People interested in marketing and entrepreneurship must understand that we are immersed in a globalized world that is constantly evolving and it is necessary to be in a continuous process of learning, exploring their skills and strengths and understanding the multiple tools that technology has put at our disposal.
Very well said, a constantly evolving world filled with innovations paves a way for a continuous learning process. Thanks for sharing! I'd love to hear more of your thoughts 😊
The Best Marketing Skills to Master in 2020 1) Data Analysis 2) Copywriting 3) Pick one Content Channel you're good at and stick with it (what are you good at?) 4) Repurpose your content (blogs, stories, post, etc...) 5) Basic SEO
I'm pursuing my masters in Advertising and public relations. I was feeling quite disappointed because I didn't saw much growth in PR sector therefore wanted to switch to marketing. Got your videos got clarity and now I'm ready to move. Thanks a lot man 🙏❤️
Hunter, how’s it going? I’m currently pursuing the same degree! Would you care to offer any insight on how this degree has worked out so far? Any tips I should know? Thanks!
Easily one of the best videos because all the skills mentioned are so foundational. Once you understand them, they can be applied to any marketing channel... but too many people just focus on the learning to use a marketing channel and then dont know what to do if things go wrong or dont work.
Hello Eric, I am a new digital marketing student. Which one of the skills mentioned in this video should I master first. I tried to learn copywriting but I found it difficult and complex.
Thank you for the recommendations! I know nothing about Data Science, but I wanted to know which one is better to start "Data Camp" or "365 Data Science"? Also, how can I apply it to marketing? please make a video about Data Science in Marketing.
Data camp is good, not sure about the other one, so try both! And yes, you can apply data science to marketing, but you'll have to learn the basics of marketing to know how it fits in!
How and when did you start learning about marketing and did you pursue a college degree or get here by taking on internships and doing courses and learning much of it by yourself?
Great Content sir. UH (University of Houston) student here 😎Go Coogs. Looking to get into PR/AD/Integrated marketing. Senior. This is pure gold as they only teach “book” content at the campus. Thanks!
Then how do I find out which areas I'm good at the most in order to focus and keep dwelling in one area? Just like when you know you like audios and copywriting and you don't edit videos. I am new to marketing and planning to learn about SEO, but since you said it's competitive and everyone knows the basics, should I start on learning the basics then keep working on it or which areas you'd suggest maybe trying to, see if perhaps I may be good at? Thanks a lot, love your videos!
Good question! I would recommend you try and see what Crypto Careers you're interested in and go from there, as we're quickly entering the new world of Web3. I have a video on it here: ruclips.net/video/ot2DN2PBReE/видео.html
Keep these videos, I am taking notes. Awesome content 1.Can u also tell best twitter channels/people for marketing? 2. Building foundations of marketing- from thinking creatively to campaigns to 4P of marketing etc
I’m starting an ad sales internship for WarnerMedia this summer. What should I be expecting and should i start learning these skills in your video now?
This recommendations are related to digital marketing right? But marketing is so much bigger, do you have any advice for people that want to be in marketing but maybe not in the digital one?
So as long as the interest to learn and grow through Marketing is there, you have nothing to worry about. It is good to take things step by step. Have fun learning! :)
Hey eric, love your content as always :)) so valueble. How do you charge a higher proce to current clients without changing the deliverables. I feel like I've been undercharging my clients.
Thank you! Great question! It's something we hear often. The short answer: demonstrate your expertise better. The more experienced and credible you are, the more valuable that service is because you are able to provide better results, even if the "deliverables" are the same. You can also niche down and specialize for a specific industry or product. Think of a neurosurgeon vs. a general practitioner. Who charges more for a "checkup"?
I actually made a video about this that I think could help. Let me know what you think! You can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/FcDVXEVQ7-k/видео.html 😊
It’s completely based on experience. More you practice, more you learn. Plus nobody can be “SEO Master” because Google releases nearly 13,000 updates a year. It keeps on changing so you have to keep on learning and practicing.
Good question. You can probably learn the basics in a few months if you apply yourself every day. You can also build a site and get some real world experience to learn faster.
