Impressed by the lack of corrosion on the strut and drop link. Mine had been in place 23yrs and had corroded into one solid piece. Far more effort required to get it apart. Liberal application of anti-seize on reassembly!

    GREAT Video Nick
my only suggestion is to soak all the nuts the day before with Plus Gas - Just makes it easier
And dont forget to get the springs against the stops before releasing the Spring Compressors
    Keep em coming

Hey Nick, I bought a ball joint splitter like the one in this video but it is too thick and does not fit like yours does. Is there some trick or different tool I should be using?

nice instructional vid, one question, can the drive shaft be removed with the exhaust in place?

Yes but it is fiddly. Easier if you pop the bottom ball joint out then you can pull it out much easier
