Even though Ran played libero in his club season in Europe, it's better for him to be a hitter. Liberos are the lowest paid position unfortunately.

The defense and offense of Ryujin Nippon in this match are truly exceptional. It is well-balanced. Yuki Ishikawa's captaincy is astounding. Ran Takahashi showing the masterful OH2 defensive skills, especially from the back.The middles have been really really efficient as well as the Opposites. I'd even argue that Nishida is (right now, very recency biased) the weak link in team Japan. He is amazing to watch and can score some absolute bangers, but his defense is severely lacking compared to everyone else. In recent games, including practice games Ishikawa and Takahashi were the main scorers

Ran Takahashi has improved so much after being in the Italian league for so long. His spiking and court awareness has increased tremendously and you can tell even after a whole rally Ran is trying to come up with new ways to score. 8:10 he tries to spike it at a extremely sharp angle here. Even though it didn't work he still has a huge smile on his face!
That attack was played by N’Gapeth in the last point to win 18-16 over Japan in the 5th set.
I noticed that play too. He tried a very sharp angle. Maybe something he didn't do in practice, but he wasn't afraid to try this precise play. It failed, but I applaud him for the Volleyball intelligence. Most players would have just went for a regular cross or line shot - they would have forced it. He tried something different from the position he was at. He was smiling when it failed, because it didn't bother him much. It was a good play!
Japan's defence this game was actually ridiculous, seriously rooting for them.
The people of Iran are at war with the Islamic Republic of the terrorist mullahs. This is not the national team of Iran If the Islamic Republic of the terrorist mullahs and the Revolutionary Guards are destroyed, Iran will become the world champion every year I hate Japan because the team is not strong .Persian ❤

Setting Takahashi again at the end to close, despite the small mess up the rally before, is great to see. Maintains trust that he is one of the best on the court and leaves team with overall great satisfaction
Sekita always trusted his hitters,he have habit to set back repeatedly until a hitter make a point or to gain back confident after a miss spike/error.

I love Sekita's setting. He's small, but he's a smart setter. Not only that, his defense is really good too which is needed as a setter.
Iran did great with blocking but Japan's defense is just amazing.
I think Akihiro Yamauchi and Taishi Onodera played spectaculary in the match. They have a great connection with the amazing Sekita the setter. Moreover,everyone did a great job!Congratulations Team Japan! 🇯🇵👏🎉

Japan's floor defence and coverage is unbelievable. I've always love Japan's men's and women's volleyball, win or lose because despite of the height advantage of the opponents, Japan's game is always awesome. Making a point against Japan is exhausting. 🤭🤗😉😆

Japan is finally achieving overwhelming growth after more than 40 years. I have been waiting for the revival of Japanese men's volleyball for a long time, and I am really impressed to see today's their performances. In particular, It's good that the middle players, who are Japan's weak point, are also improving. 👍
Did you notice how the audience remains silent in between serves and rallies? The "bangs" of the ball and "dashes" of the shoes sounds like an orchestra to me - adding up to the intensity of the game. This atmosphere opens me up to a whole new volleyball experience!!! AMAZING JAPAN!!!

@@icaro_rafael na verdade nem são os tocos até porque a média do Irã é uma das mais altas da vnl e no mundial contra a França foram pra 5 sets só jogando pelas extremidades, o problema deles são os centrais que são péssimos só tem altura e eles tentam minar isso com o fundo de quadra. Um loser pra eles no meio de rede já ajudaria demais.
@@joselucas6744 Os centrais iranianos em média são bons, o problema é o laventador que não tem o nível de um Marouf, os ponteiros tbm estão deixando a desejar.
@@icaro_rafael os centrais que falei foram os do Japão que são ruins, e eles oque mata o time contra as grandes seleções, os ponteiros e o oposto são bons aí como eles tem centrais ruins que não bloqueiam nada tentam minar isso no sistema defensivo.

First of all, as an Iranian, I congratulate the Japanese team and its cultured fans, and I am almost sure that their team will cause trouble for the 5 biggest teams in the world. Regarding the Iranian team, I must say that we have talented players, and maybe the lack of friendly matches made the coach use three different formations in the game. This is what It must be resolved. The next issue also comes back to the absence of Milad Ebadipour. Unfortunately, despite Khanzadeh's good performance in receiving passes, they suffered a lot today. In the end, I have to say that we were a little better than last year's game, and of course, the opponent's unique ball shooting hurt some of the boys. There are 11 more games and we hope to reach the next stage.

But if milad absense then it will be tough for Iran 😭 i saw China team match before and the blockers, really scary than last year 🤧 even tho their gameplay & receive still not really good, but if Iran's spikers quality still like today, i'm kinda afraid.. 😩🙏

They are 2 monsters in volley, they abilities about everything are crazy, I think Ran is better defending but ishikawa is really smart and amazing when it's about atacking
@@joaomartins3647 Well, Ran has worked as a libero for a long time in his club in Italy, logically he has better defense. But Ishi is good in that aspect too, nothing to envy. I agree that they are both 2 monsters, but for the moment Ishikawa is better for me, but Ran is still young, she will continue to mature.

Ran has vastly improved over the years. He has become more confident in his attacks and his defense is even better. That libero role in his first year in Italy really did wonders for him. He is definitely the next best OH of Japan. Nishida was inconsistent this game however.
