Yes, PLEASE don't feel any pressure to rush past the character interactions because you're not "progressing", so many Let's Players do that and the fact that you actually do read everything/talk to everybody is a big part of why this channel is so great. To that point, please don't forget to read the tree ring-history signpost in the parking lot.
You wandering around, and talking to people, is kind of the "THING" of this channel, if you didn't do it, I'd take it as a secret signal that things have gone horribly wrong.
(Dan mentions grinding off camera for Arrowheads) Yes Dan. Also feel free to revisit old zones later and grind / grab things you missed and then share the unlocks with us. Not cause you need to do it for us, but cause I want you to enjoy this game :)
I was kind of on the fence about this game. The visuals are odd, but interesting. The premise of the game is promising. But I think that the dialogues in this episode are what really got me excited about the upcoming episodes. It looks like a lot of thought has been put into this game and the characters and the interactions between them really sell the world.
14:30 So this is about what you've said both before and after this, but this is why I love PlayFrame so much. Lots of great content all over, but I've yet to find another channel that delivers quality entertainment and is so darn wholesome. Not sure I'll ever find another one quite like this one
Man, that Campster site was great, I never even heard of it, but it felt like such a fun addition to the game. I love Psychonauts, but there's a lot of stuff in your playthrough I haven't seen or heard, and it's amazing, thanks for being meticulous.
It's so fun to see you digging through all the dialogue. I'd forgotten how much there is in this game, and you're finding gems I never thought to look for back when I played it! Speaking of... I own this on Steam and haven't replayed it... time to remedy that before the sequel comes out.
22:45: You know, I'd probably be a lot more invested in seeing Raz and Lili become friends if half the cast wasn't "jokingly" calling them boyfriend and girlfriend, as if they're afraid the audience will get bored if they don't identify a romantic subplot from early in Act 1. I'm irritated for a few reasons, most centering around how often I've seen this kind of subplot develop and how often it's done badly. Also because I like friendship-building subplots that _don't_ end in the main characters sharing a big kiss in Act 3, just late enough that they don't have to show the romantic relationship going anywhere. Romantic subplots are a big pet peeve of mine, okay?
totally get you, plus it's a little personally awkward when they implement romance in stories all the time cause i had to deal with that up until freshman year and....does not work how it does in the movies not gonna lie. glad to know i'm not the only one haha
I was very young when I saw my sister play this game, and the water curse was definitely something that deeply my. Let’s just say that the reason why I always had an aversion to taking a bath is because of that hand.

Obligatory mathematical nitpick about decades being arbitrary, but year 10 having been the last year of the first decade CE, not the first year of the second decade.
If you get enough money for the magnet badge before you finish Sasha’s shooting gallery, you can use the censors there to farm arrowheads. Turn the machine to nearly max, stand on the little circle until the machine stops spitting out censors and palm slam them a couple times. Repeat until it tells you you reached your daily limit. Use the smelling salts to leave the level before you activate the next part. If you do this you can keep repeating this. I personally find it faster and more tolerable than using the dowsing rod!
When Quinton talks about his dream about the Bathtub you can actually see that bathtub in the Tumbler experiment because it has one of the mental Cobwebs in it.

Watching me some playframe to ring in the new decade!! (Cos I got work tomorrow and cant actually go out, so this may be my second choice but it is quite a good one if I do say so.)
that youtube recommend algorithm working real hard to suggest me kids videos for some reason. Ah yes, Psychonauts is very similar to unboxing Elsa toys
@@seabassthegamer6644 I think it's related to the video in some way, even if not related to the content. I've not seen that before on any other video and it would be a bit of a coincidence to see it for the first time on a video where people are commenting on it.
Ohh man... I saw the two cheering kids in an out of context compilation and thought they were mixing poisons for other people, the joke being they aren't as nice as Raz thought. Oof. This, uh... this hits a sore spot for me. I'm glad 2 had some more decorum about this stuff, glad they thought about that.
Using social media as a way to explore character dynamics is actually pretty common now! You mostly find it on Twitter. Example, check out @RenAthlete @TheEyesOfKalos for two characters I run in the Pokemon universe. Another person who check out is the writer behind the #GoblinVerse characters, who usually has around 5 characters at a time interacting among themselves and other fantasy characters on Twitter. It's a fun hobby!
I really want to see you do some backtracking when you have the stuff to access secrets, like the cobweb duster. Please do take your time with this game, it deserves it.
I read the boards for the kids! Two things: it would be amazing if ****SPOILERS****** when you collect each kid’s brain you had to go through their mind and learn about them as individuals. It could be uhhhhh extremely tragic, bc 2 that shit broke my heart. Poor crystal and Clem....

Definitely don't apologize for wandering around and talking to everyone. We'd miss most of the game's content if you didn't.
Agreed, I would rather see the whole breadth of the game.

The exploring was fun. I never knew there were so many possible interactions with the kids
All the read posters have people holding brains instead of books... appropriate for psychics.
Can we all agree that Lili is a tsundere?
We can all agree

Is no question.
In all fairness, if my childhood has taught me anything, it's that kids are usually just as awful as depicted or worse, cruel jokes and all :|
