I like the X08. It does well in the dirt. I think the 3CG servo is a bit under powered. I really like how you pushed it to it's limit. Very informative and entertaining. 🏁
In some way it's better than the X07. The electronics are better, but it's just so impossible on road, but offroad it's an absolute BLAST. Odd car, fun, but I'm still not sure if I'd recommend it like I did the X07. To be fair, I did spend a lot more time with the X07, so I want to give the X08 its fair share as well.

I once bought some toilet paper made from sugar cane. It wasn't sweet at all. Psst: here's a little story time: yesterday on your Mojave 80 packs damage report video, I mentioned how in 5 months I haven't stripped a single spur gear. Guess what gear I stripped on my second pack today ? It wasn't the pinion. It wasn't the input. It wasn't the ring. Give up? My spur gear is splattered all over the inside of my power module housing. It's toast. Complete toast. That big space baby is laughing at me right now. I know it.
It needs a 20 dollar stand alone Gyro from Amazon, what's the matter with you people? You'll spend the 200 for the car and not the 20 bucks for the gyro? And did you even think to align it?
My job as a reviewer is to run an RC the way it comes. If that RC performs well, then I often feature it again with slight upgrades. I didn't spend 200 dollars on that car, Hosim sent it to me to do an HONEST review on it, and that's what you saw. My honest opinion of a car that isn't bad, but not as good as other models by Hosim. You seem upset over something that's basically a non issue.
@@Rek_Rc Oh, I see. But might I suggest you make that clear throughout the video. You're a "reviewer" with absolutely nothing at stake. Except no one else has that advantage.
@@Rek_Rc i am talking but only have cheap rc (but good ones like hbx 16890 normal and pro, ftx ravine modified, scx24 axial and mn128). Almost pulling the trigger for a 2nd hand typhoon with 3 batteries, charger, spares only missing transmitter for 250eur which in Portuguese pricesnis good (new one 400eur with 1 battery)

Off road is what it’s designed to do.. the tires balloon on road
Off road it was fantastic.
My favorite RC we own is my Hosim 9125. Dual 390 motors and runs on 2&3s, and it completely rips.
I've been curious about those dual motor cars. They're good huh?
@@Rek_Rc tge 9125 is tough as nails. I only ever broke mine when I ran it on 4s. Sheared the spur.
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers a spur gear breaking under that much power is forgivable. I think I'm going to give one a try.
LOL you should do tec reviews on toughness! Great review on the X07
I'll be putting the Maxx Slash through some durability testing soon as well.
Hosim Power, Hosim Speed, Hosim Tough, Hosim Fun !!!
Great video, it’s interesting to see how it compares to the X07. I wonder what the issue is with it on road
All I can think of is maybe the toe on the front wheels is uneven. It looks ok but I think a bit of tinkering with it might help.
@@Rek_Rc doesn’t hurt to try
I absolutely love the guitar lick playing in the background, who is it?
When i have a car that does not control straight it usually need tie rods adjusted..

another 1/0 that is actually 1/10. At this price point i always ask muself why not go for a ftx or even top brands with more available parts...
In this case, I would just save a bit and go name brand. It's not a bad car, just a bit pricey to still have to wait for parts.
