Steve your footage is always stellar. Your camera work is to me unmatched in comparison to all the other channels I watch. I won't be buying one but it's definitely a joy to watch you guys review this jet. Mississippi loves your content Steve thank you for sharing.
Thats awesome! Love this plane, the only issue I have with this plane. Is the front landing gear. Not fair well in hard landings. Because of the intake its pain to repair the mounting area. Still love this plane though.
Those shots of it from cameras, including the drone, were fantastic. I thought I was watching a Top Gun movie. Praises to the Jedi for the excellent job of flying, he is so good. I really enjoy your videos. 👍👍😃
Terrific footage, and what a great-looking jet, both sitting still and in the air. Fantastic review as always, there's no stopping the power duo of Captain and The Jedi 😎.
Awesome plane! I’ve been stuck thinking about how most modern RC aircraft now use electric motors instead of the old, noisy, nitro/oil-burning 2-stroke engines I grew up with. What’s even more interesting is the size and weight of today’s battery packs. In this video, for example, the 6S 6000mAh pack is rated just under 900g. But while sitting in my garage, I realized I have several 3.7V 6000mAh packs lying around. If I were to build a 22.2V, 6000mAh pack using these cells, the total weight comes out to nearly half of the store-bought version. Sure, there’d be a bit of added weight from copper wiring and connectors and the common bus to carry the amps , but it would still be under 600g-and it would take up less volume. Has anyone you fly with ever built their own battery packs to save on weight? I’m currently working on a 3D-printed VTOL EDF fighter and am looking for ways to optimize flight time and speed. From a performance perspective, I’m curious-how would you compare modern electric ducted fans (EDFs) to the old ducted fans driven by nitro 2-stroke engines? While EDFs definitely sound better, I assume the motors used today are mostly BLDCs, rather than axial flux motors. Given the power density of axial flux motors, I imagine they’d be hard to beat with internal combustion engines, at least at this scale. Just my opinion. Thanks for the video!
Electric ESCs and motors today provide instant thrust vice a buildup to thrust. Also the only sound heard is the air passing through the blades & no additional motor sounds.
Well done Captain, Jedi Steve and................the beloved "Tractor Man" (nice mowing clip BTW !!!) superb sounding and on the move, looking Aircraft; magic moment for me : DJI FPV caught coming into view from the rear of the craft!; brilliant!
Thank you so much for the amazing video, (as always) This is an amazing plane. My friend has this plane and I have flown it on several occasions. But he has rebuilt it so that he has had room for a 100 mm fan in it. Fly it with 6 cells. Speed like a rocket. Thanks again for your wonderful videos Regards Geir Norway
Best review you’ve done so far Steve! The chase drone and in flight footage coupled with the ground fly by passes were incredible. Looked and sounded like a real jet almost. Would love to get one of these once my experience level gets to that level.
Excellent video as always Captain! Thanks for getting back to me about the video editing, l appreciate it. I've been trying to think who Jedi Steve reminds me of all this time, and it finally clicked! He reminds me of Martin Crane from the TV series Frasier. Maybe it's just me.😂
It's Banger Time ! *This RC Plane not intended for recreational use involving "Tractor Man !! Any targetting of the above mentioned, shoukd be considered strictly coincidental and non-hostile ! 🤣🤣🤣 OM golly !! Steve- I typed that in- just before Tractor Man showed up on screen ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
$500, that seems really good for what you get. Fixed wing RC, seems to be better value than helis, which is what I fly. I mean it's $500 for the PNP version, so you need your own radio and transmitter, anyone who's buying this will have been in the hobby a while, and will have a radio at least if not a receiver.
I think I’ve flown over 100 planes in reviews. With Jedi Steve flying, I can now get chase video from a drone (it took two years of practice to get the skills to chase an RC Plane). All my previous large plane videos lack the chase and ground zoom videos, so having Jedi Steve is a bonus. Oh and Jedi Steve is not a photographer (can’t operate a zoom camera to track a plane, and has not practiced chasing RC planes close up, so I’m stuck with the job) :-)
The mini 4 pro is so similar to the mini 3 pro that I never bothered to make a vid. I use the mini 4 pro in plenty of vids to capture certain shots of me reviewing products.
"For the old people out there this is a first generation US fighter"? Hey, it's the young people out there who need to be told that, Steve! I'm old enough to remember the F-86 as an advanced fighter jet! LOL! Great review, as always, if I were an RC plane person, I'd definitely get one of these. Can a larger battery fit in this aircraft? For longer flights?
Wow that's very cool Captain drone thanks for that amazing review I was just saying that I f you are no more using the fimi mini 3 please I beg Pliz if ur not using it pliz can I have it pliz I stay in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 at Bulawayo morning side 2 Penrith Road
Pliz Captain drone I'm 13 years I had a syma helicopter and I really knew how to fly it I always watch your videos for drones so I knew how to fly drones from you So I beg Captain drone pliz I thin, if I have like the fimi mini 3 I would have my tiny business of taking videos and photos for people So pliz Captain drone I beg of you
It is your phone speaker.... Since it can't play high and low frequencies it plays the middle frequencies and for you it makes the music louder than the plane engine sound.
Steve your footage is always stellar. Your camera work is to me unmatched in comparison to all the other channels I watch. I won't be buying one but it's definitely a joy to watch you guys review this jet. Mississippi loves your content Steve thank you for sharing.
Wow, thanks!
fms are really making it hard to choose/not be a hoarder - so far this is my favourite
Thats awesome! Love this plane, the only issue I have with this plane. Is the front landing gear. Not fair well in hard landings. Because of the intake its pain to repair the mounting area. Still love this plane though.
That gets my heart pumping
What an incredible sound from that ducted fan!
Stunning Jet, and stunning camera work. 👍👍👍
Many thanks!

Thanks 👍
OMG!!! I am in love! just sitting there it looks fast.

FMS: Yes.
Sounds insane I like it

Thank you so much!
Great review Steve
Thank you!
Beautiful edf and great review steve!!
Thank you kindly!
Morning ❤
Cool. It's been my experience that the factory cg location is a bit forward. As you get more confident you can try moving it backwards just slightly.
Awesome vid unbelievable when the planes engine hit the dji fpv. Thanks steve
Love this. Hope there will be a F4 Phantom soon.

You can use a much larger battery but you’d probably only add another minute of flight at most.

can you please review the kf102 drone?
Is the fuselage oam or plastic?
Mostly EPO foam for strength
Yo cap I have a question, could you please make a video about the TBS Tango 2
TBS Tango 2 is an old product. I only make videos, mostly about newer products.
It’s too bad that the nose gear mounting plate is thin plastic and very fragile.
I'm not sure if it's my phone, but that music is to loud, or needed 😮
It is your phone speaker.... Since it can't play high and low frequencies it plays the middle frequencies and for you it makes the music louder than the plane engine sound.
