My favourite outtake is "Well, there's a watch, but I've lost it." from Human Nature.
Although it's actually shown in the making-of documentary instead of the bloopers, the outtake from The Five Doctors where Bessie's engine stalls and makes Jon Pertwee swear and hit the steering wheel in frustration never fails to amuse me.
That and Tom Baker swearing at K9 are my favorites
@@CommanderMouse72Insufficient data...
@justanormalhumanbeing1903 Yeah you never f!-bucking know the answer when it's important.
@@CommanderMouse72Tom Baker feeding K-9 vodka was a highlight too
That one from Survival is just legendary. Also love the one where the Cyberman stops someone to ask, "Do you know the way to the BBC?"
And just to make the "I've got cake!" one even funnier, all the crew would've heard is David randomly going "Woo-hoo!"
All of the Seventh Doctor outtakes are hilarious. You can tell the actors were having a great time.
Oml Sylvester is a treasure he’s absolutely hilarious
If some of you are wondering how some of these got out - the Editing boys under the fountain at the middle of Television Centre would record moments onto Christmas tapes for the staff who paid for a copy.
I remember reading many years ago that after the revelation of the missing episodes came to light in the early 80s personnel from DWM explicitly told BBC archivists to not throw anything away, or at least to consult with them if they were considering it.
"Yeah, you never fucking know the answer when it's important!"
Lmao.
There is a Whittaker era outtake. Idk what episode but there was a body with a gas mask and whenever the actor breathed it sounded like a fart and everyone started laughing
Love the Pertwee Troughton play fighting, you can just tell that they just loved winding eachother up, doesn't seem like there was anything malicious in it, more like two naughty schoolboys playing up for the class
They didn't get along at first apparently but actually became good mates afterwards but still played up the rivalry but the BBC thought they actually didn't like each other so kept them apart while filming the Five Doctors until the end which they both heavily disliked
the angel is indeed full of forests
You should watch a video called “doctor who: But the bloopers are the cliffhangers”
14:31 they should ve kept that as a nod to hartnell 🤣
2:07 - Shouting like an old fisherman’s wife; coupled with slapstick comedy from Buster Keaton
One must mention the Horse outtake from The Awakening.
I first heard Baker's saucy "snark" directed at K9 way back in 1996 shortly after I got online via CompuServe. It was audio only and a few years later I wondered if it was really from Doctor Who, or if was labeled "out of context", actually coming from some other production. But thanks to RUclips even more years later, I discovered it was quite genuine as the video clearly revealed Baker in costume! I found myself quite gobsmacked!
I mean, Ryan's Edits could be a great person to talk to with his Star Trek intakes
The earlier episodes (pre-Tom Baker) had few bloopers owing to the scarcity/price of film. So a lot of the final footage has minor line flubs/mistakes left in
Pertwee and Troughton were actually on really good terms personally, they knew the audience had found it hilarious in the three doctors to have them hating the sound of each other talking so they agreed to keep it up,and they did right up until Troughton died
7:14 TomSka Is a comedy legend
Which video was that
Can't wait to see you do a parody edit or two!
From what I've read, Colin Baker was far less of an improvisational actor, so while there definitely are bloopers from his era, they likely aren't anywhere near as interesting as many of these.
i am so glad this popped for me
"Daivd, I've got cake"
David: "WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Meanwhile I'm getting cake next month.... if you guys know what I mean :)
my headcannon for the cybermen playing in the park is that there was a time where the mondas population was fully converted but the planet wasnt in any catastrophic danger. the kids of the cybermen where allowed some degree of emotional freedom as they needed it for their development and they couldnt fully comprehent the situation that they where in. companion animals like dogs where mechanised for efficiency and safety (meaning purely farm animals like pigs where still organic for consumption), hence why K9 (or a k9 looking robotic dog) is there. the cybermen are just kids in the park.
that is a choice shot of you in the thumbnail
oh and on doctor who unleashed: when i went to filming they were quite clearly filming bts stuff
I would love to see a debate between you, Harbo Wholmes, and Full Fat Videos on Series 7B and Series 8. You all have super different opinions on them.
Are Bloopers cannon?
The Angel full of Forests: coming to a Big Finish story near you
Ace: professor do you remember that time you told us not to move and then started screaming
The "I need to get the chat out of the way so you can see the video" problem could've been fixed by simply sticking with the "green text in most transparent boxes" format you'd been using for these streams in the past.
In the past I've been using Streamlabs OBS and its RUclips chat feature broke and hasn't been fixed for months, so I changed software.
Doctor who bloopers but I talk instead…😂
I don't think I've seen a single blooper/outtake of the Whittaker era....
I saw one from Praxeus on It'll be Alright on the Night.
Mr Tardis, have you read any of the reference works by Lars Pearson’s Mad Norwegian Press, and do you have any opinions on them?
Some shows use to have a dummy run for the actors to mess about with the lines and each others roles to get things correct on main shooting run.
Some of the outtakes we see are not real bloopers but the cast and crew having fun before filming.
Maybe that is why some of the quality of the outtakes are so poor.
to much talk
Why on earth would you obscure the videos with a message box and a box for yourself? I don't want to watch you talk & laugh
Don't watch then? "Reacting" is in the title, many of these clips are available online (the rest are on home media), you can watch these clips without me.
