- Rockhounding for green Grossular Garnets found deep in the Wah Wah Mountains west of Milford, Utah. This is a very remote area, but the views are fantastic and the treasures are awesome! Towards the end of the video, I show some pieces that I polished as well as a piece of polished matrix with garnets inside.
Green garnets are gorgeous
My only feedback is that I wish the video was longer! Thanks for showing this off
Thanks for the feedback!
Im lost for words. This is one of the garnett variations I have wanted in my collection since I found out about them. You are one lucky guy to be this mysterious mans friend

Thanks! These are found on public land.
@@utah_rockhound Awesome. Gotta get out there and try my luck. Thanks for sharing.
Is there any certain place on Wah Wah Mountain to find the best garnets?
What would be really amazing is if some of those had titanium oxide (Rutile) inclusions and they were Green Star Garnets
Mashallah God God God ❤
why are you using a paint can opener to chisel out those garnets?
Totally a preference thing, I like using a heavy duty flat-head screwdriver for more precision chiseling.
@@utah_rockhound oh thats right, those things can be used as a screwdriver too!😂😂😂😂😂
LOL Right?!?!
