    One of the best ways to do well in marketing:
    - have the right attitude when working with other people
    - think about your end consumer
    - learn what's new - because there's always something new
    - make it work

      So true - the learning part is one of the most critical, but all together are very important.

    I'm 25 and pretty much in the same stage as you were aha. I feel I'm on the verge of breaking through in the marketing space. Learning constantly has definitely progressed me more after college compared to anything I learned in school. Really motivating. Thanks for sharing!

    Great advice, Eric! Fellow UCSD alum here, c/o 2019. Absolutely love the growth-oriented mentality that you advocate congruently throughout your channel. I can see how you mastered marketing from the resources that you included in your video, but what really helped you to make that jump to starting your own company while working at Break? Was it a translation of the marketing skills that you had been building through your own research and internships, or were you also spending a chunk of your time learning how to run a business as well?

    • @LevelingUpOfficial
      @LevelingUpOfficial  5 лет назад +3

      Great question! I got bored and I stopped growing so I wanted to give it a shot. Then I got fired because they found out! Taking time to learn how to run a business is definitely worth your time if you want to go down a similar path.

    Eric you’re nailing it with your leveling up branding🙌🏻 Question! You guys talk about how you livestream while recording the Marketing School podcast but I can’t find the livestream. Does it get saved anywhere after the fact? Specifically I was looking on RUclips for it. Keep up the awesome work!🙌🏻

    Is it always a no no to have a side hustle? I'd like to work in marketing but I already have a couple side hustles going. Will future employers frown upon this?

    • @LevelingUpOfficial
      @LevelingUpOfficial  3 года назад +1

      No not always, it usually depends. You can try it if you have the time for it, it is also good to have multiple streams of income. Go for it and let me know how it goes 😄

    Wierd title. Wendy's starting salaries are 5 figure. $18,000/annual is 5 figures. Even $40,000 isn't impressive for a bachelors degree.

    • @LevelingUpOfficial
      @LevelingUpOfficial  5 лет назад +3

      Very true - what we wanted to demonstrate is that this can even work for a very first paid internship or any step above free - all the way to the 6 figure mark.
