@@laary7589 You get 75% extra shields, it seems impossible that they can still 3sk. But sure Ill go test it tomorrow to check, either way its definitely the one you wanna max out.
A tip I would add is fully upgrade your thrusters. The last perk gives you 4 seconds of invisibility, and with the Bandana Skull you can spam your thrusters and fly through a mission, staying invisible the entire time. Another one would be to always keep a sword on you and go after grunts and jackals last if possible using the sword when fighting large groups. That way you fully heal up and get your checkpoint. I finished LASO a few days ago and only just learned about the full health checkpoint thing during the Harbinger fight so there were many times I died and went back like 30 minutes or whatever cause I didn't fully heal.
I considered a section in the video for just this but it’s so easy already with the grapple and unlimited ammo 😂 Also I’ll add sometimes camo doesn’t work and they still see you which was odd
@@MintBlitz If you're invisible and within around 5 meters of the enemy and they're facing you they will spot you, if youre behind them it shouldn't proc them. Also once you've proc'd them you need thrust behind a wall/object and go invisible again and they will stop tracking you!
6:10 It is very worth it to kill the ultra elite and take his sword here. The sword works with black eye so you can heal much better. It also trivializes the Tremonius fight.

"You need full shields for a checkpoint" I realized this right at the end of my LASO run with the scorpion gun. The pain and suffering that came from restarting entire sections could've been avoided
Ikr? I had to repeat Chak ‘Lok’s boss 12-15 times before I discovered it. Not only that, but it made me go back to right before even entering the Tower, so I’d have to do the entire gauntlet again before even getting a chance to fight him again!
@@Omega4Productions Same here. Its been dumb. Now I think my pelican down mission is glitched at the end and won't let me get the pilot. Gunna do some more searching tonight
@@Pathogen87 They never give you a guaranteed recharge after a mission. You need to manually make sure your shields up at all times or you'll never get a checkpoint.
Finished my LASO run yesterday, I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to FULLY UPGRADE YOUR THRUSTERS! The 4 seconds of invisibility that you can spam indefinitely thanks to Bandanna absolutely trivialises some sections that would otherwise be agonising. You can spam it during the long gondola ride and the sentinels won't even see you. You can use it to close the distance to enemies for a shield recharge melee then move back behind cover before they spot you. You can use it to get behind hunters easily. If the warthog launch doesn't work for you in The Road (it didn't for me) then you can just spam thrust your way to the House Of Reckoning instead, only a few enemies spotted me and all they could do was fire at where I was several thrusts ago, they literally cannot keep up with you if you zig zag a bit. Best of all its great for avoiding the Harbingers instakill orbs, at least it was for me.
Bro infinite Escape Velocity and Duelist blade And Dynamo grenades I 100 percent LASO and literally raped entire Banished army. How overpowered is this? I stood face to face with Tovarus, Escharum, and Brute Hammer Chieftains with blade and arcane sentinel beam and just melted them. This is like the one exploit he doesn’t mention that basically breaks LASO. I didn’t even use Scorpion Gun once.
@@starhammer5247 I do need luck cause for some stupid reason everytime I save and quit it puts me back at the beginning of the mission. Awwwwe yeah awesome video! Personally I get the tank cannon, skip the dig with the laser trick and max out the dodge power so you can just invisibility the whole way hehehe
@@laary7589 If you’re about to make the claim LASO is about fighting every enemy engagement possible with traditional weaponry and tactics I think we’re all about to laugh in your face.
Something not mentioned here is that if you max out "invisi-thruster" then infinite equipment means you can just spam and scoot through every room without a locked door, which is most of them, and is much faster than room clearing.
TL;DR: Get an energy sword asap, kill Tremonius Jackal adds by Grappling high and taking them out with Grenades, then take out Tremonius shields and finish him with the Energy Sword (he will not stagger until you drop his shields) grab Scorpion Gun (Optional), go get the Duelist Energy Sword from Okro ‘Vagaduun, slick your way to max Thruster level by hunting down Spartan Cores (3 at Outpost Tremonis and several around FOBs make this extremely quick and easy) then just dash your way through all enemies without problems, clear Excavation Site, kill Thav Sebarim for his Arcane Sentinel Beam if you aren't using the Scorpion Cannon, use the Energy Sword/Scorpion Gun or Arcane Sentinel Beam + Thruster spam to take out any enemies you are forced to deal with, the Gondola with all the sentinels can be skipped by clinging to the wall entirely until you reach the end the sentinels won't spawn, kill Jega 'Rdomnai and take his literally busted Energy Sword over the Duelist one and absolutely blast through the remainder of the game with god tier weapons and beat the last boss easily. I beat LASO in 1 hour and 45 minutes and I know people are clearing faster with those methods. Seriously, no enemy can deal with infinite invisibility, it makes LASO in Infinite easier than Legendary by a mile. Great video showcasing just how silly LASO can be :)
For anyone who did the invincibility glitch, if I activate a cutscene, do I stop being invincible? I’m worried if I go get the drop wall and the thrusters, I’ll be killed like an idiot thinking I’m untouchable.
If anyone happens to see this comment and is struggling on Chak Lok, I just beat him first try in under a minute. Like the video suggested, stacking up the coils on one spot helps. The thing that made him easy was spamming the threat sensor. When you initially throw one, it immediately scans the area. If you throw another, it scans instantly again, instead of waiting to pulse. If you keep throwing them, you will never lose track of him. I'm sure there are still some issues with this boss fight, but it went very smooth for me spamming threat sensor.
Haven't even finished the video yet and I'm shocked at how he skipped foundation because I did not know these skips, you're amazing man, atleast you'll help through the 3rd half of the game! Thanks bro
As soon as you get cloaking thrusters, the whole thing gets significantly easier and faster, by just spamming it everywhere past enemies, with the variant duelist sword to refill health. Nice to see you post a tutorial for people that haven't done it yet. I also grapple skipped all the rooms, bridges, elevators, and gondolas, I wasn't forced to activate, by spamming grapple at walls and ceilings.
7:33 I disagree. Fusion coils are best. You can use the grappleshot to pull yourself from behind the large ones to push them across the room to where Tremonius will spawn. 10:06 See the note. 14:07 Like with Tremonius, you can push the large coils by pulling yourself with the grappleshot from behind them, even up ramps but be careful that they don't roll down (you can't stop them). If you put the coils more forward, around where the thin rectangles in the texture begins, you can one shot him after the cutscene. They won't move or take damage during the scene and it's pretty funny. 21:20 You can completely skip the gondola ride and all of the Sentinels! Activate it and return to the door you entered to this giant room. Now grapple along the wall to the middle of the map. Grapple in front of the door to open it because it doesn't care about the gondola! Finally grapple along the right side again so you'll be at the door you need to exit. I couldn't find a platform to rest on during all of this, so you have to constantly grapple something to not fall to your death. 25:04 Like with Bassus, you can also bring the large ones up the ramp by pulling yourself with the grapplshot from behind them. There's never enough overkill! 25:45 OK, last time I swear. You can also put a couple of fusion coils (including a big 1 or 2) where Escharum will be and blow them up for the same effect. Just don't put too many in this spot or you might also die from the giant explosion. Fusion coils really are the MVP of this game!
I love this. I'm going to restart my Laso to cheese my way through for the 8hr achievement, so... Legendary All Skips Only time. The delivery of high quality gourmet cheese is appreciated.
I was getting the absolute worst checkpoints on the house of reckoning. This video definitely helped. I was raging because of Escharum killing me in one shot
TIP: At 21:19 you mentioned it was a slightly difficult part to get past but I found a trick that I used to not fight the sentinels: I upgraded my thrust to max (which gives you invisibility at the end of your thrust for 4 seconds) and I just thrusted into a back corner of the gondola every 4 seconds to stay invisible. Super easy to pass if you've maxed out your thruster.
You can also use the grappleshot along the right side of the room and avoid the gondola altogether! Just activate it and get off, it won't continue without you. I got curious because of how the elevator worked just before the Harbinger cutscene. If you get too far from it by either falling back down or super grappling up (it appears to impart momentum on you), it'll go back down (the elevator has to be with you to trigger the next part of that level). For the gondola though, curiously, the door in the middle only cares about you! So just grapple in front of it and go through.
@@jawn6955 I made a separate comment that includes this as I was watching the video. It was mostly me remarking how fusion coils make most of the bosses trivial though.
@@SunSunSunn No it's not "only easier if you cheese your way through." Bandana is on by requirement for LASO in Infinite, and with bandana, you can easily waltz through the game with a rocket launcher and energy sword. No glitches required.
@@343Films Did you easily watz through the game without cheesing, no scorp gun, and no level skipping, and killing every enemy? and no cheeses on boss fights? I highly doubt it
Can confirm that of you skip straight to the road and complete the game that you can unlock the Laso achievement. If you die at the second spire, save and quit you'll reload back there with no kill barrier. You can unlock the 4 beacon towers and complete all 4 to unlock the achievement.
Thanks for this, just doing LASO myself and there were definitely some tips here that would have made things easier. Love the vehicle skip you do to the house or reckoning.
For Chak like, you can throw the threat senor on the central pillar and look up. Their is a tall cavern that you can grapple up. I cheesed the fight in about 5 minutes by constantly grappling back the cavern and tossing shock grenades down. Chak Lok will stand under you the entire time.
That’s exactly what I did! Just kept grappling up there and occasionally looking down and blindly firing my scorpion gun. I was bound to hit something and managed to kill him easily.
@@aceykerr8752 Hard disagree tbh. While I found him easier on Heroic, he was for some reason the toughest boss for me to deal with on LASO. I wiped the floor with Tremonius, both Adjutant Resolutions, Bassus (killed him in five seconds), Escharum, Jega and the Harbinger. Chak 'Lok gave me the most trouble for some reason.
@@jamesb7205 If you can I couldn’t find a ledge to do so. You wouldn’t want to anyway because you still need to lure Chak ‘Lok out of hiding so you can shoot him from that vantage point and he likes hit and run tactics.
I would play laso, but I’m not repeating the whole game to get the skulls I’m missing lol, will wait for the mission select to be added (which is f’ing crazy to say… a basic feature)
This is all really cool but takes away from the fun of the game imo, I wish the Marines didn't die so easily and you could command them on what to do.. I would much rather bring an army of marines to battle then using all these "glitches" and lame ass weird shit🤦😂😂
I really wish I had watched this video before I did my LASO run lol, would have saved me a lot of time and torture. I did end up discovering the shield-checkpoint thing on my own, so that’s good. Helped me get consistent checkpoints. I’m on the last level now. Tell you what, I think Boom skull actually makes enemies easier to deal with on LASO than on normal Legendary. Using the secret gun I managed to launch Tovarus immediately into the air during his boss and he died on the way back down. Then I did the same to Hyperius. Splatter damage is OP for bosses. I wasn’t able to splatter Escharum like you showed here, but I killed him pretty easily regardless. I’ve also found that the “melee to get shields back” strat works even better if you have an energy sword/grav hammer secondary since their main attacks count as a melee. So many of the skimmer sections I was able to beat doing that because a) they gave me shields when I did it and b) sword is instant kill for skimmers, even with Mythic. Even Brutes with the rockets are two hit kills (sometimes three) and it stuns them relatively consistently after each hit. A bunch of other stuff I wish I knew though. The grapple fly, the sentinel beam strat for the Nexus (holy shit the section with the nostalgia berries and the shock sentinels actually gave me anxiety), the fusion coil cheese for Bassus and Jega (I got one hit killed in Escharum’s fight and it made me repeat Jega’s boss again. Thankfully I managed to get a melee in with my sword before killing him again and it gave me a checkpoint immediately after killing Jega). One odd quirk with the Blind skull I’ve noticed is with the shield recharge sound. Normally there’s no sound for it at all with Blind. It doesn’t beep if it’s down and it doesn’t make the recharge sound. HOWEVER, if you hijack a vehicle it counts as a melee, so it’ll recharge your shields. Not only that, but for some reason, in that specific instance, it’ll make the recharge sound. Not sure if that’s a bug or not, but it seems too weirdly specific to be intentional. Another weird bug I discovered during my run was on the bridge section of the first level. I managed to get through it all and destroy the engines, triggering the escape sequence, only to die to a box being flung at me, forcing me to redo the bridge section from the beginning. However, for some reason, this doesn’t disable the “escape state” for the ship, so the alarms will continue to blare and the skybox for outside the ship will be briefly glitched into a white texture. The texture part seems to fix itself after a second, but the alarms keep going off. Not game breaking, just thought it was funny.
Hey I want to start a LASO run but for some reason my game only shows 11 skulls out of the 12 that I can activate. The black eyes skull is the one I can’t activate but I found all the skulls already. Is there anyway to fix this bug/glitch??
I managed to stop ai spawning a few times in the game. I have not gotten it 100% consistent but, you arm as many marines as possible and spawn more weapons until it can't spawn any more, it won't spawn any other enemy's. Essentially you can capture Fobs, banished outposts and eliminate HVTs without seeing or fighting anyone. If the game can't spawn the the HVTS it automatically marks them as eliminated. This appears to be temporary because after a while enemy's will start spawning again. I suspect it has to do with how long the marines you arm with other weapons are spawned for.
LASO in Infinite is like: 343 'non dev': overpower everything 343 dev: overpower everything but the Chief, ok 343 'non dev': no, overpower EVERYTHING 343 dev: oohhhh
for the first boss what i did was hook ,melee, plasma nade, back up a bit then hook and repeat, kill the two shield jackles first. he didnt even get to shoot or hit back
Great video, I found that tank cannon and energy sword was most efficient, took me around 4 hrs. Was great fun to have a super lethal mode instead of having to cheese everything like previous games
@@EinsteinOnCrack He's definitely not lying. My LASO save file says 4 hours 14 minutes after completing the game and fucking around in the open world for probably around 10 minutes before quitting to the menu. LASO is wayyyy easier in this game than any other Halo
I ran into an issue. After I start my game for the first time and select continue campaign, it loads my LASO progress but I can see my HUD. Obviously that's not supposed to happen with Blind skull. I immediately quit and did a load game instead. But I'm wondering if this would affect my progress.
I actually found through replay using evasive, red energy sword, and rocket launcher helped me all the way. My achievement didn’t pop. I did notice though, the mission the Tower will not update to Legendary+. It only shows completed. I think that’s the glitch that needs to be patched. I played through the mission a 3rd time thinking maybe I skipped too fast but nope. Nothing. Can anyone verify if that shows for them too? Who has completed the run and has the achievement unlocked?
With Chak Lok boss I actually found a strategy for defeating him. First use the electric grenades and motion sensor. Then You just spam energy sword and grapple. I was surprised it actually worked for me lol
My trick with the skimmers is actually used to gravity hammer If you get up close to them they don't shoot they're rocket launchers, you can clear whole crowds with the gravity hammer I really used a gravity hammer for most of the my run, Dynamo grenades into gravity hammer, my secondary weapon switched from rocket launcher to needler to Sentinel beams
Did my LASO run on my own a few years back, WITHOUT the tank gun, and it took me around 20 hours. I used the special energy sword and the special rocket launcher basically the entire run. Shock grenades are pog, and the unlimited grapples saved my life multiple times.
A tip for the gondola with sentinels. There are two walkways with a wall on the outside of a 90 degree curve. Stand with your back against it and place a drop wall in front of you. Easy sniping from there on out. In the room following there is a bridge with many sentinels. You can spider man below the bridge to get to the end without fighting annoying sentinels
In the second boss fight, i found that if you jump up on the two tiny ledges next to the trapped spartan, he can't hit you with the sword and he'll stand next to you confused until he switches to his plasma gun. That's when it gets tricky but I had to hop off, and shoot back while switching sides using the spartan as cover the entire time. It tricks the a.i. a little bit when you jump on the sides. Gotta use that scanner each time you switch sides so you know where he is at all times. Such an amazing game. Just about to beat it on legendary myself.
For Excavation Site, this mission can absolutely be done a lot faster and easier. When I did it, I destroyed the shade turrets beforehand then immediately beelined for the control room after triggering the laser. For each side of the laser, enemies won't spawn until you raise the fuel cells. And if you're using the scorpion gun, it only takes one shot to destroy both. Relative to the laser, the one on the left can be done very quickly and you can get back to the grav lift before most enemies spawn. The other side, I like to go up the ramp to the cliff and take everything out from up there. When you do that, you'll just have a few sniper jackals to deal with and some shield jackals in a cave and not much else. You can melee one to get your health back before the boss fight if you take any damage at all
Halo Infinite had the most easiest LASO out of all the Halo games. The tank gun just made LASO as it was on easy mode. I did not feel it as rewarding as the other games i have completed on LASO. Should 343i remove the tank gun or disable achivements by picking the tank gun up? My answer: No, that are just gonna piss people off those that did not do it yet. But when the campaign expansion comes out, they could make you start fresh with new weapons or something like that, so LASO on the DLC will play as its LASO and not this easy mode.
So are you saying that after a mission you can exit to main menu and reload to make a checkpoint even if not at full shields? If so, do you "continue" or "load game"?
I wanted to leave a great big thank you for making this video. You my friend are truly Mythic!! I couldn't have finished my LASO run without it. It even helped me get the Forza Veloce achievement too. It's the one where you have to finish the campaign in less than 8 hours. Have a like on this video and subscription to your channel from me. You've more than earned it.
I always played halo on legendary. Never bothered with the other difficulties unless to get achievements quickly. But I never had the patience to try and beat LASO on previous halo's mostly due to the Iron skull. But I will give it a shot in infinite! Update: In 4h and a half I'm already at Nexus. The tank gun + Energy sword is so OP it's not even funny. With that weapon combination, LASO is actually A LOT easier than standard Legendary (without the tank gun).
my friend decided to try this while i watched his suffering, and the checkpoint thing was super evident very quickly as he restarted the mission well over 7 times, so we found out that if you die by grenades or explosives, killing yourself with a rocket it always great, it checkpoints for some odd reason. He tried it many times and it works, even mid fight lmao
Pro tip: Keep a sword on hand and with the infinite grapple you can fly around like your multiplayer's worst nightmare and deal some serious damage. Especially useful in the room with all of the skimmers where Despondent Pyre dies. Its near the end of the Conservatory mission 6
Note when capturing FOBs: Do NOT any explosives such as the scorpion gun or rocket launcher. If you launch an enemy that does not die and they despawn, it does not count as the enemy is eliminated, so you won't be able to capture the FOB until all the enemies respawn. I just had to redo FOB Echo because of this issue.
used the scorpion gun and i still died a bunch and it bugged out a lot at points where you need to eliminate all enemies, it kept saying theres more when theres not
That happened to me a lot too. It's not actually a bug. When trying to capture a fob all the enemies at that fob need to be killed in order to capture it. It doesn't matter if they're far away or not. Sometimes if you miss with the scorpion gun, the cowbell skull will launch enemies a far distance. They may survive and that'll prevent you from capturing the fob. My advice is to either grenade spam to capture fobs or use another weapon like the sniper rifle to clear out enemies at the fobs
i had this issue with the four beacons mission, the scorpion gun would yeet enemies through geometry but they’d still have a marker on them… happened on one fob and a couple marine squads, too, especially if they were near the edge where you can fall into space
For anyone trying to find an easier way to beat Chak Lok without the scorpion gun, there’s a actually really small ledge that you can jump on once The Weapon says the doors are opened; jumping up to the upper door ledge that’s closest to him when the fight starts give you high ground so he can only shoot the carbine at you and throw the occasional plasma grade, making for a much easier fight!
Thank you bro, you’re a legend. Got it done in 10 hours with your guide. I usually don’t attempt LASO mode, but this one was fun and approachable. You’re basically OP with tank gun, sniper rifle and full shields.
After beating this on legendary. The best is to repeat it on legendary with cheats. I use God mode and speed run. I'm also looking for the skulls since you can't choose what levels to repeat yet.
Quick tip if you’re using the invincibility glitch, it stops working if you use those levers to raise silos in the outposts. I found out the hard way. Buttons still work but if there’s an animation then you can die afterwards to grenades
Yeah, honestly thunderstorm does a lot to help make things easier because of the default weapons enemies spawn with. As well as bandana of course. They really made this game's LASO super easy considering the skulls they chose to include in the game and the way they incorporated the skulls by not having scoring settings for each.
Do you have to do everything for the achievement? The achievement description reads as "Complete all main missions on Legendary with all Skulls active." Also, things like audio logs and armories carry between saves
I found a great strategy for the brothers on pelican down, all you need is the BR and take out Tovarus first. there is a spot all the east near of where he stands, thats where the BR is. All you have to do is just go far enough out of his range and just mow him down with the BR, takes a while but he won't be firing back, he'll just take laps but as long as you have threat sensor you can see him, he ends up going back to right below the platform and just stands there. Next, for Hyperius, he'll be off his chopper by now, use thruster to go across the map to the west side and there is a rock formation by the metal pillars that lets you do the same thing, except I used the rocket launcher and sent him flying off the map into the ring and boom 1 shot kill xD
I have completed the first 2 missions without using glitches and without leaving the game at all and the achievement does not progress, it is still at 0%, has it happened to someone and they still have the achievement?
Thanks for the guide...incredibly helpful...especially that skip for The Road...even with a tank gun, doing LASO normally through that mission would've been awful.
Does anybody what have trouble with training checkpoints in this game? I keep my shields up and I know I have recent checkpoints, but if I End Game to go do multiplayer or something Ave try to load or continue my save later, it resets to the beginning of the level and half the time disables my Skulls well.
How difficult do you think the LASO is compared to none-skull legendary? i actually thought the normal one was pretty managable and am considering trying a LASO run.
How to save exactly? I didnt understand the part where he quits the game and reload. He does a checkpoint if you do it? Can someone help? Merry Christmas also and thnx for the helo Mint.!
24:55 Okay, I can't defeat Jega 'Rdomnai. The problem is that the fusion coils despawn, one after one, after I put them down in a pile. This has happened a lot on my LASO save, and mysteriously only on my LASO save and it really sucks.
Just beat the game in one sitting. I skipped most of the missions. Never went back to the main menu once. Headmaster is still 0%. F this game... Sucks most people got the achievement even with skipping missions. Guess I'll have to pester 343 with my recordings and screenshots to force them to unlock the achievement for me.
I actually found a pretty easy way to defeat the first boss. The little slopes on the side actually have an entrance way to go under the platform. What I did was go into the little entrance, stopping right before going under, turn around, and spam the other side of the little entrance with the electric gernades. I did that and he followed me and kept getting electrocuted. This stops him from being able to fly around and shoot you. I did that and destroyed him with rockets until he died pretty fast. About a minute if doing that. His Jackles will also follow you so that is a great way to take them out too
So another good piece of advice because you’re going to need shields I’ve upgraded the thruster all the way and used the energy sword for the last few lvls much stronger melee and if there’s a sniper I just whip out ol the scorpion gun or boom scoot my green arse over there and take care of em

Does this mean if i best a mission and then die after that mission ill need to beat the mission again or do the shields recharge after each mission
@@Pathogen87 They never give you a guaranteed recharge after a mission. You need to manually make sure your shields up at all times or you'll never get a checkpoint.
ooooooof. That's rough buddy.
Interesting. I used the thrusters maybe just enough times to get the achievement use thrusters 50 times lmao
Odd, I had to rely solely on sensors and grapple since each time I tried using the thrusters I was stuck crouching until death.
@Xelphos Yes, thank you
Bro infinite Escape Velocity and Duelist blade And Dynamo grenades I 100 percent LASO and literally raped entire Banished army.
That’s a bitch move tho
Just spent the day collecting all the skulls on easy. Never done Legendary or LASO before, wish me luck!
You won't just need luck, you'll need plenty of juice too.
Good luck! I myself have just started as well and so far am reconsidering my life choices.
@@starhammer5247 I do need luck cause for some stupid reason everytime I save and quit it puts me back at the beginning of the mission. Just got all the way to the boss on level 2, quit out, hit continue and now I'm back at the beginning. I got multiple checkpoints throughout so dno why but it's really winding me up
@@Brewer_ I see, then you need more luck than I expected.
Make sure you’re killing and hitting enemies with a melee. How’s your current progress so far?
Awwwwe yeah awesome video! Personally I get the tank cannon, skip the dig with the laser trick and max out the dodge power so you can just invisibility the whole way hehehe
Hell yeah!
@@laary7589 who cares. It's just an achievement and if you want to do it legit do it.
Laso is all about getting through it the easiest way possible. Everything is fair game.
@@laary7589 If you’re about to make the claim LASO is about fighting every enemy engagement possible with traditional weaponry and tactics I think we’re all about to laugh in your face.
Figured this out yesterday yet to try it but blew my mind thinking about it
Something not mentioned here is that if you max out "invisi-thruster" then infinite equipment means you can just spam and scoot through every room without a locked door, which is most of them, and is much faster than room clearing.
With the Adjutant Resolution (monitor fights), it's actually possible to blast off multiple arms at once using the scorpion gun.
Yup shoot the eye like 5 times
Thanks for the tips bro
My man
How do you deal with the invisibility when enemies see you though it all the time?
@@JoviaI1 keep spamming it and moving around, I didn’t fight any single room I wasn’t forced to after I got the thruster
For anyone who did the invincibility glitch, if I activate a cutscene, do I stop being invincible? I’m worried if I go get the drop wall and the thrusters, I’ll be killed like an idiot thinking I’m untouchable.
So when the Covenant or Banished scream "Demon"
They arent referring to Chief, theyre referring to Mint Blitz
If anyone happens to see this comment and is struggling on Chak Lok, I just beat him first try in under a minute. Like the video suggested, stacking up the coils on one spot helps. The thing that made him easy was spamming the threat sensor. When you initially throw one, it immediately scans the area. If you throw another, it scans instantly again, instead of waiting to pulse. If you keep throwing them, you will never lose track of him. I'm sure there are still some issues with this boss fight, but it went very smooth for me spamming threat sensor.
Anyone else not getting the achievement after the Season 2 update? It’s stuck at 88% and says I haven’t collected the Bandana skill yet.
Same
Haven't even finished the video yet and I'm shocked at how he skipped foundation because I did not know these skips, you're amazing man, atleast you'll help through the 3rd half of the game!
Having the duellist energy sword in my back pocket for the whole playthrough was a huge lifesaver for me
@Matthew long lunge, fast recovery, more damage, basically superior in every conceivable way. Better jump too.
Also I couldn’t imagine doing it without the scorpion gun or energy sword
@@zecuse not tried this but this tip if valid is extremely valuable and should be its own comment so more people can see it
@@jawn6955 I made a separate comment that includes this as I was watching the video. It was mostly me remarking how fusion coils make most of the bosses trivial though.
I thought this was friggin impossible until I remembered the Bandana skull.
Scorpion cannon
Easiest campaign yet you should actually watch the video
Wow this laso looks so much easier than all the other games. Thanks for the guide
Because of glitches
Bandana definitely makes it a lot easier, I’d like to try a no bandana no scorpion gun LASO run sometime
its only easier if you cheese (cheat) your way through it. I prefer to do it the pureblood way, if you will.
Nice. I'm still at 0% and just beat LASO. Really disappointed at this. First LASO and no achievement is extremely underwhelming.
Thanks for this, just doing LASO myself and there were definitely some tips here that would have made things easier.

I finished the AA guns but I'll still watch this tip,Laso is very easy but gotta say, you are a legend bro
This helped me loads with this achievement, thanks so much!
The sword could also be very helpfull. Well, it helped me at least
It really helped me with the final fight, would definitely recommend.
@@Omega4Productions Yea, it took one try and like 5 min. Easiest boss fight in the game imo.
@@Omega4Productions can't you stay up there?
@@jamesb7205 If you can I couldn’t find a ledge to do so. You wouldn’t want to anyway because you still need to lure Chak ‘Lok out of hiding so you can shoot him from that vantage point and he likes hit and run tactics.
The achievement didnt pop up 😪
Just started LASO yesterday after beating the campaign on legendary. This was helpful
@Matthew in some ways LASO is easier because of the bandana skull, plus if you get the tank gun. Just maintain your shields and get those checkpoints
I would play laso, but I’m not repeating the whole game to get the skulls I’m missing lol, will wait for the mission select to be added (which is f’ing crazy to say… a basic feature)
yeah, i just started playing the campaign myself and learned of this before hand, so i'm making it a point ot get everything on first go around
LASO in Infinite is like:
343 'non dev': overpower everything
343 dev: overpower everything but the Chief, ok
343 'non dev': no, overpower EVERYTHING
343 dev: oohhhh
lol, yes
for the first boss what i did was hook ,melee, plasma nade, back up a bit then hook and repeat, kill the two shield jackles first. he didnt even get to shoot or hit back
Great video, I found that tank cannon and energy sword was most efficient, took me around 4 hrs. Was great fun to have a super lethal mode instead of having to cheese everything like previous games
4 hours for Laso? Alright buddy

If I use mission replay will that still allow me to get the headmaster achievement?
Nothing like watching the game being broken with skips and the infinite ammos
Can anyone help me I beat the campaign on legendary and all skulls but did not get the achievement? Please help
Since the new May-Update the LASO-achievement does not work anymore... (or at least not in the same way)
Been waiting for this now it’s time I do laso
My trick with the skimmers is actually used to gravity hammer
If you get up close to them they don't shoot they're rocket launchers, you can clear whole crowds with the gravity hammer
I really used a gravity hammer for most of the my run, Dynamo grenades into gravity hammer, my secondary weapon switched from rocket launcher to needler to Sentinel beams
YOOOO
This is epic!
i just complete this challenge. might have been the most frustrating 2 weeks of my life.
I was gonna do LASO but I missed the Grunt Birthday Party skull.... guess I'm doing another Legendary playthrough first
In the second boss fight, i found that if you jump up on the two tiny ledges next to the trapped spartan, he can't hit you with the sword and he'll stand next to you confused until he switches to his plasma gun.
A legend as per usual 😂
You can melee one to get your health back before the boss fight if you take any damage at all
Which one is the one on the left
@@__skillz Left side if you're facing towards where the laser is firing
Bru I did laso twice without skipping any missions and still didn't get the achievement is it bugged atm
Yeah it's bugged
Does the tank gun have a requirement? It wasn't there when I tried to find it.
No requirements. Be sure to hold down X at the tip of the cannon as shown at 8:20 in this video.
Using the tank gun makes the whole LASO run worthless imo, just my 2 cents.
my friend decided to try this while i watched his suffering, and the checkpoint thing was super evident very quickly as he restarted the mission well over 7 times, so we found out that if you die by grenades or explosives, killing yourself with a rocket it always great, it checkpoints for some odd reason. He tried it many times and it works, even mid fight lmao
Does halo infinite have new game + or you just have to get every thing again
just completed my halo laso run 5 hrs bc of ur video 👍
I really wish they did not include the no hud skull because it just makes it feel less satisfying to play laso.
I punched the door at 5:07 a single time and it opened, and I haven't died on this LASO run up to this point. I must be OP
Excellent
when i do the warthog jump the thrusters stop me in my tracks and i fall straight down
Thank you bro, you’re a legend.
Is there a trick to this glitch? Because I can’t manage to do it
I just finished the campaign LASO but I didn't get the achievement and I am in SHAMBLES.
Same, any solutions about that yet? :S
@@additivewolf I guess just replay it all over again? Even though it's easiest of the series, I'm not doing it again
@@PwndahbearMC I read about people who has finished 2 or 3 times and still no achievement, they need to fix this wtf
Does it have to do with tank gun glitch? They added it back in so maybe that could be the case.
fortunately laso also makes things easier by makes brutes with ravagers incredibly scares which was my biggest hurdle in legendary
You only need to beat the story with all skulls on + legendary. You don’t have to capture all the FOBs or anything.
This vid is mint
Honestly you can just sword spam the first boss with the grapple, the sword stunt him every attack so its pretty easy
wait,i can't kill jega easily with spnker, fusion, and scorpion gun? whats? what? i'm confused as of i'm fighting him
I was waiting for this video thanks Mint👍much love from Seattle!
So MUST you do 100% game for laso? I'm a bit confused about that.
This video couldn't have come at a better time. Was just about to start my LASO run!
Having the thrusters maxed out and zooming around with an energy sword was the funnest time I had playing laso.

This is definitely by far one of the easiest ones and I also finished In about 6 hours without the cannon 😄 congrats dude
you didn't even passed mission 1, right? 😂
How difficult do you think the LASO is compared to none-skull legendary? i actually thought the normal one was pretty managable and am considering trying a LASO run.
Infinite ammo makes it easy
