Thank you very much for another fantastic video. Like the shape of the wings on a spitfire. The elliptic wing shape also has special abilities. Best Regards Geir L.L Norway
That's a beautiful plane. My nephew, who is an engineer, actually did a modelling study of the Spitfire's wing airfoil in University. It would be interesting to read up on the unique characteristics of flying a Mk IX and then seeing if the model behaves the same way. Love the chase shots!
theres a video in yt that is playing rc planes like this but in the vid theres an fpv cam in cockpit and they like really in tha cockpit they like dogfighting with other rc planese
I always liked watching, but these ads are are driving me to hate yuk toob. But I feel ads should be on a channel only for ads and not on creators channels 👍
RUclips creators can’t turn the ads off. What is worse is that the country you live in has an affect on the amount of ads you see. The USA and CANADA have plenty of ads because companies advertise in those countries leading up to Christmas. In poor countries there are less advertisers so there are less ads on RUclips.
I like the 1200 better. Seemed more responsive, quicker. Both are really well built though. Great review as always ! Great job, fellas ! Wulfy * No Tractor Men were targetted or fear indiced during the filming of this review !
Hi guys, you two made a nice video together again. Steve your camera work was again beautifully filmed. and of course Jedi Steve you are a good experienced RC pilot. This SpitFire has a nice sound in the air, it looks like a real War Bird. Steve & Steve Happy flying would be great if there were more videos of you two. great review. 👍😃 🎬 📷 🛩 🎮 👍👍👍👍👍
The Jedi Duo strikes again with another winner. Can’t believe the size of that 1600. Would like to see it in person, man it’s beautiful. Great job on the video and I especially liked the period music you used. 👍👍😃
HI Cap, hi Jedi, the Brotherhood of the Trees would like to commend Jedi Steve on his superb flying and hopes that the unhealthy mannerisms of the Cap does not rub off on him lol dwl. Continue bringing us great entertainment and may The Force be with you. Keep 'em coming Cap.
hi Steve-Jedi Steve, brilliant plane's and for flying a dream this is a must have {if pension allows it} watching the flying it was so real and music superb when you were flying you drone behind it was just like watching a war film, cracking kit flown by two cracking expert chaps. apart from Jedi's landing.✈🛬
That’s a beautiful model. Just as impressive as the thing. It would be even better with a scale model of the supercharged RollsRoyce Merlin V-12( but that’s just me, still can’t get onboard with electric). Some of the best aerial footage of models I’ve seen. You and Jedi Steve work well together and it shows. You’d think they can put reversible props on these big fast aircraft to help slow the landings. Or even just a parachute. Those are awesome landings , they just need the space they need.
great footage, i would have wet my pants seeing this as a teen, i'm jealous of those kids that can walk by and see planes near their school. Not sure why you are so keen on invasion stripes you have mentioned them in several videos, jedi steeve also seems to like them, not completely sure (my teenage memory is a long time ago) the mkix would have had the invasion stripes as it was mid 42 to counter the fw190. this seems pretty well designed but they do appear to have omitted a tear drop starter motor on the front right side of the plane - but lovely :) flight time is pretty nice too
The question that comes to mind is: Are there regulations that limit the limit the size of hobbyist drones\aircrafts? Overall, I can't imagine that hobbyists would want something too much larger than this plane for practical reasons, and the demographic would be limited.
In pretty much all countries, there are regulations for UNMANNED REMOTELY CONTROLLED VEHICLES, which includes Drones, Helicopters, Planes, etc. They all have the same regulations and all go by weight (under 250 grams or 250 grams and over up to a very heavy weight class... like Farm Drones or Hollywood Cinema Drones which a BIG and HEAVY).
This is an awesome video review of the Flightline Spitfire! The giant 9600mm version looks amazing, and it's great to see how it compares to the smaller 1200mm model. The flight footage is excellent, especially the part where you were flying with the FPV drone. 5 minutes of flight time on a 400OmAh battery is very impressive, and it sounds like you could push that even further with a larger battery. Those invasion stripes on the 1200mm model look really sharp! Thanks for the links to Motion RC and RC Castle - that's very helpful for viewers outside the USA. Overall, this is a fantastic review that will be very helpful to anyone considering purchasing one of these Spitfires.
To begin with, DJI FPV cannot track. It lacks any tracking or automatic modes. It is a dedicated FPV drone. On top of that, DJI FPV can fly in Sports mode up to ~60 km/h and up to ~140 km/h in Manual. If Active Tracking would be a thing, it wouldn't even reach the Sports mode, maybe Normal mode best case scenario. Finally, no DJI drone can track another drone, only humans or vehicles. The Neo cannot even track vehicles. Tracking a small object moving at 120 km/h is basically off the table for any kind of drone in the market (or at the very least for the 99,9999% of them).
@gabrielsansar6187 You will NEVER see a video of a drone of anytype (even DJI) tracking an RC PLANE. It is 100% impossible. Drones are designed to track objects that barely change height or move quickly from side to side at high speed.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798No worries Captain, best reviewing channel on RUclips, short an sweet, good overview on everything. Look forward to every video, keep it up! 💯
Haha, you don't need the Insta360 GO 2 on that one, you can put a cinema camera 🤣
The creator can share and review products that they like or dislike. Grand sharing Steve 💪💪🇺🇸

Fantastic video as always. I miss my old eflight spitfire.
I wonder if flightline will ever release a mk1 or a mk2a at 1.1 orat 1.2mm
We have 2 real ones fly over our house every day (pleasure flights £4k each!) and yours looks identical in the air. Amazing.
That thing is awesome Steve. My favourite warplane of all time.

Reverse thrust would certainly be a bonus on hot landings!

Stripes on the wings of a warbird looking so very nice in flight
Is the wing easily removable on the big one? I have a hatchback that I could haul it in if the wing is removed.
Yes, just remove screws.
Fun video ! 😃
Great fun with a couple of old classic models.
The planes were cool too !
🤣
Thanks!
Beautiful...thats on my wishlist for sure. Great video steve!
Merry Christmas! Hopefully Santa is good to you this year.
Great in-flight footage, especially the cockpit view! :-)
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice touch with the music in the footage. Thanks Cap Drone

Yo Steve can you take the ov 10 bronco and put an fpv camera in the cockpit
Didn't you ask me that a few days ago???
Just want to say, the drone and camera work are spectacular!
Thank you!

why not try tracking the plane with the drone instead of manual ??
