@@laary7589 You get 75% extra shields, it seems impossible that they can still 3sk. But sure Ill go test it tomorrow to check, either way its definitely the one you wanna max out.
"You need full shields for a checkpoint" I realized this right at the end of my LASO run with the scorpion gun. The pain and suffering that came from restarting entire sections could've been avoided
Ikr? I had to repeat Chak ‘Lok’s boss 12-15 times before I discovered it. Not only that, but it made me go back to right before even entering the Tower, so I’d have to do the entire gauntlet again before even getting a chance to fight him again!

Finished my LASO run yesterday, I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to FULLY UPGRADE YOUR THRUSTERS! The 4 seconds of invisibility that you can spam indefinitely thanks to Bandanna absolutely trivialises some sections that would otherwise be agonising. You can spam it during the long gondola ride and the sentinels won't even see you. You can use it to close the distance to enemies for a shield recharge melee then move back behind cover before they spot you. You can use it to get behind hunters easily. If the warthog launch doesn't work for you in The Road (it didn't for me) then you can just spam thrust your way to the House Of Reckoning instead, only a few enemies spotted me and all they could do was fire at where I was several thrusts ago, they literally cannot keep up with you if you zig zag a bit. Best of all its great for avoiding the Harbingers instakill orbs, at least it was for me.
Bro infinite Escape Velocity and Duelist blade And Dynamo grenades I 100 percent LASO and literally raped entire Banished army. How overpowered is this? I stood face to face with Tovarus, Escharum, and Brute Hammer Chieftains with blade and arcane sentinel beam and just melted them. This is like the one exploit he doesn’t mention that basically breaks LASO. I didn’t even use Scorpion Gun once.
6:10 It is very worth it to kill the ultra elite and take his sword here. The sword works with black eye so you can heal much better. It also trivializes the Tremonius fight.
@@Killzees tank gun+sword is probably the best you're gonna get, but chak lok is pretty tough either way. i went tank gun+sword combo and eventually got it after a little while, but it was still kinda hard. mainly just gotta keep moving and use those threat sensors
A tip I would add is fully upgrade your thrusters. The last perk gives you 4 seconds of invisibility, and with the Bandana Skull you can spam your thrusters and fly through a mission, staying invisible the entire time. Another one would be to always keep a sword on you and go after grunts and jackals last if possible using the sword when fighting large groups. That way you fully heal up and get your checkpoint. I finished LASO a few days ago and only just learned about the full health checkpoint thing during the Harbinger fight so there were many times I died and went back like 30 minutes or whatever cause I didn't fully heal.
I considered a section in the video for just this but it’s so easy already with the grapple and unlimited ammo 😂 Also I’ll add sometimes camo doesn’t work and they still see you which was odd
@@MintBlitz If you're invisible and within around 5 meters of the enemy and they're facing you they will spot you, if youre behind them it shouldn't proc them. Also once you've proc'd them you need thrust behind a wall/object and go invisible again and they will stop tracking you!
Something not mentioned here is that if you max out "invisi-thruster" then infinite equipment means you can just spam and scoot through every room without a locked door, which is most of them, and is much faster than room clearing.
@@starhammer5247 I do need luck cause for some stupid reason everytime I save and quit it puts me back at the beginning of the mission. Just got all the way to the boss on level 2, quit out, hit continue and now I'm back at the beginning. I got multiple checkpoints throughout so dno why but it's really winding me up
As soon as you get cloaking thrusters, the whole thing gets significantly easier and faster, by just spamming it everywhere past enemies, with the variant duelist sword to refill health. Nice to see you post a tutorial for people that haven't done it yet. I also grapple skipped all the rooms, bridges, elevators, and gondolas, I wasn't forced to activate, by spamming grapple at walls and ceilings.
TL;DR: Get an energy sword asap, kill Tremonius Jackal adds by Grappling high and taking them out with Grenades, then take out Tremonius shields and finish him with the Energy Sword (he will not stagger until you drop his shields) grab Scorpion Gun (Optional), go get the Duelist Energy Sword from Okro ‘Vagaduun, slick your way to max Thruster level by hunting down Spartan Cores (3 at Outpost Tremonis and several around FOBs make this extremely quick and easy) then just dash your way through all enemies without problems, clear Excavation Site, kill Thav Sebarim for his Arcane Sentinel Beam if you aren't using the Scorpion Cannon, use the Energy Sword/Scorpion Gun or Arcane Sentinel Beam + Thruster spam to take out any enemies you are forced to deal with, the Gondola with all the sentinels can be skipped by clinging to the wall entirely until you reach the end the sentinels won't spawn, kill Jega 'Rdomnai and take his literally busted Energy Sword over the Duelist one and absolutely blast through the remainder of the game with god tier weapons and beat the last boss easily. I beat LASO in 1 hour and 45 minutes and I know people are clearing faster with those methods. Seriously, no enemy can deal with infinite invisibility, it makes LASO in Infinite easier than Legendary by a mile. Great video showcasing just how silly LASO can be :)
For anyone who did the invincibility glitch, if I activate a cutscene, do I stop being invincible? I’m worried if I go get the drop wall and the thrusters, I’ll be killed like an idiot thinking I’m untouchable.
Did my LASO run on my own a few years back, WITHOUT the tank gun, and it took me around 20 hours. I used the special energy sword and the special rocket launcher basically the entire run. Shock grenades are pog, and the unlimited grapples saved my life multiple times.
TIP: At 21:19 you mentioned it was a slightly difficult part to get past but I found a trick that I used to not fight the sentinels: I upgraded my thrust to max (which gives you invisibility at the end of your thrust for 4 seconds) and I just thrusted into a back corner of the gondola every 4 seconds to stay invisible. Super easy to pass if you've maxed out your thruster.
You can also use the grappleshot along the right side of the room and avoid the gondola altogether! Just activate it and get off, it won't continue without you. I got curious because of how the elevator worked just before the Harbinger cutscene. If you get too far from it by either falling back down or super grappling up (it appears to impart momentum on you), it'll go back down (the elevator has to be with you to trigger the next part of that level). For the gondola though, curiously, the door in the middle only cares about you! So just grapple in front of it and go through.
@@jawn6955 I made a separate comment that includes this as I was watching the video. It was mostly me remarking how fusion coils make most of the bosses trivial though.
Awwwwe yeah awesome video! Personally I get the tank cannon, skip the dig with the laser trick and max out the dodge power so you can just invisibility the whole way hehehe
@@laary7589 If you’re about to make the claim LASO is about fighting every enemy engagement possible with traditional weaponry and tactics I think we’re all about to laugh in your face.
@@SunSunSunn No it's not "only easier if you cheese your way through." Bandana is on by requirement for LASO in Infinite, and with bandana, you can easily waltz through the game with a rocket launcher and energy sword. No glitches required.
@@343Films Did you easily watz through the game without cheesing, no scorp gun, and no level skipping, and killing every enemy? and no cheeses on boss fights? I highly doubt it
Thanks for this, just doing LASO myself and there were definitely some tips here that would have made things easier. Love the vehicle skip you do to the house or reckoning.
Thank you bro, you’re a legend. Got it done in 10 hours with your guide. I usually don’t attempt LASO mode, but this one was fun and approachable. You’re basically OP with tank gun, sniper rifle and full shields.
For Chak like, you can throw the threat senor on the central pillar and look up. Their is a tall cavern that you can grapple up. I cheesed the fight in about 5 minutes by constantly grappling back the cavern and tossing shock grenades down. Chak Lok will stand under you the entire time.
That’s exactly what I did! Just kept grappling up there and occasionally looking down and blindly firing my scorpion gun. I was bound to hit something and managed to kill him easily.
@@aceykerr8752 Hard disagree tbh. While I found him easier on Heroic, he was for some reason the toughest boss for me to deal with on LASO. I wiped the floor with Tremonius, both Adjutant Resolutions, Bassus (killed him in five seconds), Escharum, Jega and the Harbinger. Chak 'Lok gave me the most trouble for some reason.
@@jamesb7205 If you can I couldn’t find a ledge to do so. You wouldn’t want to anyway because you still need to lure Chak ‘Lok out of hiding so you can shoot him from that vantage point and he likes hit and run tactics.
A tip for the gondola with sentinels. There are two walkways with a wall on the outside of a 90 degree curve. Stand with your back against it and place a drop wall in front of you. Easy sniping from there on out. In the room following there is a bridge with many sentinels. You can spider man below the bridge to get to the end without fighting annoying sentinels
In the second boss fight, i found that if you jump up on the two tiny ledges next to the trapped spartan, he can't hit you with the sword and he'll stand next to you confused until he switches to his plasma gun. That's when it gets tricky but I had to hop off, and shoot back while switching sides using the spartan as cover the entire time. It tricks the a.i. a little bit when you jump on the sides. Gotta use that scanner each time you switch sides so you know where he is at all times. Such an amazing game. Just about to beat it on legendary myself.
Haven't even finished the video yet and I'm shocked at how he skipped foundation because I did not know these skips, you're amazing man, atleast you'll help through the 3rd half of the game! Thanks bro
Great video, I found that tank cannon and energy sword was most efficient, took me around 4 hrs. Was great fun to have a super lethal mode instead of having to cheese everything like previous games
@@EinsteinOnCrack He's definitely not lying. My LASO save file says 4 hours 14 minutes after completing the game and fucking around in the open world for probably around 10 minutes before quitting to the menu. LASO is wayyyy easier in this game than any other Halo
My trick with the skimmers is actually used to gravity hammer If you get up close to them they don't shoot they're rocket launchers, you can clear whole crowds with the gravity hammer I really used a gravity hammer for most of the my run, Dynamo grenades into gravity hammer, my secondary weapon switched from rocket launcher to needler to Sentinel beams
I really wish I had watched this video before I did my LASO run lol, would have saved me a lot of time and torture. I did end up discovering the shield-checkpoint thing on my own, so that’s good. Helped me get consistent checkpoints. I’m on the last level now. Tell you what, I think Boom skull actually makes enemies easier to deal with on LASO than on normal Legendary. Using the secret gun I managed to launch Tovarus immediately into the air during his boss and he died on the way back down. Then I did the same to Hyperius. Splatter damage is OP for bosses. I wasn’t able to splatter Escharum like you showed here, but I killed him pretty easily regardless. I’ve also found that the “melee to get shields back” strat works even better if you have an energy sword/grav hammer secondary since their main attacks count as a melee. So many of the skimmer sections I was able to beat doing that because a) they gave me shields when I did it and b) sword is instant kill for skimmers, even with Mythic. Even Brutes with the rockets are two hit kills (sometimes three) and it stuns them relatively consistently after each hit. A bunch of other stuff I wish I knew though. The grapple fly, the sentinel beam strat for the Nexus (holy shit the section with the nostalgia berries and the shock sentinels actually gave me anxiety), the fusion coil cheese for Bassus and Jega (I got one hit killed in Escharum’s fight and it made me repeat Jega’s boss again. Thankfully I managed to get a melee in with my sword before killing him again and it gave me a checkpoint immediately after killing Jega). One odd quirk with the Blind skull I’ve noticed is with the shield recharge sound. Normally there’s no sound for it at all with Blind. It doesn’t beep if it’s down and it doesn’t make the recharge sound. HOWEVER, if you hijack a vehicle it counts as a melee, so it’ll recharge your shields. Not only that, but for some reason, in that specific instance, it’ll make the recharge sound. Not sure if that’s a bug or not, but it seems too weirdly specific to be intentional. Another weird bug I discovered during my run was on the bridge section of the first level. I managed to get through it all and destroy the engines, triggering the escape sequence, only to die to a box being flung at me, forcing me to redo the bridge section from the beginning. However, for some reason, this doesn’t disable the “escape state” for the ship, so the alarms will continue to blare and the skybox for outside the ship will be briefly glitched into a white texture. The texture part seems to fix itself after a second, but the alarms keep going off. Not game breaking, just thought it was funny.
For Excavation Site, this mission can absolutely be done a lot faster and easier. When I did it, I destroyed the shade turrets beforehand then immediately beelined for the control room after triggering the laser. For each side of the laser, enemies won't spawn until you raise the fuel cells. And if you're using the scorpion gun, it only takes one shot to destroy both. Relative to the laser, the one on the left can be done very quickly and you can get back to the grav lift before most enemies spawn. The other side, I like to go up the ramp to the cliff and take everything out from up there. When you do that, you'll just have a few sniper jackals to deal with and some shield jackals in a cave and not much else. You can melee one to get your health back before the boss fight if you take any damage at all
I wanted to leave a great big thank you for making this video. You my friend are truly Mythic!! I couldn't have finished my LASO run without it. It even helped me get the Forza Veloce achievement too. It's the one where you have to finish the campaign in less than 8 hours. Have a like on this video and subscription to your channel from me. You've more than earned it.
Thanks to your guide (really just giving me the courage to do the task) I somehow beat laso in 4:07:26. I’ve never completed a laso nor have I ever tried speed running but GOT DAMN am I proud of this
A big, big, big thank you for this. Just finished. I was in high school when 3 came out and this is my first LASO. People say this is a good one to start LASO, but man I need a nap after this.
this guide is going to be so helpful, gotten through the tower now, gonna go do invulnerability and then go around destroying everything to get max valor and all the spartan cores to make the rest of the run less painful
Pro tip: Keep a sword on hand and with the infinite grapple you can fly around like your multiplayer's worst nightmare and deal some serious damage. Especially useful in the room with all of the skimmers where Despondent Pyre dies. Its near the end of the Conservatory mission 6
If anyone happens to see this comment and is struggling on Chak Lok, I just beat him first try in under a minute. Like the video suggested, stacking up the coils on one spot helps. The thing that made him easy was spamming the threat sensor. When you initially throw one, it immediately scans the area. If you throw another, it scans instantly again, instead of waiting to pulse. If you keep throwing them, you will never lose track of him. I'm sure there are still some issues with this boss fight, but it went very smooth for me spamming threat sensor.
I was getting the absolute worst checkpoints on the house of reckoning. This video definitely helped. I was raging because of Escharum killing me in one shot
Thank you very much, I did it with your guide (without the excavation site glitch but with the Scorpion turret) and I must say it was so helpful the LASO was a piece of cake. Thank you kind Sir !
I found a great strategy for the brothers on pelican down, all you need is the BR and take out Tovarus first. there is a spot all the east near of where he stands, thats where the BR is. All you have to do is just go far enough out of his range and just mow him down with the BR, takes a while but he won't be firing back, he'll just take laps but as long as you have threat sensor you can see him, he ends up going back to right below the platform and just stands there. Next, for Hyperius, he'll be off his chopper by now, use thruster to go across the map to the west side and there is a rock formation by the metal pillars that lets you do the same thing, except I used the rocket launcher and sent him flying off the map into the ring and boom 1 shot kill xD
Awesome guide, thank you for putting this together. I ended up deciding to do my scorpion gun run yesterday and did finish it. It was not an ideal run at all. Yeeting the brute brother across the map and having to find them. Doing "The sequence" on foot. Trying to get a checkpoint between the blade master and Eschrum was annoying, no idea I could have just quit and restart. and that phase 3 harbinger fight was just insane, nearly two hours on that alone due to the skimmers always having perfect aim with their rockets. I finally got the timing right and was able to grenade spam/shoot the spawn doors as they open leaving only the chieftain to deal with.
Just completed my run tonight. Even with the Scorpion gun and the temporary invulnerabilty laser drill glitch, far from the cakewalk I imagined. Thank you for the guide, Mint Blitz.
Thank you for the help here. I followed this guide for a week slowly playing through it. I found that maxing out the thruster and using a sword really made things a lot easier. I also picked up jegas blood blade after the boss fight and it made it even easier. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without ya.
I find it amazing people find these short cuts/glitches. I hope most play it without at least once or its like sitting down for a good meal and then scoffing it as quickly as possible. Kinda defeats the point of it. Good vid. Very interesting overall.
my friend decided to try this while i watched his suffering, and the checkpoint thing was super evident very quickly as he restarted the mission well over 7 times, so we found out that if you die by grenades or explosives, killing yourself with a rocket it always great, it checkpoints for some odd reason. He tried it many times and it works, even mid fight lmao
Thanks for the guide...incredibly helpful...especially that skip for The Road...even with a tank gun, doing LASO normally through that mission would've been awful.
For anyone trying to find an easier way to beat Chak Lok without the scorpion gun, there’s a actually really small ledge that you can jump on once The Weapon says the doors are opened; jumping up to the upper door ledge that’s closest to him when the fight starts give you high ground so he can only shoot the carbine at you and throw the occasional plasma grade, making for a much easier fight!
Great video! Infinite LASO was a lot more fun than Infinite Legendary, that's for sure. EDIT: -I used dynamos to "spot" enemies hiding behind things. The electrical current will shoot out in the direction of an enemy. -There's a glitch where if you use your thruster with the tank cannon, you'll crouch and can't uncrouch unless you switch to another weapon and use the thruster again. -Audio cues were important. Listening for enemy deaths, dynamos hitting enemies, and listening for what weapon you have out. I died many times because I thought I had my sword out but instead it was the scorpion cannon and couldn't melee.
I’ve been dreading starting my first LASO campaign, and still am. On this Friday, I am going to start the Halo Infinite LASO and use as many exploits, glitches, and anything else as much as possible to insure it’s completion
I appreciate the tips and tricks man. This is by far the easiest LASO, was able to do it all in one day just playing a few hours at a time. Thanks for all that you give to the Halo community!
20:16/21:17 I'm sure I'm not the first to figure this out and forgive me if it's been posted before, but today I found an incredible way to get through the gondola section. Near where you push the button to activate the gondola, if you have the Thruster fully upgraded and angle yourself looking towards the door Chief will enter at the end, you can spam Thruster over and over to skip *every* sentinel on the way there. My fingers got pretty sore, but it definitely beats trying to kill everything without losing shields. You probably don't need to find a corner/angle to do it, but it worked super well for me.
Note when capturing FOBs: Do NOT any explosives such as the scorpion gun or rocket launcher. If you launch an enemy that does not die and they despawn, it does not count as the enemy is eliminated, so you won't be able to capture the FOB until all the enemies respawn. I just had to redo FOB Echo because of this issue.
In the tower boss, there’s actually a spot to hide in the roof, there’s 4 tall sections but only one of them has these lights you can stand on top of. It’s tricky to do. Once you’re up there. Wait for him to stand under you and throw the electric grenades and shoot him with the scorpion gun. It’s a slow method but it’s safe so you don’t lose shield.
Honestly I haven’t watched you in a while. But I’ve always been following waiting for the next halo to come out. I’m glad it’s came out because your videos are awesome!
The best success of this game is that 343i decided to let the player have fun his way exploring and pulling off tricks. Halo games should be like this from now on. Exploration and experimentation is one of the strongest points of this franchise. It SHOULD be. The upcoming updates should add more land exploration sites and intricate geometries for us to explore finding hidden items. Of course the missions and objectives will be the same but this neat feature gives the missing flavor that we lost in Halo 4 and Halo 5. I think that eventually those two games should be remade or revised a bit. The series deserves a high standard. Halo Infinite is a great start.
I was having an awful day until I remembered your videos make me happy but I didn’t remember your name so I searched warthog launched and found you! So I better subscribe so I’m always happy
For anyone struggling with the Brute Chieftain in the Auditorium, he's actually super easy. Get him coming at you around the dome the Harbinger is in and just walk backwards around the dome. Whenever he starts to attack (90% it's just a swing attack), thrust straight backwards. Use your gun of choice (no-scoping him in the head with a sniper was my go to, it drops him really fast). Rinse and repeat. Coincidentally this was the same strategy I used for the Harbinger. No-scope her with a sniper and just thrust whenever she teleports out of your line of sight to dodge her melee attack.
Holy hell knowing about how the full shield checkpoints work would have been so nice. I replayed foundation like 8 times before getting a checkpoint only halfway
Quick tip if you’re using the invincibility glitch, it stops working if you use those levers to raise silos in the outposts. I found out the hard way. Buttons still work but if there’s an animation then you can die afterwards to grenades
Easiest way if you don't want to skip or go invulnerable is scorpion gun + duellist sword. Scorpion gun for reasons mentioned, duellist sword because with it's faster movement and attack speed it makes getting your shields back easy. You can actually survive in the middle of pretty big groups of enemies with that thing since it constantly recharges your shields when attacking. And easiest way to kill things with the scorpion cannon is aim just next to/under things and send them to orbit or slamming into objects. Also, bandanna is a solid way for getting the achievements like using abilities 50 times, since they have instant recharge.
For the gondola sentinels section, you can just start the gondola, hop off and grapple the wall all the way to the door the gondola goes through. If you land on it, it will open for you and you can grapple all the way without sentinels shooting you or anything.
I did it man! Used the scorpion gun. Only thing I maxed out was thrusters, which came in handy. Should have done shields too but oh well. Thanks for the guide!
If you keep a gravity hammer equipped during the Escharum fight, you can time the swing to right when he rounds the corner and you will kill him quickly.
My tip for first boss (Tremonius), Rocket Launcher & Mandatory Energy Sword - take out jackals and just slice up tremonius. You get shields, a checkpoint, and the easiest boss fight of your entire halo infinite experience.
another tip - before you fight adjutant resolution v2 in Nexus, and you need to power up three things, DO THE MIDDLE ONE FIRST, because that one is the hardest to end with full shields as the other two rooms have more solid floor underfoot so you can more easily pummel the last monitor.
In the tower when fighting Chak lok I actually found a cheese glitch way to kill him. Use your grapple to go way up the recessed ceiling column, theres four options and they don't all work. I believe the left one (from where the fight starts) works best. At the very top there are four lights that you can sit on top of. From there just use the motion sensor and wait for him to come below you. Sometimes you have to walk around about for him to move. He might try to stick you but they never hit me or the lights. The only down side is you might take a hit so it's up to you if you try to finish him off on the floor and get a melee in to charge your shield and save or just carefully do a save trigger with full shields after.
You can actually skip that first tower around 18:55 on The Sequence by grappling all the way to the top. There will be a point where it might seem you can’t go any higher but because the grappling hook on LASO is unlimited you can actually spam the grapple button to go even higher and it’ll act like you went inside to activate it. You still gotta do the 4 beacons afterwards but it does save some time 🤷♂️ Not sure if anyone found this yet but it’s a good tactic for speed running a LASO run.
I actually found a pretty easy way to defeat the first boss. The little slopes on the side actually have an entrance way to go under the platform. What I did was go into the little entrance, stopping right before going under, turn around, and spam the other side of the little entrance with the electric gernades. I did that and he followed me and kept getting electrocuted. This stops him from being able to fly around and shoot you. I did that and destroyed him with rockets until he died pretty fast. About a minute if doing that. His Jackles will also follow you so that is a great way to take them out too
It's finally done, over 100 hours of editing, discovering strategies and incorporating new tricks.
I did LASO 3 times to try make the best video possible. I hope everyone enjoys.

@@Killzees tank gun+sword is probably the best you're gonna get, but chak lok is pretty tough either way. i went tank gun+sword combo and eventually got it after a little while, but it was still kinda hard. mainly just gotta keep moving and use those threat sensors
@@deangray. can I switch weapons while holding the tank gun??
I considered a section in the video for just this but it’s so easy already with the grapple and unlimited ammo 😂
Also I’ll add sometimes camo doesn’t work and they still see you which was odd
@@MintBlitz i know enemies just don't care and see you anyways
Scorpion gun and thrust is glitched, if you thrust while holding the gun you're permanently crouched

Having the duellist energy sword in my back pocket for the whole playthrough was a huge lifesaver for me
@Matthew long lunge, fast recovery, more damage, basically superior in every conceivable way. Better jump too.
With the Adjutant Resolution (monitor fights), it's actually possible to blast off multiple arms at once using the scorpion gun.
Yup shoot the eye like 5 times
Just spent the day collecting all the skulls on easy. Never done Legendary or LASO before, wish me luck!
You won't just need luck, you'll need plenty of juice too.
Good luck! I myself have just started as well and so far am reconsidering my life choices.
@@starhammer5247 I do need luck cause for some stupid reason everytime I save and quit it puts me back at the beginning of the mission. Just got all the way to the boss on level 2, quit out, hit continue and now I'm back at the beginning. I got multiple checkpoints throughout so dno why but it's really winding me up
@@Brewer_ I see, then you need more luck than I expected.
Make sure you’re killing and hitting enemies with a melee. How’s your current progress so far?
Thanks for the tips bro
My man
How do you deal with the invisibility when enemies see you though it all the time?
@@JoviaI1 keep spamming it and moving around, I didn’t fight any single room I wasn’t forced to after I got the thruster
@@zecuse not tried this but this tip if valid is extremely valuable and should be its own comment so more people can see it
@@jawn6955 I made a separate comment that includes this as I was watching the video. It was mostly me remarking how fusion coils make most of the bosses trivial though.

Awwwwe yeah awesome video! Personally I get the tank cannon, skip the dig with the laser trick and max out the dodge power so you can just invisibility the whole way hehehe

@@laary7589 who cares. It's just an achievement and if you want to do it legit do it.
Laso is all about getting through it the easiest way possible. Everything is fair game.

Figured this out yesterday yet to try it but blew my mind thinking about it
Wow this laso looks so much easier than all the other games. Thanks for the guide
Because of glitches
Bandana definitely makes it a lot easier, I’d like to try a no bandana no scorpion gun LASO run sometime
its only easier if you cheese (cheat) your way through it. I prefer to do it the pureblood way, if you will.
Just started LASO yesterday after beating the campaign on legendary. This was helpful
@Matthew in some ways LASO is easier because of the bandana skull, plus if you get the tank gun. Just maintain your shields and get those checkpoints
I finished the AA guns but I'll still watch this tip,Laso is very easy but gotta say, you are a legend bro
Thank you bro, you’re a legend. Got it done in 10 hours with your guide. I usually don’t attempt LASO mode, but this one was fun and approachable. You’re basically OP with tank gun, sniper rifle and full shields.
I thought this was friggin impossible until I remembered the Bandana skull.
Scorpion cannon
Easiest campaign yet you should actually watch the video
For Chak like, you can throw the threat senor on the central pillar and look up. Their is a tall cavern that you can grapple up.
I cheesed the fight in about 5 minutes by constantly grappling back the cavern and tossing shock grenades down. Chak Lok will stand under you the entire time.
That’s exactly what I did! Just kept grappling up there and occasionally looking down and blindly firing my scorpion gun. I was bound to hit something and managed to kill him easily.
@@Omega4Productions Yea, it took one try and like 5 min. Easiest boss fight in the game imo.
@@Omega4Productions can't you stay up there?
@@jamesb7205 If you can I couldn’t find a ledge to do so. You wouldn’t want to anyway because you still need to lure Chak ‘Lok out of hiding so you can shoot him from that vantage point and he likes hit and run tactics.
A tip for the gondola with sentinels. There are two walkways with a wall on the outside of a 90 degree curve. Stand with your back against it and place a drop wall in front of you. Easy sniping from there on out.
In the room following there is a bridge with many sentinels. You can spider man below the bridge to get to the end without fighting annoying sentinels
This video proves that not all heroes wear capes
Glad I listen to this video. I would've skipped the entire game and never gotten the achievement. This video was a tremendous help.
This video couldn't have come at a better time. Was just about to start my LASO run!
4 hours for Laso? Alright buddy

My trick with the skimmers is actually used to gravity hammer
If you get up close to them they don't shoot they're rocket launchers, you can clear whole crowds with the gravity hammer
I really used a gravity hammer for most of the my run, Dynamo grenades into gravity hammer, my secondary weapon switched from rocket launcher to needler to Sentinel beams
Bro you just saved me hours with that dynamo grenade tip, I had no idea how op they were
For Excavation Site, this mission can absolutely be done a lot faster and easier. You can melee one to get your health back before the boss fight if you take any damage at all
Which one is the one on the left
@@__skillz Left side if you're facing towards where the laser is firing
I wanted to leave a great big thank you for making this video. You my friend are truly Mythic!! I couldn't have finished my LASO run without it. It even helped me get the Forza Veloce achievement too. It's the one where you have to finish the campaign in less than 8 hours.

Thanks to your guide (really just giving me the courage to do the task) I somehow beat laso in 4:07:26. I’ve never completed a laso nor have I ever tried speed running but GOT DAMN am I proud of this
Yeah, this Is the easiest laso of all, the Best starter if you wanna do all the other games
A big, big, big thank you for this. Just finished. I was in high school when 3 came out and this is my first LASO. People say this is a good one to start LASO, but man I need a nap after this.
Just beat LASO for the first time since halo 2 (legitimately)
This video gave me life thaaaaaaaank you!!
Having the thrusters maxed out and zooming around with an energy sword was the funnest time I had playing laso.
this guide is going to be so helpful, gotten through the tower now, gonna go do invulnerability and then go around destroying everything to get max valor and all the spartan cores to make the rest of the run less painful
I'm sure there are still some issues with this boss fight, but it went very smooth for me spamming threat sensor.
just completed my halo laso run 5 hrs bc of ur video 👍
I was getting the absolute worst checkpoints on the house of reckoning. This video definitely helped. I was raging because of Escharum killing me in one shot
Also I couldn’t imagine doing it without the scorpion gun or energy sword
Thank you very much, I did it with your guide (without the excavation site glitch but with the Scorpion turret) and I must say it was so helpful the LASO was a piece of cake.
Thank you kind Sir !
If it wasn’t for this video I never would have completed it. Thank you.
I kinda like that LASO throws you a bone with Bandana. It turns LASO into a new experience, rather than just the hardestcore challenge of the game.
Thank you so Mint Blitz! Just completed LASO, your guide made this much easier!
Thank you! First ever LASO clear done in 6 hours. This helped me a lot!
Infinite LASO is almost like a mix of halo and spiderman😂
Been waiting for this now it’s time I do laso
The first two missions were so hard, but now I'm cruisin'. Its actually really fun to play LASO in this one. I hope it stays this way lol.
I was waiting for this video thanks Mint👍much love from Seattle!
Thanks, papa Mint! This helped me grind it out before season 2 took away the tank gun
1:59 that’s what’s screwing me over! Was wondering if it was because I had the scorpion gun. Good to know
Great video! Infinite LASO was a lot more fun than Infinite Legendary, that's for sure.
EDIT:
-I used dynamos to "spot" enemies hiding behind things.

I'm sure I'm not the first to figure this out and forgive me if it's been posted before, but today I found an incredible way to get through the gondola section.
That infinite Invisible thrusters is really helpful in the final section and the last boss fight.
Remy, you are an absolute legend! Bless you!
Thanks for this guide! I beat LASO (also my first) in 4 hours and 13 minutes of in game time.
I was having an awful day until I remembered your videos make me happy but I didn’t remember your name so I searched warthog launched and found you!
So I better subscribe so I’m always happy
You're the man, Blitz. Thanks for all your hard work!
I'm finishing this this evening, started my run yesterday and on mission 9. The shock grenades are a life saver 😎
You mean dynamo grenades.
@@jayl3gend958 I call them shock grenades just like I call plasma's 'stickies'
Very true I know everyone has other names of grenades.

Thanks for this guide! I am ready to take on LASO
I punched the door at 5:07 a single time and it opened, and I haven't died on this LASO run up to this point. I must be OP
Thanks so much for this, it helped a lot with my run, prior to this, I was not able to clear Warship Gbrakken
Quick tip if you’re using the invincibility glitch, it stops working if you use those levers to raise silos in the outposts. I found out the hard way. Buttons still work but if there’s an animation then you can die afterwards to grenades
Is there a trick to this glitch? Because I can’t manage to do it
Easiest way if you don't want to skip or go invulnerable is scorpion gun + duellist sword.
The sword could also be very helpfull. Well, it helped me at least
It really helped me with the final fight, would definitely recommend.
I did it man! Used the scorpion gun. Only thing I maxed out was thrusters, which came in handy. Should have done shields too but oh well. Thanks for the guide!
one tip, if you are clearing fobs be careful if enimes go flying away sometimes they despawn not counting towards claiming the fob
Dude you’re the man - so much I didn’t know and REALLY appreciate.
If you keep a gravity hammer equipped during the Escharum fight, you can time the swing to right when he rounds the corner and you will kill him quickly.
This is definitely by far one of the easiest ones and I also finished In about 6 hours without the cannon 😄 congrats dude
you didn't even passed mission 1, right? 😂
The only down side is you might take a hit so it's up to you if you try to finish him off on the floor and get a melee in to charge your shield and save or just carefully do a save trigger with full shields after.
just an extra tip: The scorpion gun reloads while holstered
You can actually skip that first tower around 18:55 on The Sequence by grappling all the way to the top. There will be a point where it might seem you can’t go any higher but because the grappling hook on LASO is unlimited you can actually spam the grapple button to go even higher and it’ll act like you went inside to activate it.
You still gotta do the 4 beacons afterwards but it does save some time 🤷♂️
Not sure if anyone found this yet but it’s a good tactic for speed running a LASO run.
This video was extremely helpful, thank you.
